The Battle Between Humanity and Instincts

I stared at my clone challenging me and I didn't know what to do. Over the years, I have met many Kaiju, and this monster in front of me was definitely not made by aliens. He also did not look like a creature that appeared naturally. If it was of natural origin, I should have felt it earlier, and it really looked sick. Only humans could have made this giant turtle. But to be sure, I'll need to find where it came from.

The screams of people behind me brought me to my senses. I turned my head back and saw that the people who had not yet run away were screaming and panicking. There were not many of them, but they fled on foot because the streets were completely filled with cars. Even on the sidewalks there were many abandoned cars.

I needed to drive this monster back into the burning city. Not a single living person could remain in this city, because it was covered with fire and smoke. Houses burned both outside and inside. It would be ideal to drive the beast to the ocean, but it was very difficult.

ROOAAAARRR

I took a step forward and growled at him. My muscles tensed and I tried to rise above my opponent to scare him by showing the difference between us. I was ready for a fight. I was not afraid, but the very fact of fighting in the city stressed me out, I really did not like to do it.

The monster also took a few more steps forward and gasped for air. I knew what he was going to do, but I didn't have time to react.

GRAAHHHHHHHSSHSHHS

Red flames with a hint of orange shot out of his mouth. It aimed at me at first, but then it lowered its head and began to pour flames down my legs.

NOOOOO!

I screamed in my mind because he wasn't targeting me, he was targeting the people behind me! I reflexively ducked and tried to catch the fire or somehow stop it, but it just wrapped around my arms and continued on without any delay.

The red sea of fire continued to pour on the ground and spread in all directions. The flames were hot enough to melt metal. It flows rapidly absorbing everything in its path. Trees turned to ash, and cars began to melt and gasoline began to explode in them. All these cars turned into bombs in a second, which after the explosion scattered debris like shrapnel from a grenade.

AAAAHHHHH

From a second, the screams of hundreds of people merged into one cry of despair. It was necessary for a person to fall into the flames, as a person turned into ashes. The whole town that was behind me burned completely.

NOOO!

AAAAAAARRRRRHHH

I screamed in anger and ran towards the monster. I threw back my right hand and punched the monster in the face with all my might.

BOOOM

The impact caused a loud explosion with a shock wave that extinguished the flames in nearby buildings. The clone's head fell back and he began to fall onto his back. Taking a few steps back, he hit a tall building behind him. The walls of the building immediately began to collapse. The weight of the beast continued to press down on the building, and it sank deeper and deeper. At some point, the building could not withstand the damage and began to fall.

BOOMM

BAAAHH

CRRAACCCKK

The building was falling on my clone. The concrete walls were cracking, and the metal was bending, littering it with debris. There was a lot of dust in the air. All this time, the beast continued to emit fire, and it spread in all directions. Only when he was under the wreckage of the skyscraper did he stop emitting fire.

I waved my hand to disperse the dust and walked over to where the house had fallen. The beast poked its head out of the wreckage and shook it to throw off the debris. After a second, he began to rise, covered with rubble.

"Why did he do that?!" I asked myself. "Why did he attack people and not me?" Anger filled me and I wanted to know the answer to my question. I was going to find out from him, even after I beat him to death!

ROOOAARRRRR

I shouted at him again, standing over him. He looked at me and there was a kind of madness in his eyes. Hunger and madness, these two emotions I saw in his eyes.

SSCREEEEEE

He shouted at me, rising to his feet. In this scream, I somehow felt in my heart what he wanted. This understanding came from the heart and was very strange to me. You don't think about anything, but somehow you already know what is happening here.

"He wanted more radiation, but people stopped giving him it!" This is what I understood from his cry. Even more rage filled me. "Shut up!" I screamed in my heart and hit him on the head with all my might before he could get up.

BOOM

The force of the blow sent the clone to the ground again. He hit the ground again with a noise and plunged face down into the ruins of the building. I did not stop and delivered another punch to the head.

BOOM

I ignored a lot of opinions about this clone. He was another titan in this world. Somehow I could understand him, which meant I could communicate with him. Should we pity him and teach him how to live? Should we consider him still too young and thus justify him and forgive him?

I didn't want to accept all these thoughts. I rejected them as best I could. I couldn't care less about this guy's backstory. He is simply a mad creation of mad scientists.

RAAAHHH

I screamed again and hit him on the head again, putting all my weight into the blow. But he took his head inside the armor.

BAAM

My fist went deep into the ground and the moment I withdrew my hand, my clone pulled head out of its armor and fired a concentrated orange beam of fire at me.

AAARRHH

I wasn't in much pain, but the current was strong enough to push me back. I lost my balance and fell flat on my back, right into the river behind me. Sprays rose into the air, and the river immediately burst its banks from my weight and flooded the streets. The place where his beam hit was red from the burn.

SSCRREEEEEEEEEEEE

When I rose to my feet, the turtle in front of me was already ready for battle. He stood and screamed with all his might, terrifying the people who heard the scream many miles away. I understood again what he wanted. He shouted: "More!"

I realized that even if he reaches the NPP and gets everything he wants, it won't be enough for him. He will not be limited to one nuclear power plant!

I ran at him and he ran at me. The ground shook and cracked as the two hippos ran at each other. Each step made a scars on the ground, lifting asphalt and stones into the air. We approached each other and prepared to hit each other. He put his hands out to catch my punch.

BOOOOOMMM

Our collision created a shock wave that blew away all the smoke and dust in the air. I tried to punch him in the face again, but he somehow blocked the blow and immediately bit my arm.

AAAARRRHH

I cried out in pain as his teeth sank into my skin. My skin was pretty tough after all the Kaiju I'd eaten and all the radiation I'd absorbed, but the force of his bite was great enough to make me feel pain inside my arm.

I hit him in the face with my other hand. He tried to block that hand as well, but I sidestepped it and aimed it right in his face.

BOOM

He let go of my hand and took two steps to the side. After that, he suddenly turned towards me and hit me in the throat with the claws of his right hand. He was a full head shorter than me and it was difficult for him to reach my head, but my throat was completely open for him.

AAAHRRRR

His claws made several scars on my neck, and blood immediately flowed from these wounds. Reflexively, I clamped one hand over my throat. My clone wanted to slash at me with its claws again, but I punched it ahead with my left hand with all my might.

There was another loud explosion and the clone took a few steps back and fell to the ground, leaving a large and long scar on the ground. He regained consciousness almost immediately and shook his head.

This time I didn't give him time to get up. I filled my lungs with air that was filled with smoke and used my fire attack.

RRAAAAHHHHHHHHH

A golden flame shot out of my mouth and headed towards my enemy, covering him completely.

SRREEEEESHH

My clone screamed in pain as his body burned with much stronger flames than he could handle. He was yelling for me to stop and that he was in pain, but I wasn't going to stop. Although it was very painful to understand him. I'm used to fighting Kaiju who don't complain when they get hit, but this clone was begging for pity.

My clone screamed and waved its arms. His body was red with heat and smoking, and his skin was turning into a black crust. In desperation, he found a way out and ran on all fours into the city and a moment later hid behind the buildings. I kept sending my fire on him all this time, but when he took cover behind the houses I had to stop the attack.
