All In The Name Of Justice

The part of the crew that remained uninjured throughout the ordeal immediately began to set a course to a nearby town. We were lucky enough to find one that would only take a few hours to get to.

My eyes remained focused on the direction of the duo Marine Vice-Admirals. I immediately got Labrys from the cabin and remained on guard for the most part. Stussy was busy helping Ken with the injured marines, the burns that they had gotten from Sakazuki were quite severe, and they needed all the help that they could get.

It was then I sensed something happening. My Observation Haki showed me a rather troubling scenario, Lava like meteors raining from the sky, and a frozen wasteland that completely rendered the ship useless.

"Oi! Brace for impact!!"

My orders immediately revebrated throughout the entire ship. Everyone got their weapons ready for the incoming battle before us.

I immediately summoned lightning to my axe and covered it in Armament Haki. I looked towards the sky, which had now darkened with a red hue, and swung my axe at it.

"Fulgur Mortuorum!!!!"

The lightning of the dead blew past the clouds and detonated the oncoming lava meteors. In the distance, I sensed a new wave of ice making its way towards our ship. I couldn't delay the crews escape any longer.

"Stussy, you're head of the ship till I get back. You guys need to escape," I commanded.

"We're not going to leave you alone! Let us help!!" Stussy and Ken Protested.

"You won't be helping me, if anything, you'll be getting in the way," I rejected, "Also, why are you trying to go against my orders? Get going."

I could tell that they weren't happy with my decision, but it's not like I was going to let them endanger their own lives along with the crews because of this.

While all of this was happening, my dumbass had forgotten the fact that there were Marine Submarines within the vicinity. As a result, my Observation haki led me to sense something even more devastating coming. The Submarines seemed to shoot harpoons of somesort at the hull of the ship, effectively making our ship immovable. If I wanted to ensure the safety of the ship, I needed to make sure that those damn harpoons wouldn't get to our ship.

However, the Kuzan's ice was already beginning to encompass our ship. Moreover, I could sense Kuzan and Sakazuki making their way towards our ship as well.

I took a deep breath in, trying to calm my mind through all the events that were simultaneously happening. My top priority remained getting the ship to safety, but going through that remained the problem. I could already sense the ship beginning to sink because of the holes that the harpoons that punctured the ships hull.

"Alright, the orders remain the same, but I'm going to help you guys escape. I'll contact you when I'm done mopping the floor with them, just make sure that the crew gets some medical attention," I ordered camly.

"What-What are you doing?" Stussy asked anxiously.

I left labrys impaled on the deck of the ship, and took to the skies. I was using moonwalk for a bit, but eventually, I had to summon my wings so that I could fully focus my strength in what I was going to do.

The sturdiest part of our ship remained to be the back of it. It also had a good grip that wouldn't have let me loose my grip on it. I slowly lifted the ship up from the sea. The harpoons also lost their grips on the hole of the ship and tore parts of the hull open, leading to even more damages towards the ship.

I was already given the generall direction of the closest town from us. I immediately threw the ship towards that direction as hard as I could. The quickly distanced itself from the battlefield, eventually becoming a speck in the distance. It was only then that I had remembered the fact that I left my axe on that fleeting ship. I cursed quieltly before landing on the icy landscape, only to see the two Vice-Admirals slowly making their way towards us.

"You seem to think that because you helped them escape, that they won't be captured," Sakazuki snarled maliciously at me.

"Honestly, I'm surprised that you guys decided to come after me. Thought you'd prioritize that flamingo that left earlier," I commented.

"I was going to do so, but Sakazuki convinced me that we should kill you first. Word around HQ is that you're a bigger problem than Whitebeard," Kuzan scratched his head while commenting.

"Is that so? That only confuses me further, didn't you idiots get orders to steer clear from me?" I asked curiously.

I still remembered the fact that we had struck a non-aggression deal with the Five Elders, and since the Marines were surbordinates of the World Government. It only made sense that they would follow the same deal as the Five Elders.

"Although we are surbordinates of the World Government. I'm sure that they wouldn't mind us going against their orders," Sakazuki affirmed, lava bursting from his left hand, "After all, what we do is all in the name of Justice."

"I thought Justice was blind, not suicidal," I replied amusedly.

"Well, you thought wrong, " Kuzan's right side slowly turned to ice while talking.

It was clear that they were intent on leaving me as a corpse, but I was still confused.

'Did the Five Elders not inform them of my power?'

I chuckled a bit, causing the two of them to look at each other confused.

"What's with the laugh, you think that this is a joke?!" Sakazuki roared as he lunged at me.

"Great Eruption!!!"

His lava coated fist slammed square in my chest at full force. Causing an explosion that promptly engulfed the both of us. When the smoke cleared, my chest remained intact, partially because I had covered it in Armament haki. Sakazuki looked at me with a rather frustrated expression, he was about to leap back; but I caught his arm with my Armament haki coated hands before pulling him closer.

"Yes, this is a joke," I commented, and immediately after I slammed my free fist right in his face, sending him further back than he initially was.

Kuzan immediately appeared behind me, he looked like he was going to try and cover me with his ice, but I wasn't about to willingly let that happen. I did a spinning back-hand to smack him away, but he immediately transferred his conciousness somewhere else. Leaving all that I hit nothing but pure ice.

However, that didn't exactly mean that I was going to let him escape scot free. As soon as he reappeared from his elemental form, I appeared right in front of him and gave him a devastating push kick right in the abdomen. He spat plenty of blood as he sailed in the same direction that I had sent Sakazuki.

It had been a while since I engaged in hand to hand combat, but it didn't mean that I had completely forgotten it.

I kicked the ground and immediately appeared where the two were slowly beginning to stand.

I immediately threw a round-house kick at Sakazuki's face, and landed an exe kick on the back of the head of Kuzan.

Kuzan immediately kissed the icy ground, while Sakazuki was sent an even further direction from where he landed.

I decided to focus my attention towards Sakazuki, after all, he was the one who insisted on trying to fight me. It was better for him to get a brief lesson on what happens when he did that.

So I immediately begun chasing after him, he was still flying because of the kick I had given him. However, he must have sensed that I was running right after him, because he immediately burst into lava and sent a large quantity of it my way. The heat eminating from the Lava would've been able to kill a normal person, but it did nothing to me.

I went right through it bare skinned and landed a deadly drop-kick right in his gut. He managed to land on his feet. However, the blood that he puked out told me that the kick I gave him had shattered something within his body.

"Show me all you can do in the name of your so-called Justice," I teased, slowly walking up to him.

I heard the comments based on the last chapter.

Because of this, I'm going to be a little more aggressive in my approach towards scenes like this, but my stance remains the same. I won't go out of my way to try and change the plot of the story.

I get that maybe I've been overdoing it by holding him back, and I'm going to work on that. However, the goal of the novel remains unchanged.

I hope that y'all can still rock with that

Love y'all!!!!!
