GOD OF REWARDS IN ONE PIECE (DROPPED)

Alex is transported to the world of One Piece by the whim of the god of rewards and now he has to survive in one of his favorite animes where the story doesn't always follow the original plot. It's my own story in the world of pirates, but all rights to the story belong to the author of the original work, I don't own any rights to it, I just have fun writing in the world that Ichiro Oda created. This fan-fic is a story I write for fun and only 2 or 3 chapters will be updated on weekends.

CHAPTER 6

At the marine headquarters, Sengoku, Zephyr, Garp, and Tsuru were discussing what had happened between Whitebeard and Alex.

What do you think happened? (Sengoku)

Whitebeard values his men highly, so it's likely that one of his men nearly killed another. (Garp)

Why are you so sure? (Zephyr)

For better or for worse, I am the one who understands Roger, Whitebeard, and Shiki the best. (Garp)

If what Garp says is true, that Alex helped Whitebeard, which makes him our enemy. (Sengoku)

Well, let's not judge yet. (Tsuru)

What do you mean? (Sengoku)

First of all, we don't know who Alex is. Second, he seems to know more than everyone about this world chat and the god of rewards, so we can pretend to be friends to get information and maybe other benefits, it's not too late to punish him later. (Tsuru)

I see, it's better not to be his enemy, for now, to gain benefits. (Sengoku)

Alex for his part, had no idea that he had already entered the list of enemies of the upper management of the navy. At this time he had used the card he received from the exchange and his Observation Haki had risen to the advanced level.

Right now Alex is pretty much the most powerful man in the first part of the Grand Line, even in the New World he would be considerably powerful, and now that Whitebeard owed him one, he had strong backing.

Alex, as a One Piece fan, knew when he saw the curses of Ace, Jozu, Vista, and the others, that Teach must have stolen the devil fruit and that Thatch must be injured or dead, so he asked if he was alive and when he found out that he was, proposed the exchange.

Alex thought that it was strange that Teach stole the fruit at this time, because although the manga or anime never said when it happened, it was easy to infer that when Luffy and Ace met in Alabasta this event had happened some time ago and compared to this moment. It seemed strange, but he simply chalked it up to the change in history due to his and the god of rewards arrival.

On the other hand, he did not change his senzu seed without thinking. Alex actually had 3 reasons for making this change. The first was that, with his current power, the senzu seed was unnecessary, as very few could harm him to the point where he needed to eat it.

Second, he liked Whitebeard's crew, because they were like family and they were lucky to have won a reward like the Observation Haki card that Alex needed.

And third, Alex knew the plot of One Piece to a certain extent and while now that he and the god of rewards exist, a lot can change, he was inclined to think that the big events of history could be repeated and wanted to stop some of them from happening.

While saving Thatch doesn't stop Ace from looking for Teach and the Marineford war from happening, Thatch's life and death could be a special variable, and since he didn't lose anything in the trade, he just did it.

Several days passed and one of the characteristic seagulls that sells newspapers came to the ship where Alex was traveling and bought a newspaper and there he was able to see Luffy's first "Wanted" poster, thanks to Arlong's defeat.

Alex smiled when he saw the poster since it was certainly not a suitable photo for a poster of this type. Besides, he was noticing that if things continued like this, he was very likely to run into the Straw Hats in Loguetown.

He wouldn't mind running into them, after all, he was a fan of them when he read the manga, so seeing them in person would be great, however, he didn't feel like joining them.

Although Alex thought it would be great to travel with Luffy and the others, he also believed that this world was quite special and very different from the world of pirates he knows, since the existence of the god of rewards was already a special case and he believed that it would be more strong if traveling alone.

Despite everything, Alex decided that if he came across them he would give them a present. The days went by and everyone had gotten used to the existence and functions of the strange burning screen in the sky.

Many asked Alex about the world chat features and the god of rewards, but he didn't answer, however, before long everyone found out the secrets.

It really wasn't that much, it was just the trading tool that Alex and Whitebeard had used earlier and nothing else. After many days at sea, the merchant ship Alex was traveling on arrived at Loguetown.

Alex disembarked immediately extended his Observation Haki and covered the entire island, he wanted to know if Luffy and the others were there. Within seconds he was able to identify Smoker, Tashigi, Buggy, and Alvida, but Luffy and the others hadn't arrived.

He sighed dejectedly, because he really wanted to meet them, but there was nothing to do. However, when he was going to withdraw his Haki of Observation caught the presence of Luffy and his friends approaching, and that made him happy.

Despite Alex's delight at noticing the Straw Hat crew, he wasn't planning on meeting them in Loguetown. Since the god of rewards and himself hadn't made any big moves yet, Alex thought that the original story shouldn't have changed much so far, so he decided not to watch them for now.

Alex had decided to see them after they left Loguetown for the Grand Line, meanwhile, he would just wander around town looking for something interesting to do.

However, surprises always come suddenly because at that moment the screen in the sky bursts into furious flames. Normally when the screen is inactive, it takes on a transparent color mixing with the color of the sky, but since everyone learned to use the world chat, that doesn't happen anymore, because there is always someone leaving a message.

However, this explosion of flames was more intense than the one that occurs when sending messages in the world chat and immediately attracted everyone's attention, as they knew that a change was coming.

(It's a bit shorter, sorry about that)
