"Well that was pretty cryptic, huh?" said Kyle.
Andrea nodded, her eyes on the road but her mind elsewhere, thinking through the implications of Marco's instructions.
They hadn't spoken at all while making their departure from the prison. There was a mutual understanding that what they had been told probably broke some sort of rule, and that they'd be better waiting until they put some distance between them and the prison before discussing it.
"Your friend doesn't say much, but when he does, he sure makes it count," said Andrea. She honestly had thought the whole trip was going to have been a waste of time before Marco suddenly started talking at the end.
"You're not wrong," said Kyle, rhythmically drumming his fingers against the center console as he thought.
"You think you can remember it all until Monday?"
