Future Plans (Part 1)

After Alvin turned off his PC, he began to think of his gains during the first entry into the 'Pirate King' world. The profit in the game was marvelous. He was temporarily in the lead for levels, and had also received several important advantages. Best of all, he had a very good precious medicine that could guarantee him at least 5 attribute points. It could be translated as a good beginning, the first step of a great journey.

In a very good mood, Alvin began of prepare for the new day! He cleaned up his room, had his breakfast and run out of his house for his morning workout.

For the next month, there wasn't going to be any school because school was on recess. What he had to do was take advantage of this period of time to strengthen his foundation as much as possible.

The community where Alvin lived was mainly populated by middle income families so only ordinary people lived here.

After taking a 20 minutes jog, he finally arrived at the community park. Because it was early morning on a working day, the park was almost deserted so Alvin was confident he wouldn't receive any disturbances during his practice this morning.

The moment he got here, Alvin began his morning workout by completing a 10 lap run around the community park. After that, he immediately began another session of pushups and sit-ups to put his body in top shape.

These whole basic exercises lasted for about 2 hours. By the time he finished it was 8:00 AM in the morning. By this time, he had been joined at the park by a few youths who were also on vacation and had decided to come to the park to train.

The function of this substance was to put him in a calm state and increase the effects of his training. That was why his progress was so fast.

"Again!" Alvin's eyes sharpened as he started to practice [Force Fist] again.

Alvin's movement speed became faster and faster, and the moves started to perfectly link with one another. After practicing it for the fourth time, his speed had already become twice as fast as before, and the damage had also increased greatly.

Through his breathing, Alvin felt that his control was getting better and better and his blood was circulating better.

Alvin finally stopped practicing when he felt that he had run out of breath. He was really surprised at his progress in this fist art. According to his talent classification, his talent should be in swordsmanship but he didn't expect his fist arts practice to also be so fast.

After thinking about it for a while he came up with two reasons. One was high strong soul strength. The function of this attribute is to increase his comprehension speed so having increased it to a whole 30 points, this should be its effect. Also the cool feeling coming from his hand was a factor that helped to increase his training speed to such a level.

At this time, Alvin sat down on a bench nearby a started to think about what he was going to do next while restoring his stamina.

Now that he had achieved 340 kg strength, he could once again try the awakening potion to see whether he could awaken as an Enhancer.

But Alvin didn't want to rush into things. The first time that the previous body tried to awaken, because of his superior C+ talent and his hard work, his strength had reached 350 kg, 10 kg higher than his current strength. But yet, he still failed during his awakening ceremony and the backlash even caused his strength and talent to deteriorate.

So before Alvin could out about why this awakening failed, he didn't want to try it again. But now he was facing another dilemma; how he was going to pass his final test in three months if he did not awaken.

The minimum requirement to qualify for the test is to awaken as an Enhancer, so even if his strength was increased, without awakening, he wouldn't even have the chance to show his strength.

That was why he was confused and didn't know whether he should try again to see whether the awakening process would succeed. The synchronization of the 'Pirate King' world setting had changed his physique a lot so he didn't know whether this would change his talent.

Anyways, he would first have to find a way to test his talent again before he made a decision whether to try the awakening ceremony again.

Apart from that, Alvin didn't even know how strong he was compared to the Enhancers of this world. The government authorities and aristocratic families had blocked all information about Enhancers from the reach of ordinary people.

All ordinary people knew was that, Enhancers were very strong but as to how strong they were, nobody knew. From his memories, Alvin at least knew that when one completes the awakening ceremony, the strength would jump to 500 kg minimum. This was a very staggering for even him who came from a world where such strength was very rare.

Alvin didn't know why information about Enhancers and Evolvers were so hard to come by. What even has made him more worried is that from the previous Alvin's memories, his instructor had told them that no matter how strong ordinary people gets, they will never be able to defeat Enhancers.

As for the reason for this, the instructor never explained. This was really strange to Alvin who knew that some ordinary people could train to have more than 500 kg strength in this world! If even Alvin knew this, there was no doubt that his instructor knew of it as well but he still insisted that ordinary people could never defeat Enhancers.

That means there is something about Enhancers that allows them to stand above ordinary people apart from their strength. This is what Alvin wanted to find out, because he was now considering the possibility of him not being able to awaken. If this happened, he needed a way to compete with the Enhancers and the stronger Evolvers of this world.

While going through Alvin's memories to decide his future path, Alvin suddenly found something interesting. It was the attic of his apartment, which used to serve as his father's study. When he was little, the previous Alvin had once entered that place and it contained a fully stocked library and some old weapons that his father had abandoned.

He figured that since the previous Alvin's father was a high level Enhancer, there should be some information or clues about Enhancers in that place.

When he thought of this, Alvin stood up and started to run back home.
