Chapter 23 The Curse Spirits
Between Japanese mythology and Chinese mythology, they may be the same in any way but they are different due to the gods and goddesses being described differently.
They can be described as such as spirits and divine purity and some can even be worshiped as emperors of a region and so the people look toward them as such.
Youkai and curses are the demons of the Japanese world. Some are said to be less dangerous and more peaceful and some were even worshiped as well due to them having a good relationship with the people.
The most common is probably a Kitsune, a fox spirit that can grow nine tails and how very strong powers that can be very powerful and they can also be known for their good fortune but sometimes they are known to be a bad omen but that some tales.
They can become into white, orange, and purple fur that can tell them how powerful they are.
"So where are the gods in this world?" Roki ask
"They all stay in the plain of heaven at the Takamagahara."
"The plain of heaven."
"Yes, the gods and goddesses stay there and they had some part in the world."
"Yeah, so what part?"
"The part of the world can mostly be part of what the gods here created is the water and the land around us."
"Okay."
"I heard that we have different gods."
"Yeah, the god I have is different from this."
"Wait, god?"
"Yeah, one god, and his name is Jesus Christ."
"I see."
"Yeah, we don't have so many gods as you guys but we hold our own religion and belief in things that not even you can even imagine."
"I see. You got shrine."
"No, we got churches."
"Churches?"
"Yes, but my mother said that I should be careful and not to listen to anyone that looks holy."
"Why that?"
"Because they sometimes believe to must and they take the good words and use in evil ways."
"I see that you got fakers that use the powers that they are given and use it for evil."
"Well, you can say that again."
"Haha."
They were almost there and they had stopped to see what was happening.
"You see that."
There were people that we're walking through the whole city and they were looking totally fine and Benimaru and Roki thought they would probably be in trouble but it didn't look that way.
"What is this?"
"I don't know."
"How you don't know?"
"Because I don't know Roki."
"This looks like people are lively and having a good time and what you said."
"Yeah, I said that there would be curses here."
"We should probably go down there just to make sure that we can predict something among them."
"Predict something."
"Yes, Benimaru. The prediction would always lead to answers."
"But also lead to danger."
"You say that now but that the only option there nothing left."
"You might be right about that and if there is a problem then he would surely come."
"Who?"
"Susanoo."
"Who is that?"
"The God of Storms."
A large thunder had come and then there was a silence.
"What the heck?"
"It just a thunderstorm. We better hurry up and do something about this before we are in it."
"We better go to the city then."
They left from where they were at and the storm started but they had made it into the hotel and Roki didn't know how to speak Japanese.
"Hello there, We looking for somewhere to stay."
"Okay, come to this way gentleman."
They were shown to their rooms and they settle down.
"This is something that I can get used to."
"Don't just be prepare."
"I know but this is something that I can't get out of my head."
"Yeah."
They close their eyes and they went to sleep and then Roki had a dream of his brother.
"Yoki, please be safe. I hope you not doing anything that will hurt you."
He has also seen that Brent had been in jail for the past few weeks there and he was armless and Kyle was beside him in the jail cell and Annie and Charl were questioning them.
"What is happening?"
"You should give us a reason why we should keep you alive huh?"
"Like I told you already. Do it because you bastard deserves to die because you killed my friend."
"Brent, calm down."
"No, I won't I will kill you all if I have to."
Roki kept going deep into his dreams and he has seen that Skia was talking to Limir.
"Tell me, what you know?"
"If I tell you then you might not like it but I can say that Roki is still alive but not here though."
"What do you mean?"
"I can't say but we talk about it."
"Yeah, you talk a lot with Roki." Skia was trying to make sure that she doesn't get mad.
Limir was quiet.
"Tell me where he is at. I deserve to know."
"Me too."
"Yoki."
"Yeah, I want to know where is my brother at?"
"I'm here. I'm here. They can't hear me. I need to wake up. Wake up!"
Roki had open his eyes and Benimaru was up and was in front of him and Benimaru said, "I told you to always be prepared for anything.
"What is happening?"
"Well, we dealing with a curse alright."
"And where it at?"
"Look above you."
It had a woman's face and a woman's body but it has a lower half of an insect body.
"Who is this?"
"What is this you mean?"
"You know what I mean."
"It a high-level curse."
"Hello there. You two are very lovely and very healthy. I want to just have fun with you. I want you two to be pests. Look, I even have this woman with me and she wants to have fun too."
The woman was cover by her insect body and she had chopped off her head and threw it over where they are.
"You!"
"Now, now. You don't want to have this girl have her head off her body. Do you want to say anything?"
She removes her hand from her mouth.
"Help me please."
Benimaru couldn't say anything. He looks down.
"Benimaru."
"Shut up Roki. I can't save her."
"What? What are you talking about? She right there."
"Look again."
Roki looked again and see that her eyes were gone.
"What? But we could have."
"No, we couldn't."
"I see. We are useless when it comes to death."
"Yeah, we are."
"What is are going to do now." She was laughing at them.
Roki got up and he said, "Benimaru, let kill this woman or thing."
"There you are. I was wondering when you were going to get mad at me." She smiles and Roki was looking at her with such rage but Benimaru was there to make sure they don't die.
