Chapter 102 : Start Of Cannon (Bonus Chapter)

After that, that woman kicks me right between my legs. Damn that devil's spawn, one of these days I will pay her back. 

Good thing that the Reverse Curse technique heals or otherwise, I can't even imagine what would have happened to my future happy life. 

Though half of the reason was mine, I annoyed her a little too much and I shouldn't have let my guard down even after I won that match. 

'Even spider-sense was useless with that proximity.' Sigh.

Grumbling I look at the partner assigned to me for my very first mission here. Black hair which looked like was styled after a cactus and a handsome face which was so punchable that I had to repeatedly remind myself not to do it. 

And above anything, that look on his face which looked like he was in a constant state of constipation, this was none other than the last hope of Zenin Clan. 

Megumi Fushiguro. 

Currently, I partner with him to find a cursed object, a good thing becuase I was getting bored in school AF. 

The situation with Maki after that fight was wacky at best. She pretty much avoided me, not sure what had gotten into her, I even apologised for taunting her and using her hatred for her family against her.

But Noooo, the girl has attitude. 

With Toge and Panda though, things were good. But ultimately they were not the people who I would be teaming up with in the future.

Looking at Megumi, the boy was giving me strange looks from time to time. It wasn't hard to figure out what he was thinking. 

"Stop that, I told you I am not Okkotsu and this is not a prank by Gojo. You are irritating me now." 

At this, he boy just tactfully removed his glaring eyes from me, but that face clearly stated that he wasn't convinced. 

As I said we are currently looking for a curse item. And that was it about this mission. I hardly cared until we came to the place we currently were standing in front of. 

It was none other than a high school.

'You gotta kidding me. This is the starting of the cannon timeline.' 

But that is not the problem, besides knowing that the cannon started from here, and that strange finger thing. I don't remember what else there was to it. 

It's like I purposefully missing some key information which could save me a load full of bullcrap.

'Think Yuta, think. What is it that you are forgetting.'

"Hey quit standing there, let's go," Megumi said as he walked into the school. 

"Hmm, fine."

For the time being, let's just go with the flow.

"WHERE IS IT, WHERE IT GO ?" Megumi almost shouted while comically looking around. 

"What happened," I asked, knowing that whatever it is, I'm not gonna like it. 

"The finger is missing." He replied with a frowning look plastered on his face. 

'Yup knew it, but let's just confirm again.' 

"What so important about that finger ?" 

"Sigh, it's a powerful curse object. The most powerful infact, it is one of Sukuna's fingers." 

'Oh yes, we are all, so dead.' 

"I see," I reply with the same grim expression on my face, matching his seriousness level. 

"Hmm..." 

"What ?"

"Nothing, I am just surprised that you even know about Sukuna," Megumi said. 

"I did my homework before coming." 

'In my free time, I went wild with Sharingan in Jujutsu High Library.' 

"So what's now," I asked, not sure what to do.

 "We have to find it," 

'Why did I even ask, of course, we have to !'

"What the fuck you guys thinking taking out that obviously suspicious-looking object and playing resident evil with it," I shouted as I ran alongside both Megumi and Yuji Itadori who just joined the gang. 

"What ?" Yuji sounded confused. 

"Ignore him, he sometimes acts like that." Megumi reply. 

"Hey, don't act like you know me jack ass, we just met 6 hours ago." 

"Yeah right," Megumi muttered under his breath but I heard him, this bastard still doesn't believe that I am not Okkotsu.

Upon getting to the high school, it was obvious that the place was lurking with curse energy. I now was able to sense it clearly after learning it from others. And reading some books on the nature of this curse energy. 

And though I can't use Curse Energy directly, Reverse Curse Energy is the same. 

Oh, fun fact, my concept earlier was kind of wrong and yet right. 

RCT or reverse curse technique is actually healing. Or at least what I learn in the books. But the thing is that it in fact is not exactly a technique. It's just a combination of curse energy to make it positive. 

So even calling it positive cures energy or reverse curse energy is also right. 

So this now further confuses me what my curse technique is.

It states the Reverse Curse Technique.

And yes I can heal now, a boon for someone like me who uses OFA and has a chance of getting injured but if that's it then why suddenly I am able to bypass Infinity?

That damn Gojo wouldn't explain. And I am out of my wits to figure that out. And can't ask this of others either, have to keep that a secret and all. Although I suspect that it has something to do with me combining OFA with RCT.

Whatever, no point thinking about that right now. Gotta take care of a few cursed spirits and save some kids.
