When A Mage Revolts
Kubei was just an ordinary pencil and button pusher working a day job, hating his boss and making horrible speeches when one day he fell asleep after pushing an all-nighter. When he woke up, he was bound to a chair, facing three creepy robed women and in a body way too young and way too weak to be his own. As he slowly came to, he realized that he was no longer in the same universe as he was before. He had teleported to the Kingdom of Helius, where an all-powerful church rules its lands and wages war against the elusive group known only as Mages. Armed with an incredibly cocky neural interface that just won’t shut up and his own sheer wit, our MC will find himself not just fighting to survive, but maybe even something bigger than himself.
The Elder that Disappeared

Once Benjamin rushed to the nearby altar, the scent was not what he hoped for.
There weren’t any blazing holy light in the sky. It wasn’t intense to say the least. Men from the Church were lined up nicely in a row, standing still outside the altar. All the priests flew in and chanting while holding onto a cross. A layer of transparent light film emerged and camouflaged all those from Church into it.
Opposite of them, were a group of flamen dressed in long grey robes. There were about twenty of them, lined up on the high pedestal on the altar top.
"Naive dirty cult, are you aware of your sins?" The eldest flamen raised both arms up high and shouted.
Ravishing wolf, Silver hawk, Titanoboa... Decades of magic beasts trailed around the altar. Their foreheads had a strange symbol drawn with fresh blood. They seemed to be controlled by psychic powers as they gazed on the Church, with cold murderous intent.
