[Day 3... But things were getting juicy...]
Abruptly, a little shit of a fairy came between their faces with arms wide and palms pointed up towards them, causing Kylie to step back while turning her head to the side with a blush and for Abel to give Omi a death stare.
"Don't look at me like that! We are out in a corridor, in the open, where a zombie, creature, or even possibly a human could attack us!
So why don't we find this lounge and then continue with all this lovey-dovey nonsense, hmph!" Omi said with an angry look on her face that Abel assumed it was because he wasn't thinking of his safety until she turned her head to the side like Kylie while also blushing and harrumphing at the end.
This made Abel realize that she might be jealous, so like any idiot who can't understand girls, he asked, "Omi, are you, maybe, jealous of what was going to happen?"
Like a switch getting flipped, everything turned dark for Abel, and two huge eyes appeared, one green and one black with vertical pupils, radiating what he assumed to be killing intent for what felt like days but was merely a millisecond for Abel.
When things became normal once again, all he could see was Omi staring at him, pouting with her normal green and black eyes that had normal circular pupils.
"Uhm, haha... Let's just continue going to the lounge while keeping a lookout for anything on the ceiling that might ambush us like earlier." Abel said with an awkward laugh while cold sweat dripped down the back of his neck from what he had experienced earlier.
He remembered that Omi was just as old as the crystal in his chest, which she had said was the only Chimerical object in existence, causing even more cold sweat to pour down his neck as he realized that he had just indirectly asked an existence so old and powerful if she liked him.
Stiffly turning to his right to continue going forward as the little monster of a fairy went 'hmph!' and sat on Kylie's shoulder instead of making him feel even worse from potentially hurting her feelings and also from not knowing what to expect from her when she potentially regains the use of her full powers.
You know, she might actually obliterate the poor guy for his assumptions.
'I won't do that to the holder of this crystal; also, you are my favorite transmigrated human that I have met.
Kylie is my favorite human, though, with her shyness towards affection and anything romantic and her oblivious attitude towards things that aren't normal around her. She is much cuter than you will ever be, umu, umu.' Omi said within Abel's head, like these were all facts that she was stating while nodding at the end.
Her words, though, made Abel pause with a blank face covered with black lines. Realizing that Omi was probably listening to his thoughts this entire time with the link they shared through the strange crystal in his chest.
"Haaa..." With a sigh, he carried on walking forward towards the lounge, occasionally lifting his head to look at the ceiling.
While looking at the ceiling, he would occasionally spot a cockroach suddenly stop on the ceiling whenever he spotted one. On the fifth time spotting a cockroach that still seemed to be coming from the exact same direction, Abel became somewhat suspicious of it.
Squinting at the little bug, Abel decided to use Appraise on it to sate his curiosity.

Abel's mouth was suddenly shaped as an O, his eyes wide open in disbelief at the cockroach that was stronger than he was as a Husk.
Omi and Kylie were startled at Abel, who had just suddenly stopped walking and was just staring at the ceiling with a weird face, though when Omi saw what he was looking at, she was both shocked and filled with schadenfreude at the same time.
Shocked because the little bug was definitely not a normal one, and schadenfreude because of how much stronger it was than Abel when he was still a Husk.
Abruptly bursting into tear-filled laughter at this situation and the shock on his face.
Coming back to his senses, Abel started to turn red from embarrassment at having been seen through by Omi, just deciding to ignore the roach and continue forward.
Omi was busy laughing at him while following, and Kylie was just looking between them in confusion because of the previous situation, which had made absolutely no sense to her, so she just decided to keep walking while staring at the roach following them, oblivious to the fact that it had the same intelligence as her.

[POV, Unknown Cockroach]
It was a normal day for the roach, who had no knowledge or thoughts and could only think of survival and eating on an instinctual level.
Currently, it was only eating a breadcrumb off of the floor when suddenly one of the giants exited one of the wood-covered nests.
Staring wearily at the giant and making itself smaller against the odd giant-made rock face, another six giants came from the right, making aggressive noises towards the lone giant, who seemed to have injuries from battling others.
All of this came to a stop as suddenly the giants in front of it started to look around as if another mean insect was nearby.
When they finally stopped looking around, some of them started to make weird noises while putting their top legs on the highest part of their bodies, where it had seen them put food before.
This stopped, but then a weird thing started to appear around it, making its whole body start to hurt, causing its world to go dark and the pain to disappear.
After a while in the darkness, there was a sudden urge to do something, like something else was guiding it somewhere.
Everything became bright again suddenly, though, so it thought it wouldn't be able to remember what that feeling wanted... wait, it thought, that was not possible before!
Suddenly new things started to appear in its mind, the things that the giants used to communicate now being known as words that it could understand.
It, or rather, she, was thinking of all of this when suddenly something moved to the left of her.
Looking over, she saw a dried-up body suddenly move, and that's when she felt that same feeling, drawing her to whatever it was, like there was a type of safety attached to it to follow it. So, she did...
