One Hundredth Day Anniversary

AN: Please have a listen to the song called "All for You" by Eunji and Seo In Guk. That will be this chapter's song. Thanks!

"Kim Jinbo! Don't you pass out on me!" A familiar voice was constantly calling out to me and was trying its best to keep me from completely going unconscious.

I thought that I've completely passed out, but it turned out that my vision was just completely hazy and there was a constant ringing in my ear. When I finally came to, the familiar face became clearer. Everything started coming back to me and I remembered what was going on.

"Are you alright?! Are you hurt in any way?!" I started examining Dahyun from head to foot before cupping her face. I was so worried that I started kissing her a bunch of times on the forehead. I forgot that we were both still on stage and were in front of thousands of people. Still, I didn't mind them. Dahyun had a couple scratches on her arm and on her knees. It must be because of the glass shards that hit her. "You're hurt, princess. You should get yourself treated."

Before I could react, a slap echoed from where we were. Dahyun slapped me across the face as she started crying herself onto my chest. I could feel her trembling. She must have been so scared. But before I could talk, she started weakly beating my chest while softly sobbing. "You idiot. You should check yourself first before checking up on me. Stupid. You didn't have to go this far for me. You're crazy."

I smiled wryly. "What are you talking about? I'm perfectly fi-"

A sudden wave of pain washed over me. It was then that I realized that it was coming from the lower end of my body. I turned to look at where the pain was coming from. I gasped at what I saw. To my horror, my right leg was completely crushed by one of the lights and a large shard was sticking out from the side of my stomach. I also felt like my hip was dislocated.

The sight of the medical team and Dominic rushing over to tend to me snapped me back to reality. Dominic had a worried expression on his face and was trying his best to remain calm despite the situation. The rest of the medical team tended to Dahyun and the nearby fans who were caught in the accident were treated and were asked to leave the place calmly.

Dominic took out his first aid kit. He calmly and carefully checked how I was doing "Let's keep the glass on, but we need to get you to a hospital quickly and have it removed there. Your right leg is completely crushed and we need to have the broken bones removed before injecting Seiji-hyung's serum and then give you the bone restructuring treatment. Still, it would take time to heal. At about two weeks the most."

"I think my hip is kind of dislocated." I told him. I was starting to lose consciousness.

He shook his head in response. "You broke it, you idiot. It must have been because of the impact from the fall while you were trying to save Dahyun-ah. Don't you dare pass out. I know it's going to be painful, but you have to bear with it. You said so yourself. 'THIS is better than not doing anything'."

I gave him a wry smile. "You don't have to put it that way."

"Seriously, when can I take a break when it comes to you?" He sighed.

"When I die?" I joked.

He slammed an injection on my shoulder which made me scream in pain. "Try to make that joke again and you'll see what happens. Go on. I dare you."

"I'm sorry, okay? Sheesh!" I tried to laugh but the pain was just excruciating. I then turned to Dahyun who passed out completely from the shock and worry. We didn't want this to happen. Whoever that hacker is, he'll definitely pay for this.

___________

"Seriously, what kind of idiot are you, putting yourself in danger like that?" Matt-hyung asked.

It's been hours since I woke up. They took out the glass shard that was sticking out from the side of my body and started fixing up my foot. The operation took about 16 hours to finish. I was asleep for two days after that. As you can see, the operation was successful but there was still one problem left. We had to reschedule a bunch of tours because of what happened. It wasn't just because of my injury but it was also because of the guy who initiated the attack. He was still on the loose.

It was just Alpha right now inside the hospital room. Although this is Dominic's hospital, he still had to respect the rules and kept a small number of people in the room. This was also because we had a number of things to discuss. The girls are probably still on their way here. Zhang said that Dahyun was crying a lot when he told Chaeyoung that I already woke up. Still, there were a lot of pressing matters at hand and we needed to talk about them before the girls arrived.

"Hyung, you don't have to put it like that. Of course I would put my life on the line for Dahyun-ie. Otherwise, she would definitely have been crushed by those lights if I didn't do anything." I replied with a sigh.

Yo Chul-hyung, who was leaning on a wall with his hands crossed over his chest, spoke. "JayB-ya's right, you know? He did the right thing. But still it was reckless of him to do so."

"I know. But that's not what we should be talking about, is it?" I then redirected the topic.

All of them breathed a sigh of helplessness. They knew that I was just trying to avoid the topic of being reckless. Fortunately, they were professionals and decided to let it go and were willing to put it aside for now to discuss the more important matters. Dominic nodded his head at me. "Alright, while you were sleeping, we went out and tried our best to dig out some things regarding the recent attack. Jeong Do-ya will explain."

As if on cue, Jeong Do took out his holo-tablet and released a couple of holographic files for us to see. "I worked with everyone to try and find out whoever this guy was."

