CHAPTER 46

"We proceeded to stage the scene as per Damon's orders. After completing that, we called the cops, who were in Yellow's pockets, and the rest, I believe you know, My Lord…"

Jacob was kneeling as he was describing what happened that day. He could feel his lord's anger growing continuously with no stop. It made him more loyal, but he was also scared that his Lord would not want him anymore as he was part of what occurred.

The Void radiating from Andrew threatens to obliterate everything. Re-living the last moment when he saw his wife going down with his daughter but to hear how they were killed…

No one could describe his emotions as it was unstable. There was a need for him to destroy everything in the world, but he also just wanted to hold someone and cry out loud.

The Void began trembling under his feelings. If he could see his Mana, he would notice that it was displaying infinite at this moment.

"My Lord. A day before, Adrian connected with me and asked me to visit a location. They planned to meet and create a plan to trap and kill you. They even called Revon. We decided not to join the meeting as they would only use us again. And if I am not wrong, they must still be in that location. Adrian, Yellow, and Damon should also be in this location…"

Jacob began changing the destination coordinates but did not alter them. If he did, the course that the jet was flying would change, and he knew it was his Lord's decision. So, he entered the coordinates and stopped after that.

"Return"

Jacob vanished as Andrew uttered Return.

Andrew began taking deep breaths. He started to calm himself down, but his boiling anger was not allowing it to be easy.

*Ringtone*

His phone began to ring, and Andrew looked at who was calling. It was Laura.

He answered it.

"Andrew, are you close by?"

"I will be there soon…" Andrew replied.

On the other side of the call, Laura could feel the change in Andrew's tone.

"Is everything all right?" she asked, concerned.

"When you come to know how your family died… what will you feel?" Andrew asked in an emotionless tone.

Laura was startled at this question. She did not know how to respond. She did not even want to think of something like that. But the way Andrew asked made her realize something.

'Did Jacob, the man Andrew was going after today involved on that day?'

She knew that should be the case. She may not seem like it, but she was also a SHIELD Agent once. She can easily connect everything.

"I will… I will kill them…" Laura said.

Andrew nodded.

"That's exactly what I am going to do… I wanted to destroy their reputations and finish them, but now, I want to eradicate them and everyone they care about… I don't want another like me…"

Andrew looked at the destination that Jacob had entered. He then pressed the "Yes" Button, and the Jet coursing through the sky started changing its direction of flight.

"I will come back after I finish everything…"

Laura's eyes widened upon hearing it.

"Who?"

"All of them…"

"Tell the kids if they ask where I am… tell them I have gone out and will be back as soon as possible…" Andrew cut the call.

Laura stood still, not knowing what to do.

She then thought about the question again and realized the answer would always be the same—death upon those who have wronged and betrayed you.

She went back and quickly rushed to her room and took a phone. Barton told her only to use it in case of an emergency.

She called Barton.

"Laura? What happened? Are you and the kids fine?" Barton's panicked tone could be heard from the phone.

"Barton… Calm down… I am not calling because we are in danger. I am calling because Andrew has changed his course. He is going after Damon…"

"Why is he going after him? This was not his plan at all."

"He just told me this and asked me a question. 'When you come to know how your family died… what will you feel?'"

Barton need not be told more than this. Natasha and Maria also heard the call as the phone was from Laura. They also knew that only in an emergency would Laura call.

"Jacob must have been there that day…" Natasha connected quickly.

"His plan of destroying their reputation and then finishing them off has completely changed… Now, he is going to finish them off," Natasha continued.

"Yes, the problem is… When you are not in control of your emotions is when you make a mistake and this time, he will," Maria said.

"He won't…" They heard Laura's voice.

All of them turned back to the phone.

"What do you mean?" asked Barton.

"The way he spoke… The Clarity in his voice… He is going to end everything today. Tomorrow for him will be a blank state…"

"You are saying he is going after all of them?"

"Yes. I think they are in the same location that he is going to now… I don't know where."

"You guys have to find him. Go as a backup but don't act," Laura said.

"We will see what we can do. Thanks for letting us know, love," Barton said and cut the call.

"Can we find him?" Barton asked.

"Difficult. We removed every single tracking device and communication device from it before we left. Unless and until he gives us the location, we won't know," Natasha sighed and sat down.

"We can do one. We can formulate where Yellow has been for the past few months, along with Damon and Adrian. However, Adrian is a tough one to find out. He might have also managed to hide Yellow and Damon's whereabouts. But he could have slipped somewhere. Search and list all locations they have been to—even a place for coffee, lunch, or anything you find, including CIA safe houses. Damon is a part of Hydra as well. We might even find a possible hideout through this. But we will worry about that later. Once we have a collection of locations, we can triangulate all the places they were in, and it could give us a possible location," Maria suggested.

"It's a long shot. Gathering all their locations will take time, " Barton said, hearing her suggestion.

"We have nothing right now," Natasha replied.

"All right then, I will take Yellow, and Nat will take Damon, and Maria, leaving you with Adrian…" They began their work.

Andrew, on the jet, was looking through his inventory. He had collected all types of equipment from the Bodyguards back at Jacob's mansion. He did not find any Runes and didn't know why. But he did not bother about that and began focusing on creating a plan.

He looked through all his abilities and realized he would use many of them this time. The tablet on his side showed the area that Jacob had entered in the Quinjet's Destination coordinates. He used the Tablet a minute later to scope the area.

It was a Mansion of the CIA now being used as Yellow's own. It was near Orlando Park in Kansas City. He hacked through all the cameras for a minute and mapped an image showing all about the Mansion. The no of rooms, bathrooms, maids, the bodyguards, and the picture on the right. He selected the picture which occupied the entire screen of the tablet. The Picture showed a round table with Adrian sitting in one of the chairs and Damon and Yellow sitting opposite, facing each other.

The Void around Andrew never stopped radiating its terrifying nature, and it just increased. The jet was covered in Void, but it was not harming it. But it was increasing the jet's speed significantly.
