Ch 41 : Tunnel

"Tunnel?" Ella gasped.

She looked at Alex. He was surprised as well. They were looking at each other clueless. Their whole team had fallen down in the tunnel as well.

Ella and Alex had explored the woods a numerous times in the past few months. But they had no idea such a tunnel could exist.

It was more like a trap laid on the ground. The tunnel looked long and it was completely dark as far as their eyes were going.

Alex looked up towards the opening from where they fell. That path was closed completely. And the wall was smooth and the ceiling was so high from the ground that it was impossible to climb there.

"Who made this tunnel here?" Alex paused and thought for a moment.

The team stopped taken aback. The missing wolves were no where in the sight.

"Seems like we can't go back," Ella said huffing.

Falling from the height had a big negative impact in her body. She kneeled down on the floor breathing heavily. Her pelvic muscles were cramping.
