Ancient Egypt?…Part 1

Stopping my footsteps, I take a moment to admire the scenery before me "I-it's….beautiful" Tanuki tilts its head along with chicken, wondering what got on her mind that a wasteland was beautiful to look at.

For them, all they can see is a lifeless place with sand that seems to stretch behind the horizon.

Feeling my companions gaze I sigh at their ignorance "Looks like I must teach you why I called this land beautiful" first and foremost "When there's a dessert that seems livable then you must hold on to the possibility that people live here" number two "Second, look over there"

Following where I pointed my finger, they see a massive building made from stone proudly standing and enduring the harsh winds with Sphinxes build around it.

"That's a pyramid with Sphinxes surrounding it, meaning Egypt, meaning females dressed like Egyptians in lewd clothing with dark skin!" I ignore their gaze as I start drooling of such thoughts.

Right, how did we get from a perfect land to a dessert? Well....I got tricked, fell into a trap that my daughter(?) managed to at least disrupt it enough to change coordinates and that's how we're here.

"Speaking of her…I haven't given her a name even though we had a month long sex marathon" I can't help but feel proud that my own daughter(?) can outlast me by a lot. "What name should I give her? Mhmm…."

Growl

Hearing Tanuki I turn and see the place he's growling at. A giant of a monster with thick brown fur, two giant tusk that may as well rend the earth apart, along with it standing ok it's hind legs enough to let it tower over mortals.

"Tanuki" his stomach growls with hunger clearly presented in his eyes, even Big D joins in "Not you too…fine, we'll hunt it done like we hunted other animals, happy" Tanuki nods.

Like that we charge like brave fools, Tanuki enveloped I'm lighting Qi, boosting his speeds to ludicrous degrees, Big D sailing the wind while clucking his war cry, and finally me, with four tails out I envelope my claws in demonic energy to tear out at the food before us.

The giant beast turn to us and in fury roared, such was its might roar that the very winds churned.

"Sack of shit, do you know how hard it will be to rid myself of this much sand!" I yell out in righteous anger, not only would the sand get stuck in my hair but also my fur.

Ignoring me, the beast charges at us, intent on making us it's meal, sadly for it, we're professional Monster Hunters.

With eye sight alone me and Tanuki convey our will and plan, we nod as he speeds up even faster, lighting flash before he appeared behind it, claws ready, Tanuki shoved his hand into its ass and discharges all of the electric Qi he can muster.

With its roar of pain I slash its both of its eyes with my claws before using fox fire on it.

"Cluck!" Big D uses the surrounding wind, shaping it into a raging tornado of sand with wind blade shaper than any sort of man made steel, and with a glorious cluck does he let it loose upon the blinded foe.

"…shit, we need to move!" Hearing my voice Tanuki gets back up and start evacuating from the area, not wanting to be in it's blast radius I fall back as well.

As we back away a roar is heard before an explosion resounds, shockwaves of wind with a downpour of sand drown its wail and resentment.

"Ugh, the meat better be worth the trouble" glaring at its corpse we start inching closer and see Big D gloriously standing atop its bisected body, oozing pride of a majestic bird of the Heaven's!

Without waiting Tanuki pounced on it, tearing it's hide to eat it's fleshy insides. Sighing, I decide to indulge in eating like this, an act that I haven't done since being worshiped.

Using Qi to enhance myself, I tear a good chunk of meat and take a bite at it, slowly savoring its taste before gulping it down with a smile.

Smell? Taste? Did you forget I survived like this in a forest with Tanuki for Months?

Taking another bite I nod at Big D to eat it with us, since let's be honest, it's fucking delicious!

"Ahhhh~ what good food, wouldn't you say, Tanuki, Big D?" A cluck and growl answer me as I put away the monsters core into my space ring.

As for its bones? I stored them as well.

Now then, what to do now? We've beaten and eaten a wild monster.

What to do now? Feeling my fox ears twitch I quickly conceal them with illusions and decide to wait for the arrival of someone.

"Tch, here I thought I heard the roar of a Bethoman" wow…shitty name "You, have you seen one?" He asks me.

"By chance does it have huge horns and thick fur?" His eyes gleam with barely concealed joy.

"Yes! That's the one I'm looking for, do you know it's whereabout?" I shrug.

"You just missed it, it's been killed by my hands" at my words he looks around and notices that blood is still splattered around making my claim much more credible.

"Hmph, like I'll believe a little girl like you can kill one" ....

Taking out a pipe, I lit it up and take a few seconds to enjoy it before looking back at the man arrogantly standing before me.

Letting my Qi flow freely I watch as he snorts before unleashing his own, one that surpasses mine in sheer quantity, as for quality? It leaves much to be desired.

"Not bad for someone so young" he mutters. "Tell you what, you let me keep the bones and core and I'll let you keep the body, how does that sound" smoking from my pipe I answer back.

"The meat? My spirit beasts devoured it" he grows crestfallen once he hears that Tanuki and Big D ate it all up. "By the way, do you know where a nearby town or city is?" That gets him to stop moping.

"Mhmm, by your clothes I wager your a traveler that's new right?" I nod "There's a city called Oasis that's not far from here, all you have to do is keep going west and you'll find it" with that he leaves to go hunt down some beast like a proper hunter.

"Speaking of Hunters" I look up towards the sun and praise like a true sun bro before moving on in this desolate wasteland.