"I barely had enough sleep because of this but it was definitely worth it. The hacker was really good, and was able to cover his tracks at the venue, but we all know that I'm better." Zee started bragging about himself.

Jiwoo rolled his eyes before smacking Zee's back. "Stop bragging and just get on with it."

Zee glared at him while rubbing his back before continuing to speak. "As I was saying, he was only able to hide from us because he basically put up an almost unbreakable firewall in the venue. By the time I was able to crack through the security system he put up, it was already too late."

I digested what Zee was trying to say and understood what he meant. I nodded at him. "You said that it was only at the venue. Does that mean that someone witnessed him outside the venue?"

He gave me a cocky smirk. "Not 'someone', 'some things'."

My eyes widened in surprise as I realized what he was referring to. "CCTVs and Floating Cameras in the city."

Zee snapped his fingers. "Bingo! Jeong Do-hyung asked the authorities for copies of the videos that were filmed that day while Matt-hyung and the others talked to the establishment owners within a 1km radius from the venue, to see if they could give us a copy of their cameras as well."

"Which, they were kind enough to do so." Seiji-hyung continued with a smile on his face.

"How did you convince them?" I asked.

Yo Chul-hyung scoffed. "Seriously? At this point, you're still asking us that question?"

I smiled wryly at them. "Right… You guys have your own 'charm'."

"Let's just call it 'skill', hyung." Jiwoo corrected.

"Fine. So what did you guys see?" I asked, feeling anxious about the answer.

Jeong Do sighed. "Do you want the good news or the bad news?"

"There's bad news?" I asked while doing a facepalm.

"Bad news then." Jeong Do cut me off before I could say anything and started explaining the situation. "We did find the guy, but he was wearing a very tight disguise and the clothes tracking software that Zee developed wouldn't work on him. He practically covered himself pretty well."

"Okay… so what's the good news?" I became more anxious seeing that we had no leads whatsoever.

Zee shook his head. "Although we have no solid leads, we did see the guy get on his get away van before disappearing out of nowhere."

"That's the good news?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Let me finish." Zee glared at me before he continued speaking. "The van had a company logo."

I chuckled. "The vehicle was probably stolen."

Everyone turned to each other and were looking so anxious. Jeong Do bit his lip. "We thought so too, until we found out who it belonged to."

"Who?" I nervously asked.

Jeong Do gulped. "Kim Group… more specifically… you're uncle's branch of the business."

I sat up straight from the shock and hurt myself. The rest of the group help me lean on the head board of the bed. "That's impossible… Kim Doram is in jail. We made sure of that."

"He is, but apparently, he wasn't the ringmaster for everything." Matt-hyung continued.

My eyes widened and I could slowly feel my breath being taken away. I was having a mini panic attack. After composing myself, I then continued to ask them. "Then who is it?"

Seiji-hyung sighed. "We don't know. But whoever that person is, he must have been very powerful to manipulate your uncle like that."

"Someone stronger…" I mumbled trying to think of who it was.

"CONGRATULATIONS JAYB-YA!~" Nayeon barged in the door and yelled out loud. We all just stared at her which made her lower all the balloons she was bringing along. "Why are you guys looking at me like that? Did we come in at a bad time?"

Dominic immediately shifted the mood by going towards Nayeon and getting the balloons from her. "Ya… Nayeon-ie. You should keep it down! This is a hospital!"

Everyone laughed at how Dominic and Nayeon started bickering, but they all started to go quiet as Dahyun entered the room. Seeing this, Matt-hyung tried to get everyone out. "We should give this two some time to talk."

"See you in a few." Momo said as she patted my shoulder before the rest of Alpha and Twice left Dahyun and I inside the room.

There was an awkward atmosphere inside the room as we didn't know what to say. Both of us were probably contemplating on what we needed to tell each other. Dahyun couldn't even look me in the eye. She was just staring down on the foot of my bed while standing up. It was obvious that she was thinking too much and it was making her anxious as she was playing with her fingers.

I chuckled at the sight. "Why don't you sit down?"

She then snapped her head at me as she realized that she was just standing there awkwardly. She sat on the couch that was far from my bed and she walked towards it awkwardly quickly too. It made me stifle a laugh. "Not there, silly. Sit beside me."

Dahyun was surprisingly hesitant at first but she gladly obeyed and sat on the stool beside my bed. The only problem was that she still wasn't looking at me. I slowly reached my hand out and patted her head gently. "You must have been very worried."

There was a short silence before she slowly nodded her head. It broke my heart. She must have been blaming herself for what happened. "I'm sorry. There was just no other way."

"It's not that… it's just… It was my fault, wasn't it?" She muttered.

