Ch 8 : Young Lady Kaya

" Young Lady?"

When Nate heard those words, he knew that his plan had worked. However, he must not haste and get the other party to guard against him.

Merry heard Nate mentioning about Kaya, and his eyes were turning wet:

" Yes, young lady Kaya is a very nice person, but 2 years and a half ago, her parent has died, even though she inherited her father's mansion and wealth, she became ill and always refused to eat and get out...."

" And to make it worse.. that liar... he sneaks to the mansion and starts lying to the young lady... She is a naive girl, and that bastard can't be aiming for anything good..and those damn guards never caught him once."

Yup, Nate already got it good in his bag now. All he needed to do was to wait for a while and..

" Oh, that's right! By the way, Nate, how about you come with us to the young lady? I think the young lady would like your story very much!" Merry said with glimmers in his eyes.

For things like this, Nate was very familiar.

" Well... I don't think that's appropriate. I have never met young lady Kaya before, and for someone like me to suddenly enter her mansion-"

Nate was not able to finish his words when his hand was grabbed by Merry.

" You don't need to worry! I trust you, and if it's you, maybe you could get young lady Kaya's mood to be better!"

After that, Nate went with the servants to the mansion above the hill.

As he entered the mansion gate, Nate somehow was impressed by the mansion design.

A couple of guards welcomed them and allowed them to pass. In the main hall, as Nate was talking with the butler and how they would watch him for security matters. A man with glasses passed by them.

He was tall and slim, with a height about 209 cm. He had glasses on his face while his hair was black slicked.

209 cm in One Piece world was still considered normal, while in the earth where Nate belongs to before, 209 cm was already in the high-end of human's height.

Nate and the man kept eye contact for a while, but Nate quickly broke it off as he greeted the man.

' Captain of the Black-cat pirates, Kuro.'

His target in approaching Kaya's mansion was this guy but now was not the time yet.

Killing Kuro in front of everyone here was no go, and Nate needed to bring Kuro to a secret location first before killing him.

"Please wait here for a moment. I will inform the young lady." Merry said to Nate.

"Yes, I believe it is proper to inform the young lady first." Nate replied politely.

Merry then bowed to Nate and proceeded to leave Nate alone. He entered a room to make preparation.

"But Merry, I don't want to see or hear any stories. And I don't think it could help me in any way." a feminine voice filled the air.

"Please, young mistress, it's for your sake, besides his story is different from the usual story around here, and it somehow feels magical..... " replied Mary.

A few moments later. Merry came to invite Nate and some guards in. After all, even though Nate looked harmless, you can't trust a teen with a girl alone in a chamber.

Nate didn't bother with that and entered the room as per Merry's instruction. He knew that Kuro would not go anywhere, so he was not in a hurry.

As soon Nate entered the room, his eyes fell on the woman who was sitting in the bed. She looked 15 years old. She was a slim and pale-skinned girl with blonde hair and has wide brown eyes.

'Well, all hail Oda-Sensei. Every woman in One Piece world is either ugly as hell or a superb beauty. Luckily, the first one I met is a super pretty girl, and cute above that, ' Nate thought inwardly.

"Merry, is this him? " Kaya said as she stared at Nate.

When Merry explained things to her, she had expected some sort of old man. But on the contrary, a teen who looked not much older than her appeared.

The teen's face was pretty good, and for Kaya, who had only seen Ussop for a long time, she couldn't help but think that Nate was handsome and attractive.

Kaya incidentally blushed a bit, and it attracted Nate's eyes.

' Pretty... such a pretty and cute woman.. Oda, you have sinned for letting this girl be with Ussop..'

" It's him," Merry said with a smile.

He moved to the side as he gave Nate space to tell his story. Just watching Nate's reaction when he saw Kaya, Merry already knew that Nate had no bad intention.

Call it intuition, But Merry could see that Nate was not someone who would harm such a weak girl.

"Excuse me...what are you going to *cough* *cough*, " Kaya said.

Nate heard Kaya coughed, and he felt his heart pained. Little by little, determination began to gather in his mind to cure this pitiful girl.

"Do you know magic?" Nate said as Honedge suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
