As Rize drank deeper from Max's neck, the room filled with soft, intimate sounds. She moaned lightly with each pull of blood, her lips pressing against his skin, her fangs sinking deeper.
Shhhh... Her breath hitched, and she let out a soft, satisfied hum between gulps.
Slurp... slurp... The rhythmic sound of her drinking became steady, almost hypnotic. Her grip on his shoulders tightened as her body instinctively leaned closer, craving more of the rich taste.
"Mmm~" she moaned softly, her voice vibrating with pleasure as she savored the powerful energy coursing through the blood. The sounds she made were delicate yet filled with desire, each sip sending waves of ecstasy through her as her body shuddered lightly against Max.
Max remained still, his expression calm as he allowed her to continue, her gentle moans and the subtle slurping filling the air. He could feel her excitement growing with every pull, her fingers digging slightly into his skin as her thirst took control.
Finally, with one last satisfying slurp, Rize pulled back, panting softly. Her lips were stained with his blood, and her eyes fluttered as she relished the aftertaste.
"That... was heavenly," she whispered, her voice breathy and filled with a mixture of satisfaction and longing.
As Rize finished healing Max's neck with a soft lick, she pulled back, her eyes filled with unspoken desire. She gazed at him intently, her feelings clear.
"You know I can't do that," Max replied firmly, gently lifting her off his lap.
Rize pouted, crossing her arms. "Your girlfriend is really stingy. She should let you have more women. After all, you're immortal, unlike her."
Max sighed, standing and putting his shirt back on. "I'll talk to Gwen. Only if she's okay with it will I consider embracing you too."
"So, it's true," a voice said from behind them. Max and Rize turned to see Gwen standing in the doorway, her expression complicated.
Gwen had woken up earlier than expected and had quietly followed Max and Rize, her curiosity—and a little fear—leading her to watch from the window. She had seen everything, including Rize drinking Max's blood.
She sighed softly, a mix of emotions swirling inside her. Hearing that Max was immortal and she wasn't only heightened her unease, though there was some relief knowing Max was not cheating with her.
Max, surprised but calm, met Gwen's gaze. "Gwen, I was going to talk to you about this," he started.
Gwen gave a small nod, clearly processing what she had seen and heard. She wasn't sure how to feel, but her trust in Max held her steady—for now.
Gwen looked up at Max, her eyes filled with uncertainty. "Are you really immortal like she said?" she asked quietly.
Before Max could respond, Rize chimed in with a smirk. "Yes, and that's why you should let him have other women. You can't just monopolize him, especially when one day you'll be... well, let's say you'll grow old and leave him behind."
Max shot Rize a sharp look. "Don't listen to her," he said softly, stepping closer to Gwen. "I might… no, I will find a way to make you immortal too." His voice was full of determination as he gently reached for her, cupping her face in his hands.
Gwen leaned into his touch, feeling the warmth of his hand on her cheek, but the weight of the situation made it hard to relax. She didn't know how to process all of this—Max's immortality, Rize's words, and her own fears about their future.
She wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly, as if holding on would help her find the answers. Max's embrace was comforting, but the unease wouldn't fully go away. The idea of growing old while Max remained unchanged gnawed at her, and Rize's harsh words lingered in her mind.
"Just relax, and we'll figure this out," Max whispered. But Gwen couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty, especially after everything Rize had said. It wasn't just about immortality—it was about what that meant for their relationship, and for her.
Before Gwen could respond, Rize's voice cut in, her tone dripping with amusement. "You're making promises you don't even know you can keep, Max. Immortality isn't something you can just hand out like candy."
Max's jaw tightened, but he kept his focus on Gwen. "Ignore her. I'm serious about this, Gwen. We'll find a way. I'm not going to let you live with that fear."
Gwen swallowed hard, her gaze shifting to Rize for a moment. The vampire's smirk hadn't disappeared, and that only made Gwen more uneasy. Rize clearly enjoyed the tension she was creating.
"Why does she always have to make things worse?" Gwen muttered, more to herself than to Max.
Max sighed, glancing over at Rize. "Because that's who she is. But don't let her get to you. You're the one I care about."
Gwen nodded, though her heart still felt heavy. She pulled away from him slightly, looking down at her hands. "I guess we'll see…"
Max could feel her uncertainty, and though he wanted to say more, he knew Gwen needed time to process. "Take all the time you need," he said gently. "I'll be here."
Gwen gave a small, sad smile before turning and heading toward her room. As she left, Max watched her go, a mixture of determination and concern in his eyes. Rize, still lingering, let out a small chuckle, crossing her arms.
"You can't protect her from everything, Max," Rize said quietly. "Especially from the truth."
"you know if you want, I can also maker her an vampire" Rize suggested looking at Max.
"I can have her immortality without making her an vampire" Max replied as he looked at Rize " Do you have to be so hard o her?"
"Humph, it's you who is being foolish, man like you shouldn't just be with a single woman" Rize snorted and replied.
"Still...we are living in an era where people usually have one wife" Max shrugged and aid.
"You are not just any 'other' living in this era but" Rize said and max nodded.
'well, I also would like to have an harem, but only if Gwen agree' he thought to himself.
