Burnet's Little Princess was a story about the period of Louis IV in France. It mainly told the story of a princess named Louise. Louise was the only daughter of King Louis IV of France and had been loved and cared for since she was young. However, her happiness did not last long because of the outbreak of the French Revolution, Louis IV was forced to abdicate, and Louise became an exiled princess. During her exile, Louise met a prince named Philip, and the two gradually fell in love. However, Philip's father did not approve of their relationship, so they were forced to separate. In the end, Louise decided to go to England to live with Philip. In England, Louise learned English and British culture and became an excellent politician. She and Philip planned the plan to restore France and finally succeeded in making France an independent country again. At the end of the novel, Louise and Philip lived happily together and Louise became one of the greatest queens in French history.
