Noah picked up the phone quite fast. As soon as their call connected, Jessica's voice turned sweet like watermelon. She literally whined in a melting voice,
" Brother Noah...Am I disturbing you?"
Noah replied while rubbing his aching forehead,
" No, Jessica! What's up with you?"
He was already sounding tired after having a lot of works in a single day. Although, Jessica detected it from his voice, she could care less. As long as her mission was accomplished, she wasn't going to give up. Jessica muttered innocently,
" Brother Noah..Can..you come to pick me up from a restaurant? Actually, my driver is on vacation. So, I have to go back to my home alone. It's too late and I am kinda scared. Can.. can you come? If you can't, it's okay too..."
Noah immediately switched into his serious mood. As they grew up together like close friends, he naturally felt responsible towards her. So, he agreed without hesitation, leaving all his works unfinished,