I slowly lifted her chin up to make her look at me. I gave her a warm smile. "It wasn't. I promise you that it wasn't. No one could have seen that coming. Besides, I did it to save you. If I had a chance to do it all over again, I'd still choose to come and save you."

"But you almost died… again…" Dahyun was starting to sob.

"I'm sorry if I made you worry." I just apologized since I didn't know what else to say to her. She just nodded in response. I then wiped her tears. "Tell you what. When I get out of here, let's have a date… just the two of us."

"Can you even walk?" She asked in between her sobs but I could see her eyes sparkle the moment I asked her out on a date..

I chuckled at how quickly she became excited over a simple invitation. "Dominic said that if I would do my best during my rehabilitation like Zhang did, I'd probably be able to walk in two weeks' time."

"Two weeks?" Dahyun began to frown.

"Why? What's wrong?" I asked her.

"It's nothing." She replied.

"You frowning like that means there's something." I pouted.

She giggled as she tried to wipe away her tears and prevented herself from crying even more. "It's because of this."

Dahyun handed me her phone with an email coming from her manager. After reading the contents of the email, I snap my head towards her. "Woah! Are you saying that this is in two weeks?"

She nodded slightly. "Yeah. I got that on the day of the incident."

I smiled brightly. "I better do my best during my rehab then."

Dahyun raised her eyebrow at me. "Really? We're filming together again. Are you that excited over filming for the show more than our date?"

"Don't feel bad. This is a chance for me to show the world how much I love you. Isn't that great?' I replied excitedly.

"But our date…" She pouted.

"That's not a problem at all. We can have another date after the filming." I replied.

She smiled before clinging onto me and doing aegyo. "Should we go to a dog cafe then?"

_________

"Oh! Weren't you supposed to be resting?" Dahyun laughed as she entered our dance studio to surprise me.

We were back in Seoul again. After two stressful weeks of rehab, I can finally somewhat walk again. I can dance but it still feels a bit painful when I do so. Technically, I still can't do much. According to Dominic, I still need about a week more of resting and rehab to completely gain 90% of my legs functionality. Considering what happened, 90% is better than no chance of recovery at all. In the previous world, I would have been crippled and would have to rely on people to move around. Thanks to this world's extremely advanced technology, I recovered way too fast and have achieved great results with my rehab.

On the other side of the spectrum, we still have no idea who the hacker is or who he works for. Zee already worked his butt off to try and find the guy. The rest of my members also did their part. Sadly, their efforts were going nowhere. Still, we didn't give up. It was also hard to focus on finding the guy since we've decided as a group to continue with the US tour without me. Two weeks and several cities left. The end of our tour is coming up which is why I did my best to at least be able to perform in the remaining cities.

Today, it was just about me and Dahyun. Youra-noona was really happy to finally film with us again after not being able to film for a long time. The cameras were rolling as soon as she entered the room. We were meeting at our studio today since Twice had an early schedule to practice for their comeback. I've already prepared their album beforehand and recorded it with them as soon as I got back three days ago. Now, they just need to work on their choreography. With PD-nim's permission, Dahyun was allowed to have the rest of the day off. Well technically, she'd still be working, but this filming isn't really "work" for both of us.

"Yeah, but I just needed some exercise." I replied to Dahyun with a forced smile.

Dahyun sighed while wiping off the sweat from my face. "Are you still trying to distract yourself?"

I frowned as she said that. "You know how it is. I really disappointed our fans for not being able to perform during our concert."

It was still honestly bugging me. The fact that I didn't think this far ahead is just depressing. My thoughts during the time of the incident was solely focused on protecting and keeping Dahyun safe. I didn't even think of the consequences afterwards. It's not that I'm regretting my decision in putting my girlfriend first. No, of course not. That would never happen. It's just that I wish I could have protected myself while saving her as well. That way, I could have still gone and performed at all our concerts.

Dahyun then cupped my face with the towel on her hands and rubbed it wildly. She giggled before stopping. "Hubby… I'm pretty sure your fans would understand."

This was definitely a lie. Dahyun was not doing any better than I did. She got bashed and criticized online. She was blamed by some of my so-called "fans" because of the incident. I know that she's showing me this bright and warm side of her, but I know deep down underneath that facade, she was in pain.

Because of these thoughts, I unconsciously went and hugged her which caught her off guard. She giggled while hugging me back. "What's this? Are you okay now?"

I nodded. "Better, now that you're here."

She quickly pulled away from the hug and cringed. "That was so cheesy."

"But you love it when I'm being cheesy." I cocked an eyebrow at her while smirking.

She narrowed her eyes. "I know… but why do it now."

"I just felt like it." I shrugged.

Dahyun laughed. "You're so random."

"I just wanted to lighten up the mood." I replied.

"Well, it worked." She pinched my cheek before hugging me from the side and leaning on my shoulder. "So, what are we doing today?"

