Arthur knew what was in the newspaper. Fleet Admiral Sengoku had informed him about it.
Now, he was just waiting for the Marine Six Styles to begin so he could practice it himself.
Although Arthur hadn't mastered it yet, he already had a development direction based on the various abilities shown in the original story.
Of course, all of this stemmed from the training methods of the Marine Six Styles. Perhaps he didn't have a natural talent for training in them.
While he waited, a warship arrived at Dengtian Island early on the third day.
Soon after, the Den Den Mushi rang, and Arthur picked it up. As expected, the Marines sent someone to deliver the Marine Six Styles. He instructed Naz to go out and collect the items.
The Marine Six Styles is a unique skill created by the Marines, which is why it's called the Marine Six Styles. The World Government, of course, wanted it for its own use.
This time, Arthur Lion was determined to acquire the Marine Six Styles. He hoped there would be no modifications or deletions in the materials.
Half an hour later, Naz rushed into the shrine with a book.
"God, this is what the Marine Lieutenant General asked me to give you!"
Arthur took the book and examined it. The cover was plain and unmarked, with nothing written on it. The contents only appeared after he opened it.
Glancing through it, he saw that the Marine Six Styles included Shaving, Finger Pistol, Tempest Kick, Iron Body, Paper Arts, Moonwalk, and the technique of Life Return, which Arthur was most interested in.
"This is amazing!" Arthur smiled. With this, even the regular soldiers could boost their combat abilities.
Moreover, the physical skills of the ten major legions could advance significantly, helping more individuals reach the level of major generals.
"God, what is this?" Naz asked curiously, noticing Arthur's excited smile.
He had been curious all along but had not opened the book himself; he had handed it directly to Arthur.
Arthur glanced at the Marine Six Styles without looking up and replied, "This is the Marine Six Styles!"
"What? The Marine Six Styles?" Naz exclaimed, his voice rising in surprise.
"The Marines actually sent the Marine Six Styles here! This... this is incredible! God, teach me!" Naz was thrilled, having heard of the Marine Six Styles.
These are the six unique techniques of the Marines. If someone could master all of them, they would become very strong.
Arthur shot Naz a look. "I'm just looking at it; I can't teach you..."
"Go back for now. I'll have someone copy this, and then you legion commanders can practice first and pass the training on to the War Angels! We must ensure that within two years, all members can perform the six techniques!"
"Yes! God!" Naz nodded excitedly, using his speed fruit ability to quickly vanish from the shrine.
"Now, let's see what this first move is about."
**Shave!** This technique requires precise control of the muscles and blood in the legs. By slightly altering the frequency and strength of the first nine stomps, the accumulated power is released all at once to achieve instant high-speed movement.
**Finger Pistol** involves partially hardening the Iron Body. Instantly, all the muscles and blood tighten, making the fingers nearly indestructible and allowing for control over muscle and blood flow.
**Iron Body** works similarly; the muscles are energized instantly, releasing power throughout the body and enhancing blood flow in a way akin to Shave, resulting in a steel-like hardness for short-term physical defense.
However, compared to Armament Haki, this technique is still much weaker.
**Paper Arts** allows the user to flow with the air currents during an opponent's attack, similar to a leaf blown by the wind. This technique may seem like a counter to Shave.
But it has clear weaknesses. It's difficult to use against fast enemies or ranged attacks, and the user cannot counterattack while employing Paper Arts.
Paper Arts and Iron Body are actually quite similar to two types of Haki.
Iron Body functions like Armament Haki but is significantly weaker and provides far less defense.
Paper Arts resembles Observation Haki, allowing the user to dodge attacks that manipulate air currents. However, against a supersonic attack, Paper Arts cannot evade, as even the air may not react quickly enough.
**Tempest Kick** involves high-speed kicking, where the user controls their muscles and blood to condense power, turning the air into a slash wave. The technique itself isn't too complex, but mastering it can be challenging.
**Moonwalk** allows high-speed movement through the air, almost too fast for the air to escape. In theory, if someone can step down and break the sound barrier quickly, they can achieve this.
This technique is a derivative of Shave, but it is listed separately.
While using Moonwalk, the sound and white smoke generated are so fast that they nearly break the sound barrier. Essentially, it uses the sound barrier as a pivot to move through the air.
At super high speeds, the air becomes dense, which is why Moonwalk enables movement in the air.
Overall, the six techniques are purely physical skills that appear simple but are extremely difficult to execute in practice.
Among them, the technique Arthur is most concerned about is undoubtedly the Life Return, which allows perfect control over oneself. Mastering this could lead to a significant boost in his strength.
The Life Return can be simply understood as controlling the body at the smallest level.
Every muscle and nerve can be moved freely, allowing for a complete return to life.
It sounds easy, but it's incredibly difficult! In the original story, only the creepy geisha man manages to use it.
After acquiring the Sixth Form, Arthur did not rush to practice immediately. Instead, he took photos of each page, copied a few, and sent them to the commanders of the Ten Legions.
This way, everyone could practice together and confirm each other's progress.
For Arthur, the only technique worth cultivating was the Life Return.
However, the description for mastering it is very vague. It states that mastering the six forms is necessary to gradually learn the Life Return.
Arthur wasn't sure if this was true. Regardless, he planned to practice the six techniques first; he wouldn't suffer for it.
Three days later, Arthur stood before an iron cloud.
"**Finger Pistol!**"
Arthur's fingers shot forward like bullets, easily piercing the iron cloud.
For ordinary people, successfully using Finger Pistol means being able to pierce stone. But Arthur wasn't ordinary; his physical strength was at 70% of Kaido's, which was no small feat!
"Hmm... the power is decent, but unless it's a derivative technique, this move won't be useful to me. I should practice the hardest one: Shave."
Arthur thought for a moment and decided to start with the most basic of the six techniques, focusing on Shave.
By mastering Shave, he could move at high speed to dodge attacks, even if his abilities were restrained.
Hmm... restrained abilities? This idea suddenly struck Arthur, and a bright light flashed in his mind.
"Perhaps… I can give it a try. If I do, then I won't have to worry at all!"
Recalling this sudden inspiration, Arthur began practicing the six Shaves.
**Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang~**
**Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang~**
**Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang~**
He kept stomping his feet repeatedly, as if trying to please the gods above. Practicing Shave felt a bit comical.
With each stomp, his control over his muscles and blood became more adept. At first, he could only manage short distances with Shave, but soon he began using it more frequently, and the distance increased.
Gradually, a week passed, and he had basically mastered Shave. Now, he could use it to move in any direction and at any distance.
Next, Arthur planned to practice Tempest Kick, which would be more useful for him.
After practicing Tempest Kick, Arthur knew he would need to take a break.
Recruitment for worldwide testing was about to begin.
Of course, Arthur wasn't worried about that. He needed to pursue his idea, which was to go to the moon.
With the help of those scientists, his chances of success would be much greater.
