Chapter 14.

In a darkened yet visible room, there were multiple people sitting at desk. In front of them were screens which showed various video feed such as a man saving multiple people, an entire yacht pulling up, a man running on water and more.

"Uhm, guess I'll be the first to say it. That guy...isn't supposed to save them.." The one who spoke had short black hair, a thin mustache, faint beard and black pupils. He seemed to be in his 30's and wore clothes that were fitted for a space fantasy.

"Well, that IS what their technically supposed to do. We just didn't expect for a single man to save over 1,000 people. Its honestly...insane. Who's he again..?"

A random person had spoke. After he did, the screens changed to reveal a handsome young man with black hair that was in a pony tail and deep blue eyes like the depths of the sea.

"Nolan Kent. Son of Vice president, Jennifer Kent, and Nolan Kent, a hero who was previously injured in a battle. His quirk is called, Justice, and from what we know, he can fly, is superhuman, can freeze things with his breath, and could use eye lasers.

These powers went unnoticed by everyone until he turned 15, where he announced his powers to the 'public' per say. Besides all of that, he's a normal kid. It's just that his power may even have greater potential than All Might and Stars and Stripes..."

Upon hearing that last part, a few became quite shocked. They didn't expect to hear that someone could have greater potential than some of the strongest beings on earth.

"Smart, Strong, a good leader... He has all the characteristics of being a model hero. He's like his dad in that sense. Remember when Nolan was rising up in the world and was said to be All Mights real rival?"

"Ah, I remember that. But, in the end, he decided to retire to have a family, leaving All Might with the title of strongest hero. Some speculate that he only retired to boost All Mights ego.."

"Boost it? Yeah, don't get ahead of yourself. He got caught lacking by a random villain and had his arm taken off. He now resides in China where he's trying to find his purpose in life again."

The room went silent for a bit as they continued watching Nolan on the screen. They had rewound some footage of him flying around, only to see a blur. "Should we...call in Stars? She can take him under her wing and train him."

"She is indeed available right now. We could probably have her come to the school in just a few days.."

"Well, let's just keep watching and seeing how things will go. This next challenge will surely tell us who's truly a hero, whether they have the heart of one or the strength..."

They all nodded and started watching the screens once more, holding off on calling Stars and Strips til later.

Looking down from the helipad, Nolan saw the faces of relieved people. They were happy about the fact that they were saved and could see the next day now. 'An anti-hero..? Is that...what I am? Is that what I'd be preferred as..?'

Nolan liked to save people, but he obviously couldn't save everyone. A true hero would probably go insane if they knew they couldn't save everyone, but as for Nolan, he just shrugs it off.

'Everyday, I hear countless things. The sound of people dying. People becoming heartbroken. Even when people are getting raped. I hear and sort of feel all that agony they produce.

Yet, I don't do anything to save them. I can't do anything to save them. That's not my fault however, so I don't usually pay any attention to it. This situation is different however as the people who are in need of saving are right in front of me.

I know my capabilities and they were telling me that I could accomplish such a rescue mission..' Also, he didn't want a repeat of what happened when he was six. He didn't want people to die right in front of him when he could obviously do something about it.

'The only reason why I truly decided to come to this school was to make mom and Lily happy. They know that with my power, I could seriously make a change in how the world revolves.

I may not be able to live up to that hype, but I will make them proud. I'll make all of those who've helped me proud..' As he thought that, Diana had landed in front of him, only to begin speaking.

"Are you okay, Nolan..?" Nolan slowly looked up at her. Her beautiful face, yellow glow around her figure, had made her seem like the Goddess she was.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine.." He said while looking away. For some reason, it was like he was meeting her for the first time again which caused him to blush.

"Is everyone else okay though? They look fine, but you never know.."

"Yeah, they should be good. We told them that we'll be giving them a free ride to the island which cheered a lot of 'em up."

"Oh, I see. Well then, I'd say we accomplished our mission. Thank you Diana for helping me out.." A bright smile came her face as she began walking towards him. "Hey Nolan, do you know what I love most about you..?"

Once standing in front of him, she wrapped her arms around his neck while he wrapped his around her waist. "Is it my strength? Looks? I...don't really have much going on for me to be honest.." As he sighed, she kept smiling.

"Nope.." She said while getting close to his ear. "What I love most about you...is the fact that you can be yourself. The other guys put up an act to hide their real selves, but you, you never hide how you feel. It's what makes you,..you.."

Every word that she said danced throughout his being. Her words had blocked out any other thoughts and only left the ones of love.

'But,...she's wrong. I'm the biggest faker...out of everyone here. I lie to all of you, put up a false image as well. In all honesty, I don't deserve to have friends like you guys..'

To hide the expression he made, he brought her into his chest while rubbing on her back. "Thank you.." Though he tried to hide it, hearing such kind words from her had made a tear fall out from his eye. "Thank you...for always being so kind to me. I love you, Diana."

Though love was a strong word, he went over 20 years without knowing it or its meaning. 'She doesn't know how much I cherish her. She doesn't realize how important she is to me..' Diana hugged him back while burying her face deep into his chest.

"I love you too, Nolan. I always will and I've always have.." Nolan kissed the top of her head while whipping away his tears. The two stayed like that for a while as the boat began to set off towards the island.

"N-Nolan,..not here.." Diana's cheeks turned red as she shook her head. "Sorry. It's too soft.." Nolan had copped a feel as his hand felt attracted to it. "Jeez...you're so dirty. I guess I'll have to postpone our little date on the island for a bit longer now.."

She undid her grip on him and turned around while crossing her arms. "Wha-? N-No, don't do this to me. Diana, c'mon..." He cried out as she started walking away, leaving a distressed Nolan to put his head down. 'Great. I ruined my chances of getting some..'

He sighed and started lying down. Looking up at the sun, he stared at its radiant golden glow. 'Oh well. Guess rushing things isn't always the best. Besides, we're being tested right now. I shouldn't have such thoughts..'

Just then, he had remembered what her breast felt like when they were plastered onto his chest. 'Hmm...' He looked ahead and figured, '3 hours. Yeah, 3 hours until we reach the island. This yacht does have sound proof rooms, right..?'

And like that, he got up, walked in the opposite direction away from everyone, grabbed a towel and went to one of the sound proof rooms. From there, he...
