My Winsome Crony

It was a beautiful summer morning where the birds started to hum a beautiful song waking up the nature to start another beautiful day . In the midst of the village stood a cottage which was owned by a young and lovely couple who were expecting a baby. Indeed the love between them was so immense that even books could refer to them for verses of love. Suddenly the clouds started to turn dark despite being summer, ready to welcome the rain and the baby was ready to come as well. The couple waited and waited and finally a tiny cry was heard and the prettiest baby girl was born, who has indeed a remarkable history to remember.

The days ran faster and the couple cherished each and every moment with their baby girl and one day, when she was about one year old, her mother left her to play outside where she was greeted by a huge wolf. As soon as the mother saw this she shouted which made the wolf run away and no one has seen a wolf that big in the daylight but there are many rumours in the woodlands about these mysterious beasts. Though the mother was a little scared, the scarlet flower was very happy to see him. In fact she enjoyed playing with the beast for deep inside she knew it was none other than her uncle James , Alpha of the Blue Cresent Pack of the endless mountains and yes he is a werewolf.

From that day on she was protected from afar by her guardian werewolf and a white witch called Cia, who was a dear friend of her uncle. Despite the couple protecting her , there were many secret encounters between Edna and her uncle for he could never let her out of his sight. One night the couple heard their baby was trying to speak her very first word in her sleep but little did they know she was talking with her uncle who called her "Ella". Every time he visited her, he called her Ella and told her that everyone was waiting for her to return and always asked for her forgiveness for his mistake. The baby used to smile for everything which sank his heart even more.

The days passed too quickly and almost an entire year had passed and the couple had plans to visit their friends in the nearby town, but unfortunately their car met with an accident and none except Edna survived. The orphaned baby started crying and it was heard all over the place and who should come to her rescue- it was her uncle James and the white witch Cia. As soon as they reached Edna they sensed strong dark magic and concluded it was no mere accident. His wolf Jack was on the verge of range if something really happened to Edna.

It was only at that moment James realised Edna needed complete protectio. and not just a mere visit. But how can he protect her in the human world for he had an entire pack to protect in the woodlands. Just as he was thinking, he remembered about Gaya. She used to be his omega but now lives with the humans with her adopted son. He found his way to visit Gaya and handed over Edna to her and explained the entire situation to her. This made her realise how important she was to the werewolf world. He also made her take an oath to protect Edna at all costs.

With all these commotions, Gaya had only one request to her Alpha and was he should not visit Edna until the right time comes for the dark witches might sense her presence which could also be a great threat to Gaya's family. James had to oblige to her request because for him Edna's safety mattered more than visiting her and so with a really heavy heart Both James and Cia promised that they won't visit Edna. Before Cia left she cast a spell on Edna, to blind her from the eye of darkness.

How can a human baby have connection with a werewolf? When her parents named her Edna why did James call her Ella? Why is the werewolf seeking her forgiveness? Who is waiting for Edna in the were-world? What mistake did the alpha make? Who is in the dark waiting for Edna? Why did Cia cast a spell to protect Edna? From whom does she need protection?

The journey has just started. There are many secrets to be discovered. Travel with me to know more about the dark past history of Edna... Or should we call her Ella?
