Chapter 29 - Adventure and Devil Fruit?

Waking up before sunrise has become my daily routine at the Isshin Dojo. I'm always ready to train, aware that my strength may be sufficient in the East Blue, but if I plan to step into the Grand Line or the New World, I am still far from being adequate. Suddenly, a wild beast, resembling a large tiger, emerges from the bushes. Its eyes are filled with hunger and the desire to devour its prey. Fearless, I am prepared to face this fierce creature.

In an instant, I draw my sword from its sheath and get ready to fight.

My attacks are fast and accurate. I fight with agile movements and sharp reflexes. The tiger tries to pounce on me, but I manage to dodge it with my reflexes, seeing an opportunity, I strike it right at the neck, instantly beheading the tiger.

After defeating the fierce tiger, I butcher its meat, thinking it will be my lunch later.

After finishing my lunch preparations, I continue my journey through the forest. I follow the sound of rushing water, which is getting closer.

Finally, I discover a swiftly flowing river in the middle of the forest. The water is clear and fresh. I take the opportunity to refresh myself after the exhausting battle.

As I follow the stream of the river, I suddenly notice something that catches my attention. Amongst the lush trees, there is a large cave.

The cave is covered by dense vegetation and surrounded by large trees. It exudes a mysterious aura that piques my curiosity.

Crawling through the tight gaps between the thick trees, I finally enter the dark cave. The limited light enters through the small gaps in the leaves above. I walk slowly and carefully, remaining alert to anything that may be inside the cave.

With a curious heart, I continue exploring the cave, unraveling its mysteries before me. Each step takes me deeper into uncharted territory untouched by humans.

However, luck is not always on my side.

Unexpectedly, a giant snake suddenly slithers out from behind a rock and approaches me with its mouth wide open, filled with venomous fangs. Its large body and shiny scales demonstrate its strength and ferocity.

Quickly, I dodge before the snake reaches me, already prepared for battle. I firmly grip my sword and prepare to face this giant snake. Its attacks are deadly, attempting to coil around me and bite with its sharp teeth.

I swing my sword, cutting through the air with sword slashes, successfully severing its body. The snake spills blood from the wound. The snake becomes even more enraged, its attack pattern becoming more brutal and fierce. Dodging becomes increasingly difficult in the narrow cave terrain.

After a long and exhausting battle, I finally defeat the giant snake. My breath is heavy, and my body is covered in scratches and wounds. But a feeling of victory and satisfaction fills me.

I take a moment to rest, regulating my breath and recovering my energy, fearing another attack from a wild creature within the cave.

After resting, I continue my exploration in the cave, filled with mystery, with a growing sense of excitement and determination.

Suddenly, my eyes are drawn to a shimmering light reflecting off the surface of the rocks around me. I approach the area and am amazed to find several rough diamonds scattered among the rocks. Their brilliance is captivating, radiating the luxury and beauty of nature.

Carefully, I collect some of the diamonds I managed to find. I realize how valuable these treasures are and think that they might provide some advantages for my future journey.

However, that's not the only surprising discovery. As I carefully navigate the cave, my eyes are drawn to a fruit lying on the ground. The fruit has a peculiar shape, with a beautiful circular pattern and a captivating dark red color.

Curiosity fills me as I pick up the fruit and examine it closely. I have never seen a fruit like this before.

But I can be almost certain of what fruit I am currently holding—the Cheat from the world of One Piece. It is a unique fruit that grants the consumer extraordinary powers, depending on the type of fruit they eat. With a pounding heart, I carefully store the fruit. I know that my adventurous journey is far from over, and this cave has only revealed a fraction of the many secrets hidden in this world.
