Chapter 13: Training?

After talking a bit about our future plans, we leave the dimension, tomorrow would be the training with All Might, I told Katsuki that for obvious reasons I would not show my full strength to All Might since it would be suspicious if I could perfectly control of my newfound "Quirk". I was hoping that his teachings are not all fight-based since for me they would be mostly useless.

One of the important things I need to do in this period of time is collect the materials for the Hero costumes that I need to do in the future and some useful things from the soul society, in the library of the other dimension are all the records of the experiments made by the investigators of the Shinigami Research and Development Institute. They have some interesting things like regenerative serums, cloaking devices, holographic technologies, and many more things.

The technological advancement in the soul society was weird, even though the general population lived in conditions like the feudal era, they could make supercomputers and medicines more advanced than the ones here.

The money it's not a problem since I have a lot of savings from tournaments, giving private tutoring to rich kids, and some investments. Also, I don't need the materials in great quantities since I can practice with the Reishi materials made in the dimension and then use the material from my world to make the ones I would use outside the dimension.

The only problem is that some materials are very hard to get or they are not for sale to the general public. I have some connections that can get me some of the hard-to-get materials and in the worst-case scenario, I just need to go to a research lab or someplace that have the materials that I need since I succeeded in creating a Bakudō spell that scans the structure of the objects and shows it in my mind. Also, I need to re-create some facilities since the Shinigami Research and Development institute was not advanced in fighting suits since Shinigami only fought on their traditional fighting clothes.

The next All Might texted us to go to the Takoba municipal beach park. I didn't understand why there since the beach was full of junk. After waiting a bit we heard All Might's voice.

"I'M HERE!"

All Might arrived in his buff form with his particular big smile.

"Good morning, young Midoriya, young Bakugou" All Might greet us before transforming back to his skinny form that no one would believe is the number one Hero. To be honest I admire him for still holding the burden of being the symbol of peace while having such terrible injuries.

"Oi All Might it is okay that you change your appearance in a public place like this? What if another person sees you? Katsuki asked. I just nodded at Katsuki's words.

All Might just smile "Worry not young Bakugou, young Midoriya, I asked a friend of mine to close this area from the public so there is no one, but in this form please call me Yagi Toshinori"

I nodded at All Might's words "All right Yagi-san what we should do first?"

"Your first task will be cleaning all the junk from this beach," All Might said raising his thumb up.

Katsuki and I couldn't help but think that he was making a bad joke.

"Yagi-san are you serious?" I asked imploring that this was just a bad joke.

"I'm serious, doing this with help you in several ways, first it would train your bodies and help you to know your physical limits, second it can help to improve your teamwork since there are things here that you cant move on your own and finally it would make you do a selfless act to help the community and show you that the Hero work is not always flashy and sometimes people will not know what you do for them," Said All Might.

I just sighed at All Might's words, to be honest, deep down in me I knew that he was going to do something like this. His method is a little rough, but not bad perse since this covers 3 objectives with just one exercise. I was hoping that he would teach us some other thing but from his perspective, this is the best way to proceed. So we just need to go with the flow.

A FEW MOMENTS LATER….

"Hey hey hey hey! This car makes for a fine seat!" All Might said to us. "Pull it as if your life depends on it! "

"Fucking move it you toothpick!" Katsuki yelled at me.

"Shut the hell up sparkles! And use your legs! I shot back.

"Less talking and more moving!" All Might yelled.

And why I was struggling to move this junk when usually I could move it with one hand? I put seals on my body to limit the amount of strength that I could extend, have perfect control over my body but it's hard to fake exhaustion and struggle.

We continue for a couple of hours and decided to take a break.

"You are better than what young Bakugou described young Midoriya, you use every part of your body in a such skilled way that would put in shame many pro Heroes, also I think you're stronger than at least 2 adults together." Said All Might

Katsuki smirked at All Might's words "This nerd was already stronger than an adult before his Quirk awakened and it's obvious that he would be that skilled since he won the Road To Heaven tournament for three consecutive years"

"You are also not bad Katsuki, if you entered the tournament you would qualify to the quarterfinals," I said to Katsuki, even if he didn't train martial arts that much since he use more of his time to train new ways to use his Quirk, he has a crazy battle sense and reflexes.

All Might made a confused expression and asked "Excuse me but, what is this 'Road To Heaven Tournament' you are talking about?"

Katsuki and I stared at All Might in shock.

"Oi old man Yagi, you don't really know? Do you live under a rock or something!? Asked Katsuki

"Yagi-san do you see T.V or use the internet in your free time or what do you do? I asked to All Might

"What?" All might look at us in confusion, wondering why we reacted like this.

Katsuki answered for him "The Road to Heaven is a National Martial Arts Tournament that is held in Tokyo, once a year. In this tournament, you can use any kind of martial arts and any kind of weapon except for the hidden ones. Martial Artist from all over the country participates in the tournament. Many large companies invest in it and the prize money for the champion is twenty million yen."

"There are two leagues, first the Junior League for people between the ages of 12 and 17 years old. And the Senior League for people with the ages of 18 years old and above and this nerd" Katsuki pointed at me "Won the tournament for 3 consecutive years having the record of being the youngest to win in that league at the age of twelve and being the youngest to win multiple time. So he is officially the best damn fighter under the age of 18, but many consider him the best"

"Wow" All Might stared at me "I didn't know about that! You must be very popular in Japan, how is it that I never hear your name before?" All Might asked me

"Well, you see I'm actually quite popular in the civilians and some rich kids asked their parents to hire me for private lessons and even some local police stations asked for lessons, but in the Hero side…" I smiled sadly at him "Many Pros go to the tournament looking for prospects to recruit, but since I was Quirkless the Heroes never reached to me"

All Might just look at me not knowing what to say as he clenched his fist.

"Anyways that old history now, and to begin with I never cared about that," I said trying to change the mood.

After two hours more of training, we decided to end the training for today. After chatting for a bit Katsuki and I parted ways with All Might.

"Oi nerd, how long do you think it would take us to clean this beach?" Katsuki asked.

I think about it for a moment before answering "If we keep this pace it would take us between 3 or 4 weeks if I keep showing this amount of strength, but I will come at night to take some of the useful metal scraps around to use them in a project that I have in mind, also I will increase the amount of strength little by little, so it will take us only two weeks."

"Well for me it's helpful since I have less physical strength than you, but for you is just a waste of time," Katsuki said.

I smiled at Katsuki "Not at all Katsuki, although the training is not useful to me, getting closer to All Might is very useful and he is really a kind person so getting to know more of him is quite good to me"

"Yeah, you are right, he is a weirdo, but he is nice," Katsuki said.

"Changing the topic, the next couple of weeks I need to prepare a few things before we start the new training in the other dimension, also we need to test if Kenichi and Kenshin will agree to join us," I said to Katsuki

After talking a bit, we parted ways and I started looking on the internet at the companies that have tours on their investigation centers. Even though most of this tour only shows the superficial things that they do, all the machinery that they use is real and it will be helpful to scan it for the future. Also, I checked at my contacts looking for the numbers of the rich kids I imparted lessons with, some of their parents are owners of a Hero-related business so I could always exchange a tour in their research area in exchange for giving more extra lessons to their kids.

I sighed at thinking how busy I'm going to be in the next couple of weeks. "Well, it can't be helped, the sooner I start the sooner I will finish"