"Remember that demo I sent you a few days ago? The one that I told you to memorize and be familiar with?" I asked.

She pulled away and looked at me curiously. "Yeah? What about it?"

"We're going to record it." I gave her a wide smile.

"That's your idea of a date? Come on, loverboy. We just finished recording our album days ago, and now, you want to go into the studio to record again?" Dahyun complained.

I gave her a wry smile. "Actually… It's not me who wants us to record… I only wrote the song."

"Really? Then who?" Dahyun asked.

Moments after Dahyun asked that question, a person shyly came into the room which startled Dahyun. The person then greeted us. "Good afternoon."

"I'm glad you could make it, kamdong-nim." I went over and shook his hand.

He was obviously a shy person. He then bowed deeply while shaking my hand. "Please, I'm honored to even be here and to work with a talented producer like you."

After the pleasantries, I then turned to Dahyun and introduced the man to her. "Dahyun-ie, this is Lee Woojung. He is-"

"Oh my God! Lee Woojung?! You mean the writer of all the Reply KDrama series?!" Dahyun suddenly became lively after I introduced the writer to him. I wasn't even finished with the introductions but Dahyun quickly rushed over to introduce herself. "It's a pleasure to meet you, kamdong-nim. I'm Kim Dahyun. I'm a huge fan of your work."

"I-I'm glad that I will get to work with a fan on this project. And please, the pleasure is all mine. I've heard many great things about you from JayB-ssi after all." Woojung said.

Dahyun then gave me a weird look before she shakily said. "W-Wait… D-Don't tell me. The s-song you wrote… is…"

"Yup. That's right. It's for the upcoming new korean drama for Reply 1997." I replied nonchalantly.

She covered her mouth as she gasped in surprise. "No way…"

"Yes way." Woojung said while nodding approvingly.

Dahyun then slapped my shoulder while pouting. "You should have told me that it was for this! You know how much I love this drama!"

I chuckled so far. "Well then, since we're all excited about working together, shall we head to the studio?"

____________

"Waa… that was pretty exhausting." Dahyun plopped onto the sofa inside my studio.

We just finished the first half of the shoot for today and will shoot the second half days later for the next half of the episode. It was also getting more difficult to move around because of the threat that we faced back in Hong Kong. Not only that, we also became very busy because of the tour.

Dahyun was right. The shoot was pretty much exhausting since it involved a lot of acting and planning for the song. It required a lot of brainpower just to pull this one off. It was especially true for Dahyun since she was not used to singing ballads. She's a rapper and a sub vocal after all. Still, she went beyond my expectation as she easily sang her lines for the song.

It was just us two in the studio now. The crew for We Got Married and the writer for the drama were long gone. I was in the post process with editing and finalising the song. The writer was pretty much satisfied with the outcome and trusted me enough to finish with the post processing work. According to him, he knew that my career reputation was on the line and he definitely knew that I wouldn't disappoint him. With that much pressure, I definitely didn't want to let him down on that.

"But you enjoyed it, didn't you?" I said while fixing my eyes on the computer's holo screen while doing some minor tweaking to the song.

She sneaked up behind me and hugged me from behind. "I did. I was with you after all."

I smirked while still focused on the screen. "Thought so."

"You're quite busy. What are you doing now?" Dahyun asked while still hugging me from behind. She then gave a peck on my cheek.

Her gesture made me chuckle. "I'm trying to get rid of the shaky notes that you sang a while ago. Your nerves were so obvious that I was barely able to keep myself from laughing."

Dahyun's mouth fell agape as she hit me lightly on my shoulder. "YA! I couldn't help it, okay?! You were directing it and one of my favorite writers was listening to the recording!"

"Still, you should have acted professionally." I teased as I made the final adjustments.

"I can't believe you. Should I just go and leave you here?" She crossed her arms and raised her eyebrow at me. Men, when a lady does this to you, you know that you should just shut up and try to please her.

"Okay, okay! I was just kidding." I stood up and gave her a tight hug after I saved the file.

She then pulled me away from the hug. "Wait, are you done?"

"Uhuh. So I'm all yours." I replied.

Dahyun gave me a wide smile. "Really? That was fast."

"I thought you were used to it already. So what do you want to do now?" I asked.

She then pondered for a while before she asked. "Can I listen to the song first?"

I chuckled. "You don't have to worry. I made sure that you'd sound well."

"YA!" Dahyun then hit me again while pouting at me.

"I'm kidding! I'm kidding! Of course you can listen to it." Without waiting for her to reply, I tapped on the spacebar button to play the song.

Dahyun started to ease up as she sat down with me and listened to the song patiently. She was leaning on my chest while my left arm was hugging her completely. We were both focused on the song.

"Not bad. I didn't know that I'd sound good in a ballad." She admitted.

