As days passed Edna was treated badly by her foster mother and sisters as they blamed Edna for the death of her grandmother , but her foster father knew that she was very much innocent and the death was not her fault. Edna could sense that her father was a changed man and had her doubts on her grandmother's doing. He would always come talk to Edna like any caring father and often would stop by and ask if she had eaten, which he has never done in the past years.

Seasons changed and it was summer, Edna took a short break, where her thoughts led her to think about her not so stable future. When she closed her eyes, she heard it again "His voice". She could not come out of it for all she felt there in a different dimension was pain, suffering and loneliness. She heard him say "Ella my love, don't die on me" which made her gasp for air and she jolted back from her dreamland. She did not know who was suffering or even if it was true but finally, all she could feel was heartbreak.

She did not know who he was but all she wanted to do at that moment was to hold him in her hand , console him and simply be with him to ease out his pain. She thought to herself that it was just a figment of her imagination and nothing else. Little did she know that a pair of red eyes were watching her from afar and it finally said "The moment is finally here and our wait is over my sisters" followed by an evil hysterics. Edna who had no clue about this let out a deep breath and started her work. Who should inhale the air she breath but Edward, the helium of our story. He is a soon-to-be Alpha of the Emerald moon pack, a person adored by everyone in his pack and a strongest warrior. He was adored by everyone but especially women for his killer looks, who could blame him for being so attractive with hair so black, the Ravens could turn white with shame and eyes as blue as the deep seas and never the less a majestic aura surrounds him which even the Kings in heaven do not possess. He was really tough to break from the inside and outside for his feelings were buried deep inside him when he lost his mother, the Luna of the Blue crescent pack, in a battle with the neighbouring pack.

Edward and his father, the present Alpha did not talk to each other after the loss of their Luna, as his father's betrayal runs deep in his heart. The bond between mates forms the base of any werewolf mate bond but since his father broke it, it nearly killed his mother and caused her death. Edward though young stood with her in the battle where his father did not and fought alongside his mother. But even then Edward has never disobeyed his alpha nor lost his father's love, but they did not show it. All his father wishes was Edward to be the next alpha and to rule the pack which he was not ready at the present moment as he has deep secrets for him too.

Though it's been quite a long time, the pain of missing his mother has gone deep into his roots and the memory haunts him that he could not save her. But what troubles him a lot is that, he could not save her. He feels totally scared physically and mentally, though the scar in his hand is a small one but the scar in his heart and mind seems bigger which has not yet healed. All he wished was to see his mother's face again which is not possible as the Alpha has locked up everything belonging to the Luna on the third floor in their pack house. He has completely banned everyone from entering the room except for himself. It will only take minutes for him to destroy the door but he respects his Alpha's words and for so long never been reluctant towards his alpha.

There is one thing that calms him down "Her smile". He initially thought it was his mother's smile but as days passed his heart said it belonged to someone he doesn't remember or even doesn't exist. Deep in his dreams he sees her everyday but all he could register was her smile, never has he seen her face, for her smile reminds him of the first spring flower. But sometimes he hears her painful cries and she says to him "Until the end" which makes his heart really heavy. All he wishes at that moment is to go near her and protect her to whatever end may come, but often thinks it's just a dream.

Yes a dream where she said "We are mates".

Who is his mate? Where is she now? Why did she say until the end? Why did Alpha lockup Luna's belongings? Why did he betray her in the first place? Why did he not join her in the battle? Why did the voice in Edna's dreams say not to die? Why were those red eyes watching her? To whom did the voice refer to as sisters? Travel with me to know the answers.
