9 Overlord vs God of war

Ares looked at the red sword with wary but did not back down he was the god of war and had met with with millions of dangerous situation .He slowly summoned his armour around his body took a stance.

"Who send you and what is your purpose in interfering with my mission?" Ares asked trying to divulge some information from the strange man in armour "did my father send him, No his only plan for me was the princess" ares thought.

"Like I said I am here for my experiment so do your part as a guinea pig and come at me" Ray said taunting him.

Angerd by the tuant ares sprinted and in a second appeared infront of Ray with his buldgingg right arm. The arm moved at an extreme speed and momentum to Rays face and with a loud boom the impact was made . The damage between the exchange was huge as the surrounding trees within 100 meters was all blown awaya but just as the dust cleared all we could witness was that like a toy Ares hand was being held by Ray without even budging from the spot.

" hmm not bad, not bad at all but it's seems like wearing The Dominator armour was a little over kill as I couldn't feel much of the punch. Should have wear my manticore armour instead but looking at the destruction I can manage to estimate an amount" Ray explained in thinking pose while holding on to a an angry god that is struggling to get out of grip.

Ares suddenly out of nowhere summoned a sword on his left hand and slashed at Ray but was easily parried with Ray's sword.

Ray slowly looked at Ares and smirked then followed a kick to his gut shattering his armour and sending Ares flying through sky. Ray watched the blown awaya figure of ares that is descending a few mile away.

With a boom Ares landed on the ground coughing blood he slowly looked at his armour that had been destroyed in stomach area. He had never felt overpowered like this before even facing his father he didn't struggle like this.

"Although I know the outcome but frankly speaking it's very disappointing" Ares turned his head back to see the monster that kicked him just standing there shaking his head.

"you know if you have any secret power up this would be the best time for you to do it" Ray said kicking him in the face sending Ares crashing to few more trees.

Ray watched as Ares who was slowly getting up from impact and hate was plastered all over his face but then noticed small sparks of lightning started to flow around Ares.The rage of humiliation and disgrace build inside him his opponent was not even fighting him but playing around him like a toy and that made his anger boil.

His magic flared and lighting started to form around him. The clouds started form above them slowly turning it into a huge thunder storm and with a leap Ares reached sky high mustering up huge amount of lightning in hand and roared.

"Feel the wrath of a God..."The thunder descended on land and the impact made it sound like the very earth itself shook.

-Diana pov-

I am now standing infront of the dead general ludendorff / Ares with my sword peircing his heart and ending it all but I don't know what is happening I thought if I had killed Ares the the war will come to an end and peace will be achieved but looking down even after I killed Are men are not stopping. I watched as the soldiers still kept on moving to the path of destruction even without the influence of Ares "Was what my mother said was true ?".

As I was having these thoughts I felt a massive disturbance in the air . I turned my head to the South of the base and witnessed a storm was forming in seconds at the direction of the forest and what followed was a blinding .

"Dear Hera...." I unconsiously cursed at what followed after the blinding light had descended .The impact made was tremendous and after shock can be felt all the way here causing me fall back.

"what in god's name was happening over there..." I exclaimed.

Ares slowly descended to the ground panting the amount of power released took a great toll on his body but it's still manageable as his objective has been accomplished.

Ares now had a wicked grin plastered on his face at the level of destruction everything and everyone around a few km was destroyed by the force of lightning. There were only fire and destruction that remained.This was what he always wanted what he yearned for .

"This is what shall become of all that stands in my way after my plans is done I will have the power to even take down olympus itself" Just as he was enjoying his victory and self praising a loud applause was heard starteling him he turned his head shaking a little hoping it was something else but to demise it was as he feared the man dark armour applauding like he was enjoying the performance .

"Marvelous the power level of that attack it is possible that it is as high as an 220 to 250 player if they ever existed. No it could even be boosted to 280 if you could perform our magic more". Ray praised while assessing Ares magic and the amount is huge. As expected of Dc universe everyone here meant buisness .He would be dead meat if he was in his previous stats.

"Now we had enough playing around let's start our real experiment" Ray proclaimed loudly.