"Well, I knew it all along. That's why I agreed to do this project." I smiled at her while playing with her hair.

She then turned to me slowly. "How could you possibly know when I didn't even know myself?"

Because I've been with you the entire time in the previous world. Of course I know your strengths that you yourself don't even know. I've watched you grow from a girl into the talented woman that you actually are. I've seen you slowly build your confidence from scratch as you always thought less of yourself. I've seen it all. But I can't tell you that, can I?

I snapped out of my thoughts and gave her a reassuring smile. "Oh please, I've worked with you since SIXTEEN. I've seen what you are capable of. And you're capable of more."

"Really now? Well if you say so, then I'll have to trust your words." She giggled.

"Who knew that we'd end up like this, right? I mean, you used to loathe me." I suddenly blurted out.

She raised her eyebrow at me while she continued giggling. "I didn't 'loathe' you. We just had quite a bit of a misunderstanding."

"Still, I'm grateful that you gave me a chance. I'm still not sure if I'm deserving of it." I smiled wryly.

Dahyun sighed. "You know you do."

I gave her a smile, and unconsciously, I sang to her the song that was playing in the background.

[You don't know but it was a bit hard for me

Am I the right person for you?

And even if I'm not the one but it's another person

I want to throw that away that feeling now]

Just before I could continue, Dahyun was about to cry when she cupped my face and sang along with me as we sang in a duet.

[For you, only for you

I might not be able to give you the whole world but

Now I will promise only to you

I will be a person who is only for you

It's only for you just wanna be for you

You just need to stay by my side as you are right now

Even if I'm born again,

I want to look at only you forever.]

She then pressed her lips gently with mine before she continued singing the song.

[Love - in my small heart

Oh love - I want to fill it up with your scent]

I stood up and offered my hand to her. I wanted to dance with her in a slow waltz and just enjoy this moment for a while.

[So even if I'm eternally trapped inside

I can be happy

For you!]

She gladly took it and just wrapped her hands around my neck and I did the same to her waist. We were both lost in each other's eyes as we waltzed slowly to the upbeat song that fit the moment.

[For you, only for you

I might not be able to give you the whole world but

Now I will promise only to you

I will be a person who is only for you

It's only for you just wanna be for you

You just need to stay by my side as you are right now

Even if I'm born again,

I want to look at only you forever.]

As the song came to a stop, the silent room magnified the sound of our beating hearts. Dahyun slowly leaned in for a kiss and we both stayed like that for a while as we continued to take dominance in the kiss. Soon, we ran out of breath and Dahyun pulled away first as she cleared her throat.

"That was a beautiful song. What was your inspiration for writing this?" Dahyun asked as she tried to avoid my gaze. She was truly embarrassed about what just happened. Seriously, we've been dating for a while now and she still blushes madly everytime this happens.

I chuckled at how cute she was being before I answered plainly. "You. I wrote this while thinking of you."

Not being able to take it anymore, Dahyun turned around and grabbed her stuff. "We should go and have our dinner. We have a long day tomorrow so we should rest early tonight."

"Ya… Kim Dahyun. We've been dating for a while now. Are you still shy even just with a kiss like that?" Dahyun jerked as soon as she heard my question. Without turning back, she immediately went out of a room like a baby that was caught stealing a cookie from the cookie jar. I laughed at how adorable she was being while trying to avoid the subject and went after her. "YA! Kim Dahyun!"

_______________

"Waa… She's late today. Their practice must be taking some time." I muttered as I fiddled with my phone.

Dahyun was late for some reason. I was waiting for her to arrive in the cafe right across JYP Entertainment's main building. The cameras for We Got Married were already rolling. That was why I was pretty much careful as to what I had to say. Although I'm sure Director Youra isn't evil enough to expose these things, it still doesn't hurt to be careful.

"Hubby! I'm sorry for being so late! We had an emergency meeting with PD-nim regarding our comeback." Dahyun said in between her panting. She must have ran towards here.

"No worries. I didn't wait long anyway. Why don't you sit down first." I gave a small peck on the cheek before asking her to sit.

Dahyun giggled and nearly forgot that the cameras were already rolling. She then blushed from embarrassment. "Thanks, hubby."

I gave her a smile and chuckled. "Is there something wrong with the songs for the album? Are there any issues with the post editing results?"

She waved it off in a hurry. "No! Not at all! PD-nim was really happy with how it turned out! He's sure that 'What is Love' is going to be a hit next year."

"Next year? Why not this year?" I asked.

"The marketing team had a lot of great ideas. I even heard that you were the one who suggested most of it. They wanted to work on it and fully utilize it. The ideas were really out of this world that they didn't want to rush things. That's why we agreed to push things back and just have our comeback next year." Dahyun explained.

