Character Creation [Part 5]

"T-this, i-s… is she real?" Austin couldn't believe there was such a beautiful woman in the world.

On the monitor, the Character Creation Form had disappeared, replaced by a picture of a woman seductively lying on a red heart-shaped bed.

She possessed long, blonde hair cascading down to her… *Gulp* thighs, framing an oval face adorned with soul-piercing green eyes. Tucked behind her hair were two pointed ears which initially caused discomfort and pity from Austin before their otherworldly charm became apparent to him.

"To think alien women were so hot." He commented while he continued to 'analyze' the woman 'to better understand the Races in his next world'.

... Information was vital in war.

Her porcelain white skin and curves were accentuated by a tight-fitting white crop top, a blue skirt, and legs wrapped in see-through black stockings, leaving her legs on full display for all to admire.

...And oh boy, did he admire those legs.

*Gulp*

Austin gulped as his gaze lingered on those beautiful long legs clad in black see-through stockings.

"Damn, my weakness." He muttered under his breath, his gaze still fixated on her legs. "Why are her legs so... Heavenly?"

If God wasn't next to him, he would have started his one-finger calisthenics.

The divine woman from earlier was breathtakingly beautiful but toward her, he felt no lust, but this woman… made his little brother twitch in excitement.

Just to be safe, he looked down and sighed in relief after not seeing the Eiffel Tower.

'Haah, thankfully, you aren't standing to attention. We won't be going to war for a while, so sit tight, bud…One day.' He paused, his tone turning bitter, 'We will wage a war… for about… ten seconds.'

"Hehehe, what do you think young man? Ulric was quite happy with himself, it seemed he found a like-minded friend, "Am I still the Pervert God?"

"..." Austin was unsure how to respond. The old man was a hundred percent a pervert. But could he say that to his face? Austin was unsure… the old man was just too unpredictable. What if he changed his mind?

Therefore, he remained silent.

Though… the woman was beautiful.

Ulric's eye twitched as he muttered, "Don't worry, you will understand soon."

He then continued with a big, excited smile.

"Well then, what are you waiting for? Spin the wheel! I want to see what you get. If you are lucky, you might even land on a Progenitor."

Austin suspiciously looked at the old man's surprisingly enthusiastic, giddy expression.

He narrowed his eyes with suspicion.

"Why are you so enthusiastic all of a sudden?"

He paused and added, "Also, what about the other Races? You didn't explain anything…"

"How can I not be excited?"

Ulric's smile widened with the same giddiness in his voice, he asked, completely ignoring Austin's second question, "Young Austin, have you gambled before?"

Austin clicked his tongue in annoyance. The old man just did what he wanted, said what he wanted, and answered what he wanted.

"... No!" Austin responded with a deadpan expression, "Do I look like a rich person, who has enough money to squander on something stupid like gambling?"

Ulric looked into the reflection of the microcomputer, and after seeing the young man's scrawny, sickly body, he coughed.

"No…" He said awkwardly, "But it's not too late to start gambling. Also, who said you can only gamble with money? You can use your own life… well, more like your next life as the stake."

Austin shivered in fright and then gulped.

"Y-your… sick!"

Ulric chuckled, not minding the young man's words one bit.

"Anyway, spin the wheel. Even if you do not land on a Progenitor Race, you might still get a Progenitor Bloodline."

He paused and muttered under his breath"...There are also weaker Bloodlines."

*Sigh*

Austin sighed tiredly, he was convinced the old coot finally lost it. Without even turning his head back, from the reflection of the monitor he could see the excitement in the old man's eyes.

"Haah… What do you mean by Progenitor and Progenitor Bloodline?" Austin, inquired, hoping he could get an answer without being teased in return.

His face then darkened.

"Also… I heard what you said about weaker Bloodlines. Explain that too."

Ulric cleared his throat and the excited expression he had before morphed into seriousness.

Austin gulped nervously as he waited for the old man to speak. He knew whenever the old man got serious, the topic of discussion would be important.

"Progenitors are Beings who are the Beginning of Race of Rulers. They possess the best Talent and Unique Abilities. They are capable of-" He paused while frowning, his black irises turned golden and a moment later changed back to their normal color. However, his frown lingered.

Austin remained silent, confused by the pause and the old man's reaction.

'What just happened? Did he forget? I know he's old, but surely, I wasn't correct in my assumption of him being senile, right?'

After a while, acting as if nothing had happened, Ulric continued without explaining the reason for the pause, "You can think of Progenitors as the ancestors of a Race."

"Whereas, a Progenitor Bloodline is a Bloodline that is passed on by the Progenitor via procreation. As a result of the Bloodline, the Progenitor's descendant will be strong; however, they will never possess the same Talent and Abilities that are solely exclusive to the Progenitor."

Ulric paused, reached his right hand into the bucket of popcorn, and threw some more popcorn into his mouth after chewing and swallowing, continued.

"As for weaker Bloodlines… haah, you probably don't want to know."

With shining eyes, he pointed to the colorful spin wheel on the monitor.

"I know that was quite a lot, if you have any questions, ask, if not, spin that wheel!"

'You barely answered…'

Austin ignored the old man's… quirks.

"Does that mean if the wheel doesn't land on a Progenitor Race, then I'm screwed?" Austin hoped that was not the case, knowing his god-awful luck, he would land on the weakest Race.

Ulric nodded, immediately causing Austin to feel like the world was spinning.

It seems the MC's preferences have come to light... or the darkness?

Heh, dark joke... wait, I'm the author, how can I make dark jokes?
