Just a few hours ago, he saw Vale as a whole, he meant his Vale and not this alternative Vale, however, it was still a shock to him to see Vale utterly destroyed like this.

He never thought he'd see the day, he felt conflict watching this if this happened to Vale.

Then what happened to Beacon?

What happened to RWBY?

What happened to JNPR?

More importantly, what happened to his family?

There's a lot of things that he wanted to know, but right now the question that he wanted to know the most is.

What caused this destruction?

No, the accurate question is who caused this?

This might not be his reality, but it doesn't mean that he doesn't care, he cared alright? He cared too enough to….

Get angry about it.

Jaune gritted his teeth in frustration, anger, and helplessness.

Suddenly someone touched his shoulder, and he shifted his gaze toward the culprit and he found out that it was Blake.

"Are you okay?"

"No, I'm not." Jaune bluntly replied, there was no point in lying, it was so obvious that he was conflicted about it.

"I see, it was a stupid question to ask, while this might not your Vale, but to you, it's the same thing right?" Blake said knowing.

Honestly, he couldn't refute his words as it was indeed the case, a Vale in a different reality is still Vale at the end of the day.

He doesn't care about the changes in this reality, but one thing is for sure, whoever is responsible for this will pay.

"Mhm..? Oh? Isn't this interesting?" Blake muttered in curiosity and interest.

"Blake what are yo-" All of a sudden his sentence was cut off as suddenly a flash took Blake away from his spot.

Jaune would have interfered if it wasn't for the fact that the flash looked very familiar, it has red roses flattering around.

It didn't take him a moment to understand that it was Ruby's semblance, but his question is why did she take Blake away from him..?

Then similar things happened to the rest of his group, Taylor was carried by Yang?

Echidna was dragged by Blake the Faunus?

What the hell happened here? Then in front of him was Weiss screaming at the top of her lungs trying to stab him to death!

His instinct was screaming at him to dodge or block her attack and he didn't.

Clang*

The sound of two metal clashing was heard across the place, Weiss however didn't just stop there she continued to stab him with her Myrtenaster.

"RUBY!"

What? 

Jaune was stunned for a bit, however, he immediately noticed in the corner of his eyes, Ruby was about to shoot him with her Crescent Rose.

As she fired, he immediately countered it with his Katana, then it didn't stop there as Yang appeared beside him, attacking him with her Ember Celica with the intent to kill.

But before her fist could reach him, he used his leg and hit Yang on the face, definitely enough to make her unconscious.

Bang! 

Yang's body was crushed into a house creating a crater on its wall.

"Yang! You! You're going to pay for that!" Blake appeared with a feral look on her face.

Jaune didn't want to fight, it's enough, he wishes to know why they started attacking him for no reason.

He took a deep breath and shouted. "Everyone stop attacking me! I don't have any idea WHY ALL OF YOU ARE ATTACKING ME! But one thing for sure it's a misunderstanding!"

Then just like that they froze and hesitated.

"What did you say?" Weiss asked with a low voice.

Jaune's eyes landed on her form, now that he got a proper look at her appearance. Weiss appears to be older than Weiss from his reality about 2-3 years, not only that her hair and clothes were a mess, but she also looked thinner.

It was as if she didn't have a proper breakfast for days, not to mention the bloodshot and bags in her eyes.

Seriously, what the hell happened in this reality? 

"I said it's a misunderstanding! I don't have any idea why you guys started attacking me or kidnapping my group!"

"Misunderstanding..? Kidnapping?! What nonsense are you spouting about?! There is no misunderstanding or kidnapping that happened here! YOU DID THIS TO US, TO VALE TO EVERYONE IN REMNANT! YOU DROVE US TO THE BRINK OF EXTINCTION!" Weiss shouted emotionally at Jaune, stunned form.

"What?" 

Jaune was trying to process what he heard, she said he did this?

But he didn't…

Oh no, did his counterpart do all of this?

But that's impossible, if he's anything like him, he would never do something like this unless….

He isn't Jaune, just a faker who took his appearance and ruined his image.

And that is exactly what a Reincarnator is.

It took his counterpart's body and used it for his own evil goals.

Not even a day has passed, and he already figured out the enemy, his evil counterpart.

Jaune Arc.

"Weiss! Stop talking with that disgusting being! Kill it!" Blake shouted at her teammate.

