twelve // hoseok

Hoseok squinted his eyes as he was met with the familiar buildings surrounding him. The walls were covered in cheap graffiti and signs of horrible art works, but this was the only place he actually felt like he didn't have to live up to his family's expectations. It was a place only they knew, almost like it didn't exist.

The signature smell of bonfire, paint and alcohol lingered in the air.Hoseok smiled to himself, this was a good sign. Maybe the night wouldn't be that bad after all.

"Jimin,I swear this place isn't hunted. Stop talking nonsense," Yoongi scolded at the younger one. Jimin shout his mouth, thinking for a second.

"But what about that one time we-," Yoongi stopped him in his mid-sentence. He sent Jimin a glare, one of those who could kill.

JaeHwa had been quite quiet all night. Hoseok didn't expect her to belike this. He had hoped she was the wild type. She sure seemed like it. She would talk to Jin every now and then, and laugh at their embarrassing stories, but other than that she just sat there.

Jungkook had been talking to Hoseok all night. His arm carefully wrapped around this hyung's shoulder, almost like he was making sure he won't run away. Hoseok enjoyed the younger's presence. He really did, but this intimacy was driving him crazy.

Hoseok stood up, leaving the younger one to the others. He just had to take some "fresh air". He was already outside so by fresh air he meant some time for himself.

He walked until he reached a wall covered with colourful spray paint, laying down on the mattress pushed against it. It was peaceful. He started rapping to himself as he looked up at the beautiful coloured sky. It wasn't anything impressing, nor was it loud, but it still made him feel good.

He stopped when he heard footsteps. He sat up to face Jae Hwa. She was standing there, looking beautiful, with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth.

She gave him an awkward wave as if she was asking him if it was okay for her to stay. Hoseok gave her a nod. She immediately ran over and sat down beside him on the old mattress.

"You okay?" she asked, turning to look at him. It almost looked like she cared. Hoseok mentally kicked himself. She did not care, don't disappoint yourself, he thought.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Hoseok smiled cheekily. Jae Hwa stepped on the cigarette, turning her fully attention to the lonely guy in front of her. She chuckled to herself, as if she found it funny that he tried his best to act fine.

"You don't have to act like you're fine, pretty boy. It's nothing wrong with being in love, and liking the same sex," she said lightly pushing his shoulder, wriggling her eyebrows.

Hoseok furrowed his eyebrows. "What are you talking about?" he asked her utterly confused, almost angry.

"I saw you and your friend earlier, jungkook right? You guys look really cute together," she giggled. If it hadn't been for the fact that she thought he was into his dongsaeng, he would have admired her cuteness, but not right now.

"I do not like jungkook," he tried to explain. She sent him the biggest smile. "You don't have to be ashamed, pretty boy. Just accept it," she said patting his back.

Hoseok laid back down on the mattress, groaning loudly. Jae Hwa chuckled at his actions. If she only knew.
