Chapter Forty : Gone
Ella, Zen and Alex came out of the pack house hastily. Wolves were making ruckus outside.
"What happened?" Ella asked worryingly.
"My child is gone," a lady came forward crying.
"We can't find them. There is no trace of them anywhere," another man came forward and explained.
He was a beta. The lost children were also betas.
"But how can this be possible? If they were abducted, someone must have seen them. Were they out there alone? Also it is not possible to abduct betas this easily without leaving any trace behind even though they are children," Ella said.
"Did you search for them?" Zen asked the beta.
"Yes, alpha. We have already looked for them. Moreover they just disappeared from near the pack border," the guy said again.
"Pack border!" Alex was beyond shocked. "What were our petrols doing?" he asked.