It appeared that his counterpart wasn't even categorized as a person, but as a 'thing'.

"R-right…!" Then the hesitation of Weiss disappeared and was about to start attacking him again.

But before it could start, someone's voice interrupted them.

"Everyone stop! Everything is just a misunderstanding!" It was his group administrator Blake himself.

It seemed that going to Vale was the right decision, after all, every information we needed was here.

Not even a day and we already figured out who we're going to 'hunt'. It's Jaune's counterpart, or well the person with the same appearance because that person isn't Jaune.

It's just a person who took over his friend's counterpart's body.

Anyway, it seems like my words got their attention, at first I thought it would be interesting to see Jaune and this reality RWBY fight, but it's just pitiful to watch him fight them, especially looking at his confused and helpless expression.

"What do you mean it's a misunderstanding?" Yang replied with a judging look.

"It is what it is, a big misunderstanding from your reaction, it seems like you hated Jaune's counterpart enough for you to try and kill him."

Blake, the Faunus of team RWBY, raised her brows and said. "What exactly do you mean by 'counterpart'?"

"Isn't it obvious? Look at Jaune who is in front of you and the Jaune you hated to see if they are anything similar." It's a fact that they can't deny, once they realize that this misunderstanding would end.

Following his advice, the RWBY started at Jaune for a full minute, before realizing that indeed, our Jaune was different from theirs.

Not only, he looked younger, but he also doesn't have the same repulsive aura as that 'thing'.

Not to mention, this Jaune's expression isn't filled with craze madness like their world's Jaune had.

"He…he really is different…." Ruby was the first to admit that our Jaune and their Jaune are completely different.

"T.. that's…yeah…true.." Yang bit her lips, even knowing that truth she was still looking at Jaune with such an intense gaze.

Using my thinker skill, I've realized that Yang gained PTSD, a major one and that PTSD is Jaune, just by looking at his face, she would have an anxiety attack.

It made me wonder how the hell did she even manage to attack Jaune.

As for Weiss, she was looking at Jaune with a conflicted expression, among those emotions, guilt was the biggest.

Even with my thinker ability, I still couldn't figure out why she was guilty of something, getting more information out of her caused me a headache.

Then my eyes landed on Blake Belladonna, she's the calmest amongst them, she had a neutral expression on her face.

Though that was only on the surface, on the inside, there was a tidal wave of emotion, most of it was confusion though.

"So, now that you know that it's a misunderstanding, why don't we all go to a place where we can talk peacefully." 

Weiss, Yang, and Blake stared at Ruby, waiting for her instructions.

Ruby closed her eyes and let out a sigh, "Let's do that…follow me."

Before they arrived at the meeting place, team RWBY were all staring at Jaime with different kinds of expressions, though the 4 of them were also guarded, their body language shows if Jaune moves suspiciously.

They would no doubt attack him without hesitation, but I couldn't really blame them, the trauma that each of them got from Jaune's counterpart isn't something to take lightly.

As we arrived at our destination, we saw a handful of people staying in a certain area, crying, laying on the dirty ground.

Not only that but their clothes were also ruined beyond recognition, it was as if they were all beggars.

I just realized it, team RWBY isn't so different from these people, they only got slightly cleaner clothes.

Makes me wonder, how hard was life here if they couldn't even possibly get proper clothes?

I pity the people of this reality.

Then we arrived at the tent where they planned to talk 'peacefully' with us, as we got in.

I saw Echidna and Taylor talking to Glynda?

She looks…. different? The large scar on his face was the biggest difference aside from her messy clothes, of course, her left eye wasn't spared it seems.

She only had her right eye to see.

Then she noticed our presence, her eyes locked into Jaune's. It was so intense that it was nearly fanatical, but after a few moments, she realized that this Jaune with us is different from the one they know.

"Team RWBY, what's going on..?"

So it seems I'll have to explain the truth to them.

So much for my plan buying high-tech gadgets here, cause with the current status of this world, it wouldn't happen.

In this reality, a reincarnator took Jaune's body, and because this reincarnated person is evil, it nearly drove Remnant to extinction.

About 90% of the world's population died after a reincarnator took Jaune's counterpart's body.

And it only took a few years for the evil reincarnator to wipe out 90% of the remnant population.
