thirteen // jae hwa

Jae Hwa didn't know why she found it so funny to tempt Hoseok. Maybe it was because it was the only way she could gain attention from him, or maybe it was the way he got so utterly frustrated, but either way she still found it pretty amusing.

She could admit that she might have taken the joke too far last week by teasing him about his adorable relationship with Jungkook. They were the cutest. Jungkook was always there for his hyung, holding out a helping hand or just cheering on him. Jae Hwa found it extremely cute, but she had started regretting her comment after seeing how distant Hoseok had been from Jungkook this past week. What had she done?

She decided to do something about the matter and grabbed Hoseok by his arm, pulling him into an empty classroom. It was lunch, and practically every classroom was empty so she picked the first one she saw. Hoseok groaned as his back hit the wall behind him. Jae Hwa looked at him questioningly.

"What do you want?" Hoseok asked as emotionless as always. Jae Hwa cleared her throat. "How's life?"

Hoseok looked at her for a second before breaking out in fits of laughter. "Did you drag me into this classroom only to ask me this pointless question? I bet you just wanted to see my handsome face," Hoseok commented smirking, as he touched his face with his hands.

"Do you want me to tell the school how much you adore me? I can tell them you dragged me inside here to confess you dying love to me," he looked satisfied with his own comments. Jae Hwa smiled to herself before grabbing the left side of his jacket, pulling him closer to herself. Her heart was beating, fast and furious, and she held her breath for a second.

"I bet you I can tell the whole school about your lovely relationship with Jungkook before that happens so I advise you to shut your mouth and listen," Jae Hwa spat sassily. Hoseok looked quite taken back by her sudden sassiness. She didn't blame him. She was quite surprised herself.

Hoseok watched her with his big brown eyes. She hadn't noticed how dark they was before now. They still shone bright and beautiful. It was hard to concentrate with those two gems watching every movement she made.

"Don't make Jungkook suffer. I see you, Jung Hoseok. I will be watching you so you better start treating him like a real hyung should do," Jae Hwa said. She was not going to watch him. It was just a useless threat, but he didn't know that so it didn't matter.

Hoseok grabbed her wrists and spun her around, so her back was pressed against the wall and not his. Jae Hwa gasped in surprise. She did not expect that. He had a smirk on his face. The famous smirk of Jung Hoseok. And she swore that in that moment he looked like a true devil, and she was close to losing her sanity. How could a human being manage to look so cool, yet so dangerous.

"I advise you to stop lecturing me, and go back to your best friend, Jin. If not I will make you suffer. Go before I change my mind," Hoseok spat.

Jae Hwa almost choked on her salvia. His words were harsh, and his voice had changed. It was almost as if he was another person. This normally would be the point where she stayed away from him, but she wanted to get to know him. She had to break through his walls.
