Tenshi wore a white blindfold as he grew up, learning to read and write from Hibari.
Hibari sat on the ground, wrapping her legs around Tenshi, holding a book in front of him with her arms wrapped around him, hugging him in her embrace as she smiled gently, saying softly "And then, First Hokage defeated the Big Bad Fox and saved the day."
Tenshi smiled happily, wrapped in the warm embrace of his mother. He rubbed her arms and said gently, "I like when you read, mommy." Hibari kissed his head and smiled warmly, "I'll read for you whenever you want, baby." Tenshi crinkled his nose, smiling sweetly as he stroked her soft skin, giggling happily.
Hibari pulled out another book before starting to read again, Keigo came home to see this and smiled gently, "What are we reading today?" Tenshi looked over and smiled happily, "Daddy!" Keigo squatted and ruffled Tenshi's brown hair, "Hey, hey~ Is that my guardian angel?" Tenshi giggled and held his head, squinting happily.
Keigo kissed his head and leaned over, kissing Hibari as he grinned, "You're looking at the new Intelligence Officer!" Hibari was thrilled, saying happily while covering her mouth, "You got promoted?!" Keigo smirked and chuckled, "Heh! All that hard work paid off!"
Hibari's eyes were gentle as she said happily, "That's great, Honey! You really deserve it! Are you going to get more free time?" she looked at Keigo hopefully and he sighed, "Probably not…" Hibari seemed sad for a moment but smiled gently, "Well, that's alright… I'm happy for you."
Keigo smiled helplessly, saying "I'm sorry, Hibari…" she gave him a warm smile, "It's okay, I know how much you wanted this… You work hard for us, I support you with both hands!" she giggled happily and raised Tenshi's hands, waving them from side to side, "We're cheering for you, Daddy!"
Tenshi giggled, waving his arms side to side, "Go Daddy Go!" Keigo was filled with happiness and laughed, "Well, I AM pretty great! Hahahaha!" Hibari laughed softly and Tenshi laid in her embrace, smiling gently.
He had tried many things in his previous life; acting, sports, music, singing, etc…
Out of all of these, he only learned how to play the piano and sing one song… He couldn't act at all, he was told to give up very early, he had no talent. Tenshi figured himself to just be an ordinary guy, so he applied for the job that would end him.
He was pretty good at anything coffee related.
The Cafe place he worked at was previously owned by his father before he sold it… After his death, Tenshi went back to work there as a normal employee. He really tried his hardest to learn everything and give the customers a happy experience.
A little bit of happiness goes a long way for a lot of people.
Tenshi believed that being kind to others even if you were having a hard time was one of the most noble things you can do.
As a result, he received more shifts as customers came in more frequently when he was around. The New Boss was very happy with him and even gave him a raise. It was a shame that his old life was gone, but at least he recovered the money from the robber.
Tenshi forgot about his last life and focused on the new one, he was a different person now. He would continue his belief and thank everyone for what they taught him before, but he moved on with a smile, embracing his new life with open arms.
Which was why he was so happy with his parents, they were very kind. Even a strange mutated guy like him, didn't matter to them. He had seen his wings and eyes in the mirror, shocked.
He had vague memories of Naruto the manga, however he was so busy he never really had time to really invest himself in it. He knew about anime here and there, before his parents passed, he was a One Piece connoisseur!
Even now he could probably tell you everything there was to know about it. A few others were more cemented in his mind along with video games and some books, but the rest was very fuzzy and vague…
He was more of a working man at the point that he died. Just a normal person with normal talents, he even had 2 ex girlfriends. It was a shame, he had been talking to a pretty girl and even arranged a date the day of his accident.
She was very cute but blind.
Tenshi liked her a lot.
Well, that was in the past.
Tenshi knew that he was in Konoha, but he seemed to be a civilian rather than a ninja. He was mildly happy about this. He had never killed anyone before, and he faintly felt that it wasn't suitable for him. Maybe this would change, however if he could help it, he would rather not get into conflicts.
With the example of the robber, Tenshi had a bottom line… He wasn't a violent person, but he would be if he had to! The laws in this new world were a bit wishy-washy, killing people wasn't a big deal.
However, seemingly, it didn't need to be done.
He didn't know what he wanted to do but he just hoped that he could be happy and live without regrets.
With that being said, Tenshi learned with Hibari everyday, he was inseparable from her. She was so kind and gentle with a hint of mischievousness… Tenshi really loved her deeply, she was his mother after all.
His father, Keigo, wasn't around very much but he always cut time time out of his day to spend time with him. Naturally he was a bit helpless that his son seemed to love his mother much more, he understood that Tenshi spent most of his time with Hibari but…
His boy was too kind and gentle, like a woman!
A funny scene occurred one day…
Tenshi looked up at Keigo with his mouth open slightly as Keigo waved his arms and said "Then you have to shout, 'MANLY' with a boom!" while patting his chest hard, puffing out his muscles.
Tenshi nodded and sucked in, swinging his arms before flexing with his arms curling like upside down bullhorns as he shouted tenderly "MANLY!" Keigo looked at his cute appearance and burst out laughing.
Hibari walked out with juice, giggling happily "Are you big strong Men thirsty?" Tenshi ran over and hugged her legs, smiling happily as he nodded. Keigo pouted "What about daddy?" Tenshi looked troubled and walked over, hugging his leg for a second before running back.
Keigo's heart seemed to break as Hibari laughed softly, rubbing Tenshi's head, holding a tray in her other hand. She squatted down and glanced at Keigo sweetly before whispering in Tenshi's ear.
Tenshi looked embarrassed before running over to Keigo and tugging on his pants, asking softly "C-Can you teach me how to fight, daddy?" Keigo's eyes lit up and he picked up Tenshi, "It's gonna be tough, Tenshi."
Tenshi nodded and smiled gently "I… I want to try!" Keigo pinched his nose and smiled, "Alright!"
The years passed slowly
The Third Ninja War started.
When Tenshi was 9 years old, Keigo died on the battlefield.
