94 Traitor of the Light (1)

Kanaru and Lucifer were in the air.
Kanaru disappeared in a red flash and he appeared behind Lucifer.
He swung his sword at his waist.
Lucifer simply ignored that attack.
*CLANNG!*
Kanaru's flaming sword didn't hurt him. It seemed as if his sword had struck steel.
The flaming sword in his left hand disappeared.
'My mana has depleted very quickly...'
Suddenly, Lucifer's red wings changed to a golden color.
Golden threads wrapped around Kanaru's body.
Kanaru's reflection didn't work
"Mortals have always been a lot of fun. They always want to get closer to the gods just to have a little intelligence. You are only a mortal a little stronger than the others, representative of the light." Lucifer snorted.
Immediately afterwards, he extended his right arm towards Kanaru's body.
Kanaru felt an immense danger towards that arm.
He disappeared in another flash of red and he reappeared on the floor.
'What the hell was that feeling of immense danger on his right arm? Also, vector control against that guy is impossible at the moment, he emits a different energy than mana, but similar at the same time… he's like a much stronger and purer version of mana.'
Kanaru frowned and he looked up.
"To be a remnant of the soul of a fallen angel, you are strong. Representative of light? Well, I guess that's not as intimidating as 'monster'." Kanaru said as he analyzed the situation.
Then he looked at his right arm.
For some reason Kanaru couldn't regenerate that arm.
"When I fought in the kingdom of God, most of the angels who served God had that annoying regeneration ability so I just removed that annoying ability." Lucifer said.
Kanaru was surprised to hear it.
'-No Rules- can it also remove the function of esper abilities?'
-No Rules- was one of Lucifer's abilities, that ability ignored one of God's rules.
Kanaru used this to remove a restriction on his body that God created in his body for being a human, for that reason he could use magic without damaging his body, but now it turns out that that ability could also be used from that way.
Also, this ability was single-use, but it seems that Lucifer didn't have this limitation.
"I've underestimated you a bit." Kanaru smiled wryly.
Out of nowhere, an immense pressure landed on his body

The golden flame was still present on the floor and Lucifer observed everything.

Lucifer landed on the floor.
The flames hurt him.

He didn't care about the black liquid that constantly filled the room. After all, the golden flames never went out and they didn't hurt his body.

It looked like a sea of petroleum
Even so, Lucifer saw the black sphere was Kanaru with emotion in his eyes.

A red pagoda and a black pagoda appeared in the middle of the room.
They were two of the pagodas in the archipelago of the Kanaru's World.
The pagodas perfectly blended into the black sea and...
…its doors were opened.
Lucifer's disdain for Kanaru disappeared when he realized the purpose of those pagodas.
