A seemingly grim silence shrouded the entire room as Sanada gnashed his teeth and clenched his fists hard, the two youngsters waiting for the old baldy to control his emotions.

After a few seconds and a deep breath, Sanada finally spoke, slightly easing the heavy atmosphere:

"That's what happened, and that's why everyone believes that pretentious bastard. We fell for his trap and paid for it, though two of our former comrades sided with him in the first confrontation…" The old man recounted with anger, sadness, and regret.

"I see…but how can I use this as proof to those I will recruit?" Shye asked in confusion.

The battle was indeed a great watch but he didn't know how it would help him convince his underlings and close friends to join his cause.
