The pagodas in the Kanaru's World originally served for the containment and destruction of the mana of the magicians locked there. But when Kanaru developed his own taboo magic, he changed the function from destruction to absorption.

As soon as the pagodas appeared in this world, Lucifer realized his true purpose.

"Pathetic mortal! Do you want to take my powers this way?!" Lucifer exclaimed.

Inside the red pagoda a huge suction force emerged.

Quickly a large part of the black liquid was absorbed by the red pagoda, but another large part was concentrated in the black sphere that surrounded Kanaru. It seemed as if that black sphere was generating gravity towards that part of the black liquid.

The black sphere was rapidly expanding and compressing with the newly acquired mass.

Finally, the red pagoda finished absorbing the remaining black liquid, but now it tried to abhor the golden fire on the floor.

Lucifer didn't stay still at any time.

He had extended his right arm.

The golden fire was beginning to head towards that arm, but the suction force of the red pagoda prevented it from doing so easily.

"Mortal... I won't let you take this!" Lucifer exclaimed.

He had never been so upset with a mortal.

"I told you, I'll take everything." A cold voice was heard behind Lucifer.

The black sphere that was being compressed thanks to a part of the black liquid broke.

Lucifer couldn't afford to turn, if Kanaru took the golden fire from him, it meant the end for him. After all, that fire was most of the telesma of him as an angel soul remnant.

Kanaru's appearance was different from the previous one.

His hair had turned white once more due exhaustion from bringing large amounts of Dark Matter to this world, but mostly this change in his appearance was due to him bringing those gigantic pagodas that exhausted him so much.

Bringing solid matter from his world to this one was not impossible, but it was extremely exhausting and painful. Even so, Kanaru showed no pain in his indifferent gaze.

His clothes had also changed, now he was wearing black armor that covered his entire body except for his face. His right arm seemed to have been restored, but that was not the case, it was just an artificial arm made from Dark Matter.

Numerous black sparks began to surround his body.

He knew it was only a matter of time before Kanaru's strength was exhausted or this pagoda stopped sucking the golden fire out of him. Once any of these things happened first, he would have won.

This was the first time someone threatened him in this way.

Kanaru's expression changed.

The black wings made of electricity flapped and Kanaru flew extremely fast to the far corner of Lucifer.

Lucifer stopped absorbing the golden fire with his right hand and it began to be sucked into the red pagoda with more force than before.

"Go!" Kanaru exclaimed.

He was literally pushing Lucifer with his two hands with all his might.

Kanaru used all of his strength to move Lucifer in a particular direction.

Lucifer's reflections were amazing.

Lucifer's right arm touched Kanaru's armor.

Kanaru's armor transformed into a dark and white substance that was absorbed by Lucifer's right hand… but it was too late.

Kanaru kept pushing Lucifer in the air and with his great force they both entered directly into the only pagoda that didn't apply a suction force, but whose doors had been opened long ago.

This was, of course, the black pagoda.

Lucifer and Kanaru went straight there.

"Game over, bastard." Kanaru said.

The doors of the black pagoda closed and everything inside was plunged into darkness.

Kanaru was looking at Lucifer. He was surrounded by black chains except for his right arm.

Lucifer's mana was being sucked into the black pagoda.

Kanaru's crimson eyes had changed a few minutes ago to red eyes shaped like a Star of David.

The absorbed mana was heading from the pagoda to his body. He was recovering quickly.

Kanaru's recovery had nothing to do with the mana absorbed if not his original ability.

In this place -No Rules- didn't fully work in Kanaru.

Lucifer couldn't move an inch inside this place without Kanaru allowing it first.

Kanaru's hair had gradually changed from white to gray with streaks of black.