"Out of this world, huh? If I knew this would happen, I could have given you a better song, you know?" I chuckled as I leaned on my palm.

Dahyun imitated me before raising her eyebrow at me. "Are you saying that this isn't the best that you've got? This song got me so many lines. Even Chaeyoung-ah was jealous and thought that you were playing favorites."

I laughed at what she said. "Really? I wasn't favoring you over them. You know my work ethics. I always put the best people for the best lines."

She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, right. You even yelled at me several times when I was rapping my lines."

"You were out of rhythm." I snorted.

Just before we could start bickering, one of the cameramen handed us a red envelope. This must be our mission for today.

"What's it say?" Dahyun asked as I opened the envelope.

"A housewarming party?" My eyes widened in surprise.

"Are we finally having that?! It's about time!" Dahyun clapped excitedly.

"I guess we're going to be busy today." I told her.

Dahyun laughed. "When weren't we busy anyway?"

"I can't remember the last time I actually had a break." I told her.

She smiled. "What about the time when you were doing rehab for your legs and was in the hospital for 2 weeks?"

"You call that a break? It was so stressful! I had to do my best with the rehabilitation process." I chuckled.

"Well, I guess we can still call this a break anyway." She was still positive about this.

I sighed. "Anway, what's the plan for today? Should we buy take out food or should we cook for them?"

"We should cook for them. It's our custom to do so." Dahyun answered.

"Since you know so much about this, what do you want to cook for them?" I asked her.

She pondered for a while. "I don't know. Anything in mind?"

"How about… tofu?" I joked.

She burst out laughing. "Are you kidding me? That's cannibalism for me."

We continued laughing before I seriously gave my thoughts. "Well, I know how to cook seafood pasta and bulgogi. I think that would work."

"Ooh! I like that! How about grilling samgyupsal while having this?" Dahyun's eyes sparkled with these thoughts.

It made me chuckle. "Sounds good. Anything else?"

"Nope. I think that's all for the food I guess." She shook her head in response.

"Alright. We should also decorate the place." I suggested.

She nodded in response. "That sounds good. Should we prepare like take away gifts too?"

"I like that idea. What should we give our guests?" I asked as I listed the things we needed to do in a notebook.

"How about we make something? Like customised cupcakes?" Dahyun suggested while going through her phone.

I snapped my fingers. "That's perfect. There's a confectionary cafe near our house. Let's go there after we buy everything."

"Beautifur! Let's do that then." Dahyun excitedly clapped.

"So who are we inviting? Obviously, your group would be there." I asked.

She gave a wry smile. "Do they have to?"

"What in the world are you saying? Of course! They would SHOULD be there." I laughed while reacting to her. I knew where this was going.

"But they'll just end up teasing us." She complained.

"Wouldn't that be great?" I joked.

Her eyes widened. "What do you mean great?! Are you a masochist?!"

I burst out laughing. "Alright! It's up to you then. As for me, the members are probably heading to Mexico by now."

"How about your 95 line friends?" She asked.

"The sudden invitation might not work for them but I'll try." I replied before I started making calls. I tried calling my 95 friends but they were really busy either preparing for a comeback or were in another country. I also called other friends just in case. In the end, only Sungjae and Joy gave their confirmation.

"Well that sucks." I complained.

Dahyun held my hand. "Hey, at least Sooyoung-noona and Sungjae-oppa can come."

"Yeah. You're right. Besides, it's easier to clean up when there are less people." I tried to cheer myself up.

After a few more calls and finalising everything, we started making our way out to the grocery store with the crew and our bodyguards. We were in separate vehicles. I was in the car with just Dahyun and me in it. The rest of the crew were either following us or were ahead of us. Along the way, Dahyun was really quiet for some reason. Since the cameras weren't rolling yet, I leaned in to whisper to her. "Is everything okay?"

Dahyun snapped out of her thoughts and turned to me with a smile. "It's nothing. I was just thinking about the upcoming comeback."

"Don't worry about it too much. I'm sure you'll do great." I reassured her.

She gave me a smile before looking ahead with a serious face. It was getting even more awkward now because of the silence. I tried my best to focus on driving instead. As soon as we arrived in front of the store, she stayed still and was not getting out of the car. She then turned to me. "Aren't we forgetting something?"

Curious, I turned to her with my eyebrows raised. I quickly searched my pockets and bag. "No… did we?"

A sigh escaped her lips. "It's nothing. I probably was overthinking. Let's go."

Shrugging it off, I went out of the car and slowly walked with her to Youra-noona who was going to give us instructions for our shoot. The rest of the time was just fun and laughter as if the conversation in the car didn't happen. We speedily made our errands while the crew filmed us. We made sure to get everything from the food, the decorations and the take away gifts. Little did we know that time was already against us.

