Reincarnated As A Kryptonian.

Title explains everything. Guess I should say my character will be based in certain verses. Nah, lemme rephrase that. My character will be set in a universe then when the time is right, he'll travel to different verses. Or if he wants too.

Standing on the beach of a seemingly empty island, over a thousand people stood. Some stood out while others were greyed out, meaning their a side character.

"Yo, that was so sick bro! The way you wooshed around, saving all of us was amazing man! Good stuff.." Nolan looked to his left at the voice. Who he saw was African American mixed in with Hispanic blood. He had average height and a long yet slender figure.

Black hair, bushy brows, and wide black pupils. "Uh, thanks. You were on my plane, no?" Nolan extended his hand out towards him which was immediately taken by the kid. "Yep! The names, Miles. Miles Morales. Nice to meet you..?"

"Nolan. It's nice to meet you as well.." The two shook hands then let go. "But yeah, thanks. Your friend saved us back there and took us to safety. I don't know how we'd repay you.."

Nolan nodded while looking away. "You're thanking us for something that's normal. Of course we'd save you. Aren't we all heroes here..?" After he said that, the island started shaking. 'Already..? Another test...' Multiple people had thought.

As people and trees fell over, something started emerging from the ocean. Everyone had turned to look at the blackness that was slowly coming up from the waters. "It's good to see that...every single person made it. Congratulations.."

The blackness fully emerged to reveal a stage with a person on it. You could only see his body as his head was disoriented. The people began to murmur while some hurled out insults at the person.

"You could have killed us, bastard!"

"Why are you people doing this to us?! We weren't told about a test of this caliber!"

"You'll be hearing from my father!"

The man on the stage sat down in a holographic chair and smiled. "Welcome, future heroes. This is the island of X. For some, it'll be a training ground while for others, it'll be the obstacle that keeps them from entering our school.."

By its speech, one could guess that it was a pre-recorded message. That being said however, some people still couldn't figure this out and continued bashing the hologram. The hologram in mention continued speaking though.

"For your next challenge, half of you will pass while the other half will fail. The rules of the challenge is simple: No killing. Anything is allowed, but that. Now, before I forgot, let me say one last thing.."

The platform slowly started sinking. Everybody was confused as they didn't know what the actuall challenge was. Only the rules for it. 'But wait, only no killing..?' After thinking that, Nolan, like a few others who seemed to have figured it out, had their eyes widened.

"That's right.."

The hologram gave a sinister smile.

"A free for all. Good luck and most importantly, have fun.." The platform fully submerged back into the water.

Some people wasted no time and left to hide in the jungle. Others were left flabbergast as this was the last thing they'd think the challenge would be.

"U-Uhm, a free..for all? That means.." Miles gulped with visible sweat bullets forming on his forehead.

"Nolan! What are we going to do?!" His group of friends arrived next to him with slightly worried expressions. "Well, every man for themself, right? Just be sure to be in the 500 that makes it.."

Nobody retaliated, only nods could be seen. Bruce and Oliver decided to form a team and left off. Barry, Billy and Hal formed one too and left.

Diana was the only one to stay. "Will you be okay, Nolan?" Upon seeing her, every guy that was still on the beach had turned around and covered their crotch. "I'll be fine. If anything, we can all just fly above the island. We'd be safe then, huh?"

Diana smirked as a sword appeared on her back. Pulling it out, she said, "We could, but...where's the fun in that..?" She jumped off, leaving a small crater in the sand. 'I guess...she's right. Might as well have some fun while I can. I wonder who can take a hit..?'

Looking at Miles, he said, "Good luck. Don't be left out of the top 500..." Before Miles could turn around, Nolan had flew off, leaving the people on the beach to blow back into the water from the pressure Nolan produced when flying. 'G-Good luck?! He already took 'bout half of us out...'

Miles groaned while coming out of the water and spitting some out. 'But, I can't be left behind! Not when I have someone to impress..' And like that, a white string sprung out from his wrist and latched onto a tree.

'We all have someone...we wanna make proud...'
