Chapter 130: News about Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch

"Is it really that funny?" This time it was Clint Barton who asked.

"How much do you know about Wakanda?" Ulysses Klaue finally managed to stop laughing.

"Well, shepherds, textiles, and cool clothes," Clint Barton said.

"These are all surface-level things. Explorers have been looking for centuries for the legendary Golden City," Ulysses Klaue said, "they thought they could find it in South America, but in reality, the Golden City has always been in Africa."

"Africa?" Steve Rogers asked, "Are you telling us that Wakanda is the Golden City?"

"It's a technological marvel," Ulysses Klaue said, "it's built on the basis of the most precious metal known to humanity."

"Vibranium?" Clint Barton said.

"Yes, Vibranium! They call it the gift from heaven," Ulysses Klaue said.

"The hardest metal on Earth," Clint Barton said.

"It's not just a metal; they sew it into their clothes," Ulysses Klaue said, "Vibranium powers their city and enhances their technological level..."

"Wait, did you say technology?" Clint Barton couldn't imagine it. "A farming nation has its own technology?"

"No, not technology," Ulysses Klaue shook his head, "I should use the word 'science fiction.' When you enter Wakanda, you'll feel like you've stepped into a science fiction world."

"Wakanda is a third-world country, that's what came up on Google," Clint Barton handed a tablet to Steve Rogers.

"It does sound absurd," Steve Rogers looked at it, and the Google search showed Wakanda as backward and impoverished as it could be. It was completely different from what Ulysses Klaue had described, a technologically advanced and science-fiction-like country.

"There are rumors that I stole all of Wakanda's Vibranium, but I can assure you that I only took a tiny bit, as much as a fingernail. They have mountains of Vibranium," Ulysses Klaue said, "they've been mining for thousands of years, but they've only scratched the surface. I'm the only outsider who has seen that scene and lived to tell the tale."

"The story is really fascinating..." Clint Barton said.

"Fascinating?" Ulysses Klaue snorted, "Wakanda is right there; it's not going anywhere. Whether it's real or not, you can go see it with your own eyes."

Both Clint Barton and Steve Rogers wouldn't easily believe someone's words without verification. They temporarily detained Ulysses Klaue and also raided his base in the United States, bringing back a bunch of information.

"Guys, I've made a new discovery," Natasha Romanoff sat at the computer. "These are Ulysses Klaue's transaction records. Have you noticed the name of an old friend? Or more accurately, a yet-to-be-met old friend?"

"Stark!" Everyone gathered around, and they all saw who Natasha Romanoff was talking about.

"So Stark was in Sokovia, no wonder we couldn't find him before," Tony Stark said.

"Which means Hydra also has a presence in Sokovia..." Steve Rogers felt a headache coming on. Hydra's strength was much greater than he had imagined.

"Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were together with Stark in Sokovia, so that means they're there too?" Clint Barton said.

"That's good news," Bruce Banner said, "the siblings are very powerful."

"Wait, what's this?" Natasha Romanoff found a strange pattern on the back of one of Ulysses Klaue's photos.

"What's wrong? Is it a tattoo?" Tony Stark said.

"It's not a tattoo, it's a brand," Natasha Romanoff tapped on the computer for a while. "This is a word in an African tribal language, meaning 'thief,' and it's expressed in a very unfriendly manner."

"Which part of Africa?" Clint Barton's mind stirred.

"Wakanda? No, Wakanda."

"Wakanda branded a thief on his neck..." Clint Barton pondered, "so it looks like his claim of stealing Vibranium from Wakanda might be true?"

"Of course, it's true. Klaue did indeed steal Vibranium from Wakanda," Tony Stark had a deeper understanding of Ulysses Klaue than others, "but he's taken all of Wakanda's Vibranium, so there's no need to pay attention to Wakanda anymore."

"We talked with Klaue on our way here, and he said he only took a small portion. In reality, Wakanda's Vibranium is stacked like mountains," Clint Barton said.

"He said that?"

"That's right, Captain," Bruce Banner added, "you're like a moving billboard, telling everyone 'S.H.I.E.L.D. is here.' What's the point of hiding from Hydra?"

"Alright," Steve Rogers agreed, even though he wasn't a fan of hiding behind a mask. But they were right; if they truly wanted to keep their actions hidden from Hydra, wearing a mask was the best option.

"Stark, your fame seems pretty big too, right?" Clint Barton asked.

"I'm not a part of S.H.I.E.L.D., and besides, isn't Iron Man flying around all the time fighting crime?" Tony Stark said.

The plane suddenly hit something.

Because there was nothing visible in the air to everyone, the plane didn't slow down at all.

As a result, the impact was severe, causing the plane to be severely damaged. Thick smoke billowed up, and the plane began to tilt.

"I guess this must be Wakanda," Steve Rogers turned around and looked behind.

"Even with energy shield technology, who knows how many advanced technologies are in Wakanda? It really does give the feeling that Ulysses Klaue described, like being in a 'science fiction' world," Clint Barton said.

At this moment, an aircraft that looked similar to a Quinjet flew by. After landing, several black people got out.

"Then you better learn from me." Tony Stark marched forward and opened his armored face. "In that case, may I ask where your message came from?" T'Challa asked, "You mentioned a robot named Ultron. How did you know about it?"
