Chapter 51: Rachel's story

• While waiting for her, I leaned up against the wall. Just outside the doorway while staring at my phone.

I couldn't believe Rachel did something like this to Sally. Then again, I should have seen it coming. After I argued with her this morning. Ironically enough Rachel and I were arguing about Sally staying in my room with me.

I don't even know who told her about Sally sharing my room. Most likely it was my cousin Frankie told her at the club. Since I got the idea he's jealous that I have Sally with me.

But Rachel completely freaked out over it and went into hysterics. She took it rather personal I am having Sally stay with me. Right outside my door in the hall for anybody to hear she started yelling. She was fumed by pure jealously.

Rachel rambled on about, how I never allow her in my room anymore and I don't ever visit her in my spare rooms she's stayed in, at my Mansions or Palaces. She burst out her feelings with how she felt betrayed by me staying in a room with another hybrid woman. I mean she even brought up the club, mostly everyone went to last night's dim light. She said I didn't go with her because I was with another hybrid woman. Rachel had some nerve to try telling me off like that! The nerve of her to call Sally another woman was repulsive!

I straight out told her off and said it's my business with what I do and it's not in her control. I saw from her face, her heart was broken but I've never had any true feelings for Rachel. If I did, then I would have made her my wife long ago. Regardless, of how busy I get. I would have made time for Rachel.

But she doesn't take a hint that I've been hoping she'd leave me alone. Luckily, my cousin Frankie was around so he took Rachel in to comfort her. While I was able to just cool down and get some work done at my meetings from earlier. Poor Sally. She's truly going through so much on top of this now happening to her.

As I saw Jay come from the living room walking to me. "I think you need to go in or send Mike and Matt in. She looked really upset and scared. I mean she should've been out by now." He suggested.

I nodded in agreement and message for Matt and Mike. Through the text, I explained to them briefly about what had just happened.

After about another fifteen minutes Matt and Mike showed up and I gave my gesture for them to do their thing. While I stayed outside the room with Jay listening in. It's best those guys calm, Sally since I failed miserably at doing that just moments.

Without making a sound they entered the large room. Finding only one curtain shut. It was fairly easy for them to figure out which changing room she chose.

Outside her curtain, Mike holler in asking, "May Matt and I come in to speak with you, Sally?"

But Sally said nothing. After a few seconds of waiting for her to reply. They both decided to enter very cautiously and walked into the back. Where they found Sally sitting quietly on the bench not making any movement. She only stared at the mirror from on the wall directly in front of her. Mike sat beside her while Matt stood there in front of her.

In a soft tone, Mike said, "Sally, it's ok. You don't need to be scared because you're not in any trouble."

She still didn't say anything and was too zoned-out with staring at herself in the mirror.

Matt kneeled on the floor "Don't mind Rachel." He said sweetly, "She's a pain and if it wasn't for her Father being friends with Cory's parents she wouldn't even be here."

Now she shifted her eyes at Matt. "What happened to her parents?" She asked softly.

Matt answered. "They were defeated by another kingdom who attacked them. Rachel was just a four-year-old little girl at the time. When her parents were killed. Cory's Father never found their bodies to revive them. So Rachel went under our Kingdom's protection to keep her from going into slavery or taken as a prisoner by her Father's enemies. Being a Royal Princess she would have a higher price rate if she were to be sold in the illegal markets. Sadly, she has a very weird obsession with Cory. She claims to love him but the truth is she just wants the throne to be the Primary Queen. Cory has a lot of power she'd be a very high-ranking Queen. That is what she's after."

"I didn't understand why she attacked me like that." Replied Sally

Mike gently informed her. "She will never be allowed to attack you like that ever again. Cory's having his men pack her things. She's leaving with one of Cory's Cousins to stay with him at another mansion owned by him. You won't have to worry about running into her."

Sally was trying to keep it together but she could feel herself losing control. "Please just convince Cory to let me go?" Without any tears, she broke down pleading" I don't care what she did! I just want to leave this place!"

Mike wrapped his arm around her and said gently. "Sally you're back home now. You wouldn't survive out there in this world. This isn't a world for women to be out there alone. It's dangerous. Being here keeps you from slavery. You're a Princess you aren't a slave anymore. You'll have your freedom here in the Kingdom."

Seeing her so upset, "Let me speak with Cory." Matt said, "I think it's time you meet with the Queen."

I heard every word said and turned my head to see Matt approaching me with his suggestion. "I think it's time she meets your..."

"Bring her out and let's do that now." Interrupting him I said and obliged with a head gesture.
