The MC has both Earth and Star magic. He then spent no time studying these abilities. These abilities have almost no limits. The MC sees his Earth and Star abilities and goes " I guess I will copy this character and this character for these magics." That is the extent of him learning how to use his magic. If no effort is used in studying or using the magic then why not make yourself absorb stars and become an instant god or give yourself a giant c***. Why limit yourself if you have no limits. My complaint is not that he doesn't do these things instead it is how little effort it took to get his results.

He stated in a earlier chapter that he was setting up a foundation for future magic. I think he will create his own unique magic in the future, given time and patience.
Ch. 60, and he's still at Lvl1, foundation or not. He's procrastinating like your typical cultivators who prefer to wait for a crisis to hit them before bothering to strengthen themselves.