As soon as we got home, we started with the preparations right away. I immediately began cooking while Dahyun was rushing to decorate the backyard and was setting the table and chairs. We weren't really communicating much since we were both busy with our individual tasks. The only time we actually started talking was when we were making the cupcakes.

There was laughter in the air as we played with the cream and icing which got us really dirty and messy. We had to quickly clean it up and get change because our guests would soon arrive. After making sure that everything was set, we both collapsed on the sofa as the filming continued.

"Phew! Who knew that preparing a housewarming party would take so long and would take so much effort?" Dahyun complained.

I chuckled. "At least you're only getting married once, right?"

Dahyun rolled her eyes. "Whatever."

"You're really cute." I suddenly said out loud.

Blushing madly, Dahyun then changed the topic as she stood up and started to go through her stuff. "A-Anyway… I have something for you. We've been so busy today that I forgot to give it to you when we met earlier today?"

"What is it? You know that you don't have to give me anything." I told her with a smile.

She sighed. "I know but I want to anyway."

"Okay. My interest is piqued." I smiled as I started to approach her.

"Wait. Stay there and close your eyes." She chuckled. I obediently did what she asked me to do. I could feel her approaching me. Dahyun then took a deep breath before letting it all out. "I know that you're really rich and you can easily buy off anything you want."

"Well, I can't buy your love out, can I Dahyun-ah?" I joked.

"Let me finish." She seriously said. I then quickly shut my mouth and smiled at her. She then continued. "So… knowing that, I asked myself what the best gift was for you. So here it is. You can open your eyes now."

As soon as I did, I chuckled with what I saw. "Aren't we a little too old for love letters?"

Dahyun narrowed her eyes at me. "Are you serious right now?"

"I'm kidding. I'm kidding." I quickly took the blue envelope from her and read the contents of the letters. My eyes widened in surprise.

She smiled as she realised that I liked the gift. "These are wish coupons. You can use them anytime you want with no restrictions. As long as I can fulfill them, I'll do it."

I gave her a sudden hug. "You don't know how much this means to me. It's not about the wishes, but it's because of the thought that you put into this gift. I knew it wasn't easy to come up with this. That's why I really appreciate it."

I pulled away from the hug before leaning in to kiss her. Just then, the doorbell rang. We both looked at each other before composing ourselves. We were already in the mood. Dahyun then cleared her throat. "Isn't it a bit early for them to arrive? I wonder who it is?"

"You stay here. I'll go get the door." I said before I made my way to see who it was. As soon as I saw who it was from the camera monitor near the door, I immediately started laughing. "Dahyun-ah, I think you should get this one yourself."

"Why? Who is it?" She asked in a curious tone.

I just gave her a smile which she shrugged off and started proceeding to the door. As soon as she opened the door, a bunch of party poppers sounded which startled her. Soon, the room was filled with giggle and teasing as her members started coming in. We soon greeted each other before I asked them to sit down and make themselves comfortable. I offered them refreshments while we had small talk.

"Have you tried spending time here when the cameras weren't rolling?" Nayeon joked before everyone started laughing. Dahyun was blushing madly from embarrassment.

I chuckled and joked. "That's a secret."

Everyone erupted in excitement and screams as they started teasing Dahyun even more. Just as we were getting more into it, the doorbell rang again. This time, Joy and Sungjae arrived. Since we were all here, we decided to start eating. Dahyun and I slowly brought them to the backyard where everything was prepared. The grill was set and the food was beautifully placed on the table. It looked like the feast despite the number of dishes available. Still the table looked a bit empty without my members.

Nonetheless, we started shoving food in our mouths and enjoyed our time. It was obvious that everyone was hungry since no one was talking. It was only when Joy asked a question that the silence broke. "Jinbo-ya, do you have any wishes at this specific time?"

I thought about it and there was actually one wish that I had in mind. "I know that it's not their fault, but I wish that my members were here. I really missed them. Although it's annoying to spend time with them in the same room sometimes, I still miss them, you know?"

"Annoying, huh?" A voice came from behind me. I turned around to see Dominic and the rest of Alpha with him.

"Guys! You're here!" I was genuinely surprised.

Zee then sighed. "He says he's annoyed by us?"

Jiwoo then shook his head. "Should we just fly back to Mexico."

I smiled wryly. "You know I was just-"

Before I could finish, they started tackling me as they pinned me to the ground. They then started tickling me. I even thought that I was going to die from laughter. After the teasing, they helped me up and I was starting to get emotional. "I thought you guys were heading for Mexico."

"Yeah, well, our brother was having a housewarming party. We can't just sit still and not crash it." Jeong Do joked.

"Also, our manager lied to you. We actually knew about the housewarming party." Yo Chul-hyung said.

