Chapter 54 - Wedding Night

When Lara opened the door and was welcomed by a waft of roses, she looked around the room and saw that it was decorated in a romantic manner, no doubt it was around the time they left for their dinner.

She slowly walked in as she took in the look of her surroundings, the bedsheets were white with heart shaped roses on it, little red lanterns guiding her way and beautiful roses all around.

She felt her heart beating in her eardrums with each step she took when she was halfway in, Lucas switched off the lights and suddenly the illumination. The red lanterns welcomed a romantic vibe, a slow song started playing in the background and Lucas stretched out his hand to her. "May I have this dance?"

A smile bloomed on her face as she placed her hand in his. She followed his lead as they took step after step, they gently swayed to the tune of the music.

His hands on the small of her back, eyes in contact with hers and her hands rested on his shoulders.
