The Villain’s Repentance

Lara was at rock bottom, feeling like a puppet whose strings had been cut. When she stumbled upon her husband and best friend in a compromising embrace, everything fell into place. The heartbreak stung, but it also ignited a fierce determination within her. Instead of wallowing in despair, fate intervened, giving her a second chance at life—waking her up ten years earlier, just before the chaos began. Armed with wisdom, she promised herself not to repeat the same mistakes. As she stood at the top of the stairs, her gaze fell on Lucas, her once-beloved fiancée. Regret washed over her; she couldn't believe she had almost let him slip away. This time, things would be different.

Lara took a quick shower, still in her bathrobe she laid down on the edge of the bed replying to a few well wishers, In Fact she was just blindly staring at her phone as she thought to herself that tonight the last wall between Lucas and her had been broken down.

Her stomach turned in knots as she was starting to feel nervous but at the same time a bit excited.

When Lucas finished his bath, he saw her asleep with her lit phone beside her, seeing it wasn't charged he connected it to the power and turned to look back at her, he placed a stray hair behind her ears and sat there just staring at her.

He sat there in a daze, before today he would give up on her but now she was already his wife, unless he was of any harm to her, he would not let her go.

He changed into a pair of pajama shorts and laid down beside her drawing her into his embrace, he inhaled her hair and smelling his shampoo on her and did something to him.
