Chapter 24 The Heartless Monster and The God of Storm
Roki had daze toward the woman and she dodges his attack.
"You call that an attack."
She was laughing but then Benimaru had covered his hands up with fire and then she dodge that too.
"Damn, she too fast."
Benimaru was trying to keep up but he couldn't due to her movement and there she crawls out from the building and into the open space.
"This is something that I have never seen before."
"What are you talking about?"
"She going outside in the opening and out there we have an advance against her."
Benimaru thought they would have the upper hand but that wasn't the case.
"What is this?"
They were shocked by the city was in another space and they notice that they were in big trouble.
"This isn't looking too good."
Benimaru had moved over to where they are safe.
"You got any plans."
"No, not really but do you have a plan."
"I wouldn't be asking you if I have a plan."
"No need to be rude."
"Okay."
Benimaru look up and notice that there was silk everywhere they were at and Benimaru wanted to use that against her.
"Listen, Roki, I have a plan to make this curse to be easy for us to defeat."
"What that?"
"First, we must get her to trap in her silk, and only then."
"Only, what?"
She was above them and they ran across to the other area.
"You can't go nowhere in here. I hear all and see all."
"Dammit, this isn't looking too good."
"You already said that."
"I know."
Benimaru had slash the silk that was hanging on the buildings with his fire hand and he put up a firewall.
"Okay, we can't talk while we in here and so the plan is nothing."
"Nothing."
"Yes, nothing."
"What? We got to come up with something."
"Yeah, maybe so but there is always a time to be patient and wait and also time to strike."
"You must be in this situation before."
"Well, you can say that."
"Oh."
Roki had a lookup and then he took off one way and Benimaru took off another way and Benimaru was catching on.
"I see. We get her to follow one of us and then the other attack her."
"That won't work!"
She spilled her body in half.
"Damn curses."
Roki had look at a girl with empty eyes on the ground and then dodges her body and the next body but the curse had step all over her. Roki got angry after seeing her have no respect for the dead.
"You monster."
"I don't care about those weak humans. I care about myself and for myself."
"And that is your biggest downfall."
"How so?"
"You use humans but there are good in them."
"You give them too much credit."
"Of course, I see how humans can get when they are scare and also fear of the unknown."
"But we don't have to pay for them because they are afraid."
"That is why it is our job to make them feel fearless."
"It is not our jobs to help those who fear us. Because they will kill us early in the future due to our power."
"Yes, but what comes with power is understanding what to do with that power."
"What do you know about such things?"
"I don't."
"Then why are talking to me about such things that you have no knowledge about. Those humans are nothing more but a mindless beast. They rape me and kill me just because they were scared of my power on what I could do to them but that wasn't enough for them. They had to touch me with their dirty hands and dirty look and rape me on the ground. Do you know how that feels?"
"No, I don't."
"Then there is no way that you and I can understand each other."
Roki was silent.
"What? Why are you quiet?"
"I don't know."
"See, you humans are all the same."
"I not human. I am a fallen or demon or a mix between two."
They stop and Roki looks at her in the eyes.
"I am a fallen demon that never has really have a home after my family got killed but I just learn before coming here is that my brother was still alive and I have a chance to help him in a way I can but I don't know-how. I got the whole universe thinking I will destroy the world in the future but I won't because I got something else I must do besides that."
"What is that?"
"That is helping how many people I can."
"Why are you not scare of me anymore?"
"Roki!" Benimaru said while running.
"I did not scare off people that are hurt but I do believe that there is a little good in everyone but they only need to see the light and run away from darkness. I don't know If I can help you with that but I do believe that there is always something I can do even if it just something so little."
She smiles.
"This kid is something that is not a human or a god but a ray of a sun."
She didn't have must longer due to her having a big hole in her chest and their Roki see that it was a man with a black and white sword but the sword looks short but also have it middle of it depart of the handle.
"Roki!"
He looks over at Benimaru.
"That is Susanoo."
"It looks like I have what I am looking for."
Roki got out his sword but he couldn't because his arm was chopped off and he screams and he holds it.
"Dammit!!"
"You is hard to find but wherever curses are at. I knew I could find you."
"Wait, Susanoo-sama."
"What do you want?"
"Please, don't harm him."
"What did you just say to me?"
"Please, he is at what you think Susanoo-sama."
"Mmhh."
Roki was just holding his arm but he didn't want to get caught and so he regrew his arm back and he had charged in front of Susanoo and attack him.
"What the heck?"
Roki was on the side of him then and attack him but Susanoo had to hold his ground.
"You surely is fast is you."
"You won't hurt me or Benimaru."
"Okay then let see if you can take me on and if you win then I will help you get out of here."
"I accept the challenge."
"Okay then fallen demon."
