Chapter 32 - Victor versus Lilly, Part 1

A tall, handsome young boy with a lean body wearing a purple V-neck shirt with black trousers, black cowboy boots, as well as an open black trenchcoat that extended past his knees, walked to the stadium from the right. There was also a dagger sheathed and hung to his left hip, while a sword likewise to the right.

Victor did not utilize his nano suit this time, instead, he simply wore regular clothes, albeit a different look. The battles were getting more and more intense, with higher chances for his attire to get damaged, even if he was overly powerful compared to the lot of participants.

Moreover, he was sure at some point, — may be in the finals, — he would be facing the magma bastard, and he did not want to fight him utilizing the nano suit morph shape into his clothes. After all, he was sure to get injured in that fight since he had decided to only use Haki and physique.

People would surely notice if his clothes were not being damaged, and that would attract attention. The kind of unwanted interest he would rather keep far, far away, as he had zero plans to share his alien secrets with anybody.

At the same time, a beautiful girl, a head shorter than Victor, walked from the left and stood opposite to him. She wore a full black long-sleeved shirt, green leather pants and black boots up to the knees. She had a weapon, a beautiful snow-white rapier tied to her waist.

They stood approximately three meters opposite from each other, eyes crossed, and one handheld on their weapons.

Lilly raised a brow, "Should I be honored?" She asked, while loud cheers echoed throughout the stadium.

Victor's name had now spread all over the Marineford HQ, while at the same time, Lilly also had amassed the same fame. Victor for his handsome appearance and powerful physique while Lilly, she had more male admirers, more even than Victor, Sakazuki, and Borsalino.

Victor cocked his head, to which, Lilly responded with, "You haven't used your weapon, not once in any of the previous battles."

"Ah… It'd be a waste not to see… Your kendo skills…" Victor responded, scratching the back of his head.

"Is that all?" she asked with a raised brow.

"No…" He answered vaguely, followed by a cheeky smirk.

"Are you flirting with me…? Here…? Now…?" Her lips curled up, not wanting to back down.

"I can't help it…"

"BEGIN!" The commentator's loud announcement rang, and the next moment Lilly's figure disappeared. With a *SORU*, she appeared in a blink, over Victor, her rapier swung halfway down overhead.

*CLANG*

Sparks flew, to weapons, a crystal while rapier and a dark purple Katana clashed, sending a small shockwave that made the commentator rear admiral take a half step back.

Victor gave a half-smile, holding the 'Rain' with his right hand while blocking the impact from Lilli's rapier.

Simultaneously, Lilly gave a stubborn expression, which, made her face glow even more to Victor, and the rest of the crowd.

Up in the audience stands, "Why's this kid doing that every match?" Garp asked with a bored expression, munching on a bunch of crackers.

"Of course, you wouldn't know…" Sengoku responded immediately followed by an annoyed expression, "Bastard! That better not be from my stash!!"

"Bwahaa…" Garp laughed it off, before asking in a little bit more serious tone, "Seriously. Why is he not ending the battles like Borsalino and Sakazuki?"

"He's purposefully letting us observe his opponent's combat level." It was Tsuru who answered.

"Uh… Why?"

"Because he's not a moron like you!" Sengoku yelled.

"Bastard… What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means Victor is considerate… Just shut up and watch…" Zephyr cut in, tired of his two friends bickering.

"Considerate?" Garp spoke, with a hand on chin. Of course, this bastard, had still failed to understand.

-Back at the battle ring.

With a tsk, Lilly jumped back, only to repeat *SORU* to appear from another direction.

In just a matter of seconds, Lilly executed *SORU* multiple times, and appeared from different directions while swinging her rapier. However, Victor skillfully blocked all her attempts, and with ease, while not taking a single step.

Lilly knew full well that she was no match for Victor, but, that doesn't mean she wasn't going to try her best. She was already happy that Victor used his weapon, something he had done for the first time since the competition began, but this wasn't enough for her.

She wanted to make Victor show a look of vigilance or at least make him take her attacks seriously.

All her attempts were futile. Victor was at a much, much higher level than she had previously anticipated, because while she was giving her 200%, Victor didn't even move a step.

With a humph, "Is that all you can do?" she tried to taunt Victor.

"Ah… No. I'm just mesmerized by your… Graceful Kendo… Yes, that's it."

Lilly took a moment to ponder, followed by a manic grin.

Victor narrowed his eyes, "What's this chick up too now?" he thought to himself.

Lilly executed another *SORU*

*SWOOOSHHH*

She appeared a meter from Victor, while her grin remained the same. Victor did not act and let her perform whatever she was up to.

Subsequently after the *SORU*, she leaped for a front flip, half a meter over Victor.

Their eyes met, Victor had his head raised, while Lilly had her position upside-down, just over Victor's head.

Lilly's empty hand moved, pinched the collar of her shirt and in the widening eyes of Victor, she pulled, exposing a big chunk of her cleavage, however, only to Victor's eyes, who was in direct line of sight.

"Crazy woman… I'll play her game" Victor thought, and deliberately lowered his guard.

Lilly who assumed her tricks had worked, pushed her rapier towards Victor's head.

Victor's reaction, in her eyes, was delayed successfully. She initially wanted to pin the tip of her Rapier to Victor's neck, and force him to give up, however, Victor dodged, — albeit not completely, — at the last micro-second.

Victor purposefully made everyone believe that her tricks worked, but, at the same time, showed that he could react even at a disadvantage.

To everyone's eyes, Victor avoided the stabbing rapier, however, not without a small cut on his left cheek.

Victor quickly backed three steps away from Lilly who had now landed from her forward flip. Their exchange took only a fraction of a second, but the trained eyes above saw everything that had happened.

I' have read a lot of novels here with smut that served zero purpose. They did not help the plot, they did not further anyone's characterization, and they did not expand on the setting or the world-building. They seemed to be there purely for titillation.

Therefore.

I will NOT be writing any sexually explicit scenes.

Even if there come legitimate plot reasons to include steamy sex scenes, I see no point in writing them.

In my opinion, it's perfectly reasonable to make it clear that my characters had sex, without describing the sex itself.