Matt-hyung chuckled. "Which is why we didn't tell you that we were having the week off instead of heading directly to Mexico."

Dominic then started squeezing my shoulder. "Also, I need to check on my patient too. Dahyun-ah has been telling me that you've been tiring yourself out instead of resting."

"W-What? O-Of course not!" I replied before turning to Dahyun. "You told him?"

She shrugged it off. "Hey, you wouldn't listen to me."

"Dahyun-ah…" I panicked before slowly turning my head to Dominic again.

"We'll have a talk after your party." Dominic smiled evilly.

Seiji-hyung then went between us and placed his arms on the both of us. "Now, now. We're here to party. Let's save it after that. Look! Zhang-ah's already burying himself with pasta?"

We all looked to where Zhang was and he was already being fed by Chaeyoung. He then turned to us with a clueless look. "What?"

"What an awesome party!" Tzuyu yelled out. I think she's drunk.

We were already inside the house since it was starting to get dark and cold outside. We then played a few games. Drinking games to be exact. The reason why Tzuyu was being like this was because she was always losing. Jiwoo, who was also not a good drinker, had to cover for her. They both ended up drunk.

"Are you seriously Tzuyu-ya right now?" Jihyo chuckled while shaking her head.

Chaeyoung then shushed Jihyo. She was probably drunk too. "Don't tell her that. We rarely see our maknae being like this. I honestly want to thank this show for it."

The group laughed as we continued to drink some more before calling it a night. Before we knew it, it was just Dahyun and me inside the house. She was pretty much almost drunk too. I, on the other hand, was perfectly fine. The cameras were still rolling and she was completely passed out on the couch. I hope Youra-noona was not going to reveal this part.

Seeing that Dahyun was having trouble resting, I decided to cover her up with a blanket before I started cleaning the place up. A few minutes later, she got up and sobered up. She then realised that we were still filming.

"I'm sorry. I completely passed out." Dahyun called out which surprised me.

"No worries. You just continue resting there. I'll be there in a sec. I just need to finish cleaning the table outside." I replied in a chuckle.

She started fixing her hair. "Are you sure? I can help you, you know?"

"You had practice earlier today. Not only that, we also went grocery shopping. You decorated the place AND had to entertain our guests. So it's totally fine." I insisted.

Dahyun started getting up, which made me walk towards her and sit her down. "But I want to help."

"Don't be stubborn now. I'm fine. Here. I prepared this just in case." I sat her down and handed her a cup of hot chocolate. After I finished cleaning the place, I sat beside her on the couch.

"Thank you." She suddenly said.

"For what?" I asked.

She turned to me and smiled. "For everything. For loving me, taking care of me, and even protecting me."

"Come on. It's the least I can do for you." I told her as I moved a little closer to her.

Dahyun then gave a small smile before turning her gaze to the cup of coffee. "Listen… about earlier. What I said in the car… I'm sorry."

"So you were bothered by that? Don't worry about it." I assured her.

"No. It's just…" She sighed before she continued. "We missed our 100th day anniversary."

"Oh… that…" I replied sadly.

She then put the cup on the table and held both of my hands. "I know that it's just a small thing but we don't know for how long we'll be on this show together. I just…"

"What are you talking about? Well, still be together after all these ends, right?" I continued to assure her.

Dahyun smiled at me before she caressed my face. "Promise me you won't put yourself in danger."

"I can't promise that. You know I can't. If it means protecting you, I'll definitely break it. But I can guarantee you this." I replied before pulling out a small white envelope with a heart on it from my pocket.

She was a bit confused as to what it was. Dahyun took it and read the contents of the letter. "No way…"

"I know that it isn't much but… I also got you a wish coupon for our 100th day anniversary supposedly." I smiled wryly while scratching the back of my head.

Dahyun then turned to me with teary eyes. "You mean… you never forgot about it?"

"What do you mean? Of course I remembered it. I was even racking my brain out on what to give you since I'm running out of ideas." I chuckled.

She hugged the letter. "Thank you. But is it okay if I only take one?"

I raised an eyebrow at her. "Umm… most people would usually want unlimited wishes, yet you only want one?"

"What are you talking about? I already have you, what else would I need?" Dahyun gave a cute smile while tears rolled down her eyes.

"Alright. If you say so." I replied.

Caught up in the moment, we both leaned in for a kiss and started to make out. Each kiss got us longing for one another even more. It was as if we were giving each other the assurance that we belong to each other and nothing could take that away from us.

Meanwhile…

"Umm… Youra Kamdong-nim, aren't we going to stop them." One of the cameramen asked.

"Shh! Let's stop rolling and leave quietly. We don't want to disturb them! If anyone would bother them, I'll deduct your salary for this month!" Director Youra whispered-yelled. She then turned to us with a loving smile. "They deserve this after what awaits them."
