Chapter 19: I Am Not a Random Person

Before crossing over, Ang always thought that the writers of Marvel and DC had some kind of poison in them, allowing the same hero to have all sorts of crazy conflicts and setups.

After crossing over, Ang suddenly had a moment of realization. Perhaps the different parallel world environments led these writers to be inspired by the knowledge of another world's "future" from their dreams, resulting in such storylines.

If we follow "history," Ang was extremely sure that there was no such thing as a restraining force. The zombie universe had been turned into a closed loop by the "Watchers," confined to an infinite loop within a specific time frame. However, only these two universes suffered, while others were spared.

Saying that both universes were completely wiped out would be accurate.

But now, it's clear that the zombie heroes are spilling over into Ang's universe!

The only consolation is that the overflow doesn't seem to be extensive for the moment, so there might still be a chance to turn things around.

As the familiar figure burned fiercely, a crimson light flew into Ang's chest, and system prompts flooded his retinas:

The images of bodies on TV and in newspapers with terrified and pained expressions, yet grinning mouths, were deeply etched in their minds.

Who knew if this time's zombies were the result of some crazy scientist specializing in chemistry or biology.

Dinah gripped her sister's shoulder. "Is there anything important left in your house?"

Sara shook her head.

Dinah pursed her lips, pulling Sara, and came over to Ang's side. "This... Boss, if possible, could you please take in my sister temporarily? She has nowhere to go."

Sara, with a pleading expression, nodded vigorously.

Ang looked at the Canary sisters, who shared a resemblance yet had their own unique qualities. A playful smile appeared on his face. "My house is quite spacious!"

This sentence immediately reminded Sara of the promise she made on the phone when she was yelling for help. Her smile froze on her face.

Fortunately, Ang's next words were, "By the way, my butler Frank has resigned. Sara, you can be my temporary butler."

Dinah tugged her sister's hand and whispered, "Don't worry, Ang is not a random person."

On the way back home, Ang felt a bit worried.

Regarding the likes of the Joker, who breaks out and then starts killing people with poisonous gas, Ang feels that a merciful death is the best option for innocent citizens, not some useless hundred-life sentences.

However, after tonight's appearance of the zombie hero, Ang didn't pay much attention to Gotham's gangs.

"Oh? Is that so? It seems Mr. Wayne is going to be busy." Ang guessed right.

A person's energy is limited. Whether it's the people or the heroes, when their attention is drawn to a "major event," they tend to overlook other matters.

When it was revealed that the Joker, who had attempted to poison the entire city, had escaped from Arkham, the stressed Batman didn't even notice a small commotion at a warehouse on the docks.
