AMNESIA (1)
For a moment Rahmat was silent, then returned to the Administration.
Maya took a deep breath after Rahmat moved away from her.
"I'd rather wait for Edgar in front of the operating room than here. Surely that Uncle wouldn't stop questioning me. The police spirit in him must want to know more than Indira." Maya said hurriedly left the room and went to the operating room where Edgar was in it.
In front of the operating room, Maya was pacing restlessly. Not thinking about Edgar's safety but thinking about what would happen next.
"Indira was so sure that Edgar was Allan. Allan is a secret policeman, while Edgar himself is a fugitive from the police. I'm really confused. Is Allan currently disguised as Edgar and living in the area of criminals to investigate the secret? Then why is Edgar being chased by the police?" Maya asked while rubbing the nape of her neck feeling confused about what she would do.
"Stupid!! why should i be confused!! I can confirm Edgar's identity from his ID card right? but what if the identity card is fake?? just a lie! I still won't know who Edgar is ." Maya said repeatedly taking a deep breath.
It's been almost an hour Maya is still pacing unable to calm down. Moreover, the operating room is not open at all.
"Cckkkkk!!! how long have they been working inside? how hard is it to take just one bullet! Or are they deliberately slowing down Edgar's operations, so that Edgar can be caught?!! or are they brainwashing Edgar?!! Oh Nooo! I hope what I'm thinking isn't true!!" Maya said immediately approached the operating room door and looked into the small glass room that became one with the door.
"This is so impossible!! how did the operation process take this long?!! I have to see it!! what did they do to Edgar!" Maya said desperately intending to open the operating room door, but the operating room door opened first.
Maya was very surprised, seeing Indira who opened the door of the operation.
"Dokter?? Why did Syam's operation take so long? how is the condition? he's not dead right?" Maya asked with a very serious and worried face.
Indira looked at Maya with displeasure but as a doctor she had to be professional.
"Allan is past his critical period. The bullet lodged almost close to Allan's heart. So I have to take it carefully. Soon Allan will be transferred to the inpatient room." Indira said with a look that couldn't be separated from Maya's face.
"Thankfully, Syam survived. Hopefully after this nothing bad happens to you." Maya said as she looked inside the operating room.
"You are very concerned about Allan. Do you like Allan?" asked Indira with a jealous look.
"Of course I don't like Syam. But it was Syam who loved me. He intends to propose to me but I don't want to." Maya said deliberately answering as she spoke. But Maya was very satisfied to see the red color on Indira's face.
"Killed!! you!! eat it jealous!! why are you jealous of me!!" Maya said feeling that Indira didn't like her closeness to Edgar.
Maya was laughing in her heart when she saw Indira's reaction was too much.
"I hope what you say is true. We will know after Allan wakes up." Indira said in a flat tone, feeling sure that Syam was Allan, the man who had been her lover.
After a bit of arguing with Indira, Maya saw Edgar coming out of the operating room brought by two nurses to be transferred to the inpatient room.
Ignoring Indira's gaze again, Maya quickly followed the nurse who brought Edgar.
"Doctor Indira, we have transferred the patient. Is there anything else we need to do?" one of the nurses asked Indira after she finished moving Edgar.
Indira shook her head with a smile.
"Thank you Sister." Indira said to the two nurses before they left the room.
"Doctor? Is the Doctor not working? I'll take care of Syam." Maya said as she sat on the chair next to Edgar.
"Today I'm actually off. Since it was Allan who was injured, I was just helping. I'm still curious about what you said. For that, I have to ascertain who he really is. Syam your mine or Allan is mine." Indira said in a firm tone.
Maya swallowed her saliva, it turned out that the woman in front of her really knew Edgar as Allan. Maya's heart became doubtful about what she believed.
"Stupid!!! you Maya!! what if Edgar is indeed Allan and has used you?!" Maya said in her heart with mixed feelings.
"Why are you silent Maya? did you think about what I said?" asked Indira as if she knew what Maya was thinking.
"I didn't think of anything at all. I just want Syam to wake up quickly." Maya said again swallowing her saliva feeling really in big trouble.
After a long wait for Edgar to wake up, Indira finally straightened her back when she saw Edgar open his eyes.
Edgar was quite surprised when he saw himself in a different place and also saw Maya and a woman standing right in front of him.
"Allan, you've finally come to your senses. Where are you going all this time? I've been looking for you everywhere." Indira said while holding Edgar's hand.
"Sham... thank God you're awake. You just scare me, idiot. I have to find help here and there alone." Maya said in her style that didn't change.
Edgar just stared at the faces of Indira and Maya alternately with confused thoughts. Why does Maya call him Syam?
"Who are you two?! do I know you guys?!" Edgar asked with unblinking eyes looking at Maya and Indira.
"What!! What are you saying Stupid?!" Maya shouted in surprise when Edgar didn't recognize her.
"Allan?? have you forgotten me I'm Indira you?!" Indira said with a full gaze reassuring Edgar.
Edgar still stares at Indira and Maya alternately not understanding what happened when he fainted until Maya thinks of him as Syam.
"What is my name? what is my name allan?? or Stupid Syam?!" Edgar said with a frown, calling himself stupid like what Maya calls him.
