Chapter 53

"Who are you? Did Master Enel bring you here?" The young girl with long blonde hair that reached her waist and a sweet voice gazed at Arthur with curiosity.

This girl is the daughter of the scientist who created solid gold, Olga, who appeared in the "Heart of Gold" storyline.

If I hadn't read the original story, I doubt anyone would have guessed that this young girl in front of me has lived for two hundred years and still looks the same as she did back then.

"I am the ruler of Skypiea, the divine Arthur. I am a celestial deity." Arthur didn't hide anything from the girl.

After all, Arthur planned to rescue both the father and daughter with solid gold. It's not hard to physically take them away, but earning their trust and cooperation is the real challenge. Therefore, honesty is essential.

"Huh?" Olga tilted her head, looking puzzled. Clearly, she had never heard of Skypiea or celestial deities.

"Ruler of Skypiea? A celestial deity? What is Skypiea? Is there really a race called celestial deities?" As she spoke, Olga bombarded Arthur with questions.

Arthur felt a bit overwhelmed dealing with such an inquisitive girl. He couldn't scold her or brush off her curiosity.

However, there was no easy way. If Arthur wanted the scientist to cooperate, he needed to earn the trust of the family first. Otherwise, even if he managed to take them away, their cooperation wouldn't be guaranteed.

So, Arthur led Olga, an unusually old-looking young girl, towards the third stomach of the giant creature.

"You mean there's still someone inside the dinosaur's belly?" The young girl's excitement rose as she pondered the possibility of finding her father in the third stomach.

"Yes," Arthur confirmed.

This led to more questions along the way. Eventually, the young girl became convinced that her father might indeed be in Master Enel's third stomach and expressed her desire to search for him.

"You mentioned you could help me find him? Weren't you here for the solid gold?" Arthur was bombarded with questions throughout their journey. He answered those he could and remained silent on the ones he couldn't.

However, this question fell into the answerable category. "Certainly, my primary goal is the solid gold, but finding your father is equally important. He's a skilled scientist, and as a ruler, I could use someone of his caliber."

"Ah," Olga nodded, despite her age of over two hundred years, she still retained a childlike essence.

Yet, despite her long life, she had been mostly isolated in the creature's first stomach, experiencing little change in her maturity. She remained childlike.

"How do you know that the solid gold is in the third stomach? And how do you know that the man is there? I've never seen him," the young girl's tone turned somber with her last question.

Despite her longstanding resentment toward her father for creating solid gold and causing her mother's death, familial bonds remained strong. Even after two centuries of separation, she deeply missed her father.

"I can sense it because of my Observation Haki," Arthur replied casually.

"What's Observation Haki?" Olga pressed on with her questions.

Arthur couldn't help but feel a headache. He regretted his impulsive decision and lack of foresight.

He could have gone straight to the third stomach for the solid gold, then found her father and used the excuse of locating Olga to reunite them. Instead, he chose to find Olga first.

"Argh!" Arthur muttered to himself, then continued to explain under Olga's puzzled gaze.

With things set in motion, Arthur led Olga to the third stomach. The delay was due to the immense size of the creature and the challenge of navigating it with a young girl in tow.

Upon reaching the third stomach, Arthur initially planned to retrieve the solid gold. However, he reconsidered. The gold wasn't going anywhere, but playing the emotional card might sway the scientist to cooperate.

Using his Observation Haki, Arthur locked onto the presence of a chubby scientist in a dinosaur suit, ensuring he couldn't escape.

The fat scientist, disguised as a meat-eating dinosaur, and a pack of tiny dinosaurs feasting suddenly noticed the eerie silence around them.

Moments earlier, Arthur had brought the young girl along, drawing the attention of the large dinosaur. However, Arthur's intimidating Conqueror's Haki gaze made the dinosaur flee with its smaller companions.

Alert to the unusual calmness, the fat scientist feigned satiation, swaying as if about to relieve himself, planning his escape.

"Hey, you! Fat guy in the dinosaur suit, don't try to run!" Arthur chuckled and called out to the goofy dinosaur.

The dinosaur froze, then comically withdrew its front paws from its oversized mouth, revealing a humorous, chubby face.

Despite the added weight and time apart, Olga instantly recognized her long-lost father in the comical disguise.

What followed was a heartwarming reunion scene as father and daughter reconciled misunderstandings about the scientist's motivations for creating solid gold.

With no lingering resentments, Olga hugged her father tightly, momentarily forgetting about Arthur, who stood by unnoticed.
