Chapter 103 : Start Of Cannon 2

At night, even a place like a school looks like a haunted house. No serious! why the fuck does my heart go 20 miles a second just opening a door which sounds worst than my neighbour's second-hand antic car. 

"Leave it, it's close, we need to find another way," Megumi said as he used his curse energy to jump high and cross the iron gate.

"Yeah, man, thanks for taking us here and all but from now on leave the matters to us. It's dangerous." I said turning to Yuji who was looking a little rebellious when asked to return and not follow them anymore but didn't argue back or anything. 

Saying this I just put more pressure on the gate, breaking it from the hinge and almost ripping it off. 

Yuji saw this with wide eyes, gawking a little, he still now was the strongest kid in his circle, hell he never has seen anyone stronger than him still date. And then this boy comes and outright makes him look like a child.

'Oops.'

I wasn't planning on doing that. Well, it's not like I have to pay for it, hope I don't. I will just respectfully put the gate here. 

"Sorry, but this is to save lives." I internally prayed as entered the school, right behind Megumin. 

That bastard left me and got inside alone. 

Running inside I tried to sense any kind of curse energy, though I wasn't the best at it I was still able to locate negative energy on the second floor. 

With that, I dash after Megumin.

The first thing I saw was Megium had his dogs fighting with ugly-looking things.

'OH, this is a curse.' 

It was my first time looking at a curse and I have to say that it looks disgusting. At least villains looked more human-like back in the MHA world. But this is outright...

Hmm, not sure how to explain. Monsters shouldn't be the right word considering those curse spirits who look like humans are the real monsters. 

Whatever let's help the guy first. OFA 5% Punch.

Speed running towards the monster, I zoom past Megumi who was struggling to land a decisive attack at the curse thanks to the size difference and punch the curse hard on the head. At least I believe that was the head. 

Dud... 

The curse was thrown back, but besides that looked fine in most cases. 

'Hmm, seems like I have to use more power.

No, let's try using RCT here. It's supposed to be very effective against curses right !' I hmm before I saw Megumin run by me.

"Take care of this one, there is someone in danger." that was the only thing he said before zooming by me. 

'Hey, you just can't toss this guy on me.' I wanted to complain but sigh, knowing that it was pointless, I just focus on gathering RCT on my hands. 

This time I didn't use OFA. Using RCT also needs Hero Time, so that would be a waste. If possible let's only use RCT until I don't have to use any other powers. 

With that in mind, my hands lid up slightly with a white aura and I rush at the curse.

At first, the curse looked like he was ready to fight like he was pissed at me after I punch him. But the moment I used RCT, he looked like he was an employee who saw his boss coming to him with a file with his name written on it. 

We know that we are doomed if that ever happens. 

So the bastard ran. 

"Huh, OI.

OI what are you doing? Come here and fight me." I shouted with irritation upon seeing how fast the big chubby body was running.

So of course I give it a chase. Only to find that I ended up in a place full of curses surrounding me. 

Not even kidding, there must be hundreds of them. 

"Oh, you gotta be kidding me." 

And though they had numbers on their side, the moment I used RCT they all looked afraid. 

This gave me a little confidence back. Well, not like I was afraid or anything. It's just that they would draw more HT from me than I am willing to spend to take care of these little fries. 

My first target was still that fat curse, not stopping my chase even after being surrounded by many curses, I punched the curse again but this time with an RCT infuse punch. 

The punch itself was quite weak but the moment the punch connected, the body of the cursed spirit almost exploded, making a spectacular sense of gore and disgusting green blood.

"What in the world." With Irritated eyes, I looked at my new uniform, which was completely white and resembled my Hero Costume a lot with clear irritation. Because it was not clean or white no longer. 

Covered with curse blood and guts. 

"OH, you guys gonna pay for that," I shouted as RCT in my hands raged, making those curse spirits nervous and some even tried to run away. 

"Oh no, not that quick." I roar.

By the time I was done, I looked better kind curse than those curse spirits. Sighing I just went after Megumin. 

 When I came to the terrace I suddenly heard this...

"You Idiot, dont swallow that," Megumin shouted. 

'Huh, not something I will ever say. But still why I feel like I missed something really important. 

A feeling of Dejavu....'

Increasing my speed at the expense of little HT, I cross the distance to reach Megumin, only to see a big curse suddenly getting cut into a sliced piece of bread in front of my eyes.

"Holy Shit".
