Chapter 68 : Pearl location

"Okay," Annabelle replied as she started the car.

The car started moving and left the place. While travelling Percy asked

"Where did you get this car from, Alex?"

Percy wondered, unable to contain his curiosity.

"Yeah, it just appeared out of nowhere," said Grover

"I have a personal dimension in which I can store anything, except living things," said Alex. Not keeping it a secret.

"What, is it even possible for something like that to exist?" asked Percy

"Yes, didn't you see now?" replied Alex

"Do all gods have power like Alex?" asked Percy

"No, I don't think so," said Grover

"Yes, no god has a power like this," said Annabeth

"Yeah, I don't think anyone will have power like that. It is like an inventory in a game," said Grover.

"Yeah, I'm special even among the gods," said Alex with a smug smile

Seeing the smile the three thought

Is this guy a god?

He is certainly different from other gods. Or does this guy have some screws loose?

"You guys are thinking something rude aren't you?" said Alex as he felt that these guys were thinking something rude.

"How do you know that you can read our minds?" asked Percy

"There is no need to read your mind for that. I can see it on your face."

"So you can also read minds, how many other things are you capable of Alex?" asked Annabeth.

"I can do many things, but I can't remember all of them," said Alex, who couldn't remember all his abilities.

"How many powers do you have that you have lost count of them?" asked Percy

While talking, time passed and it became morning and they arrived at their destination.

The car stopped near the building. The four got out of the car and walked around.

"Hey, Percy are you sure this is the right place?" Alex asked as he gazed at the place littered with statues and dust.

"Yeah, this is the place, according to the map," said Percy

"But, this place looks like it's not been used for a long time. Do you think the pearl is inside?" asked Alex.

"Yeah, I doubt we can find the pearl inside," said Grover

"Well let's try to search, if we don't find it, we can search in another location," said Percy.

"Okay, let's go inside and search for the pearl inside," said Annabeth

"Okay "

As the four came into the reception, they saw that it was full of dust, old furniture, statues, and cobwebs on the statues.

"This place needs some serious renovation," said Alex

"Yeah," said Annabeth, who was walking beside Alex

"Is anyone here?" shouted Percy

But he did not get any response

"it seems there is no one," said Grover

"Do you guys think anyone would live in a place like this? Which is filled with weird statues and dust everywhere?" asked Alex.

Alex was skeptical because the place had an antiquated and eerie atmosphere, with dust and cobwebs scattered everywhere, and peculiar statues lining the walls. He thought it was unlikely that anyone would want to live in such a strange environment.

"Yeah, this place doesn't look like anyone lives here," said Annabeth agreeing with Alex

"Okay guys, let's search for the pearl first," said Percy

After that, the group began to search the entire hall for the pearl. While searching Alex felt the traces of magic from the statues. He began to think that something was strange about the statues.

"Hey, guys don't you think the statues are strange?"

Hearing that the group turned their heads towards the statues and observed them and did not find anything strange.

"No, we did not find anything strange except there are many statues and they all look different."

"You did not feel anything different seeing these statues?" asked Alex

"Is there anything different about these statues?" she asked, examining a statue nearby.

"Yeah, they are not normal. I feel there is something strange about them."

"What is strange about them?" asked Annabeth

Alex approached a statue and said, "I have to find it now."

Then Alex's eyes started glowing, and a blue pentagram magic circle appeared on his pupils. Seeing Alex's eyes

"Am I the only one seeing this or are Alex's eyes glowing?" asked Percy as he saw Alex's eyes.

"No, Alex's eyes are glowing," said Annabeth

"Do all gods have eyes like that?" asked Percy

"Well, how can we know about God's powers?" asked Grover.

"Yeah," said Annabeth

"Yeah!"

"So what is he doing with the statue?" asked Percy

"How do I know that ?" said Grover observing Alex

While the three were talking

Alex was observing the statue and began to understand it on a molecular level and saw it was all made up of stone.

Alex was able to use his knowledge of the atomic structure of minerals to understand the composition of the statue. He was able to see how it was made up of tiny particles that had been formed together to create a solid structure.

'There is no difference in its molecular structure, it has the same structure as rock'

'So what is the difference about this statue?'

While observing Alex felt traces of magic and observed at a particular spot and saw human DNA. Which was turned into stone.

By using his magical abilities, Alex sensed that a powerful spell had been cast around the statue, which could turn humans into stone. This showed that the statue was not ordinary, which is why Alex detected traces of magic.
