Saorsa's duty

"Samantha, Itri, Saorsa," Lily knocked at the door, trying to bring the girls out of their slumber. Lily had stayed overnight, for there was a lot of preparation to do to welcome the king. And she had taken it upon herself to wake the girl, for she knew they would not be in time.

Itri rolled on her side, licked her lips, and went back to sleep again with a groan while Samantha frowned at being disturbed. Being a light sleeper, Saorsa woke up the moment she heard Lily's voice.

"Samantha, Itri, Saorsa, wake up." Lily continued to yell from the other side of the door, and Saorsa knew that the old matron would continue to do so until someone among them opened the door. With a sigh, she got off her small, yet comfortable bed and opened the door as she stifled a yawn.
