Chapter 80: Stop the car !

Calcel had just driven a short distance away from the function. They had all been quite and Alyssa's head had started becoming heavy due to the alcohol she had taken.

" Why did you have to drink that much ? " He asked as he drove.

Alyssa gave a silly smile on hearing him. " Because I was so happy for you son. " She spoke in a sluggish voice.

" Happy for me ? I thought you don't care. " Calcel said.

Alyssa turned to look at him. " I do care , So much. It's my responsibility as a mother. " She said giving him a silly look her eyes half open from drunkardness.

Seeing her like this made Calcel laugh and he added nothing. " Why are you laughing at me now ? " She asked still in a tipsy voice.

Calcel smiled and said. " Thanks for being responsible . My dear Mother. " For the first time he called her mother though she was drunk she was surprised to hear this.

" Mother ? " She asked looking sober now and tears started flowing from her eyes once again.

Calcel looked at her and got confused. " What's wrong ? " He asked looking at her.

A lot was running in her mind at the moment. At a point she wished she never accepted to get married to David , She would have got a loan from a bank and she would be working hard to pay back. She wouldn't have also stopped acting and now she would the most famous actress. But now she had lost all , Her freedom. Her reputation and everything. Everyone who looked at her judged her that she married David because of his wealth.

Now Calcel is engaged , Why did she accept him to drive her in the first place. What if someone saw this at this point , Didn't it look bad for a step son to go back home with his young step mother after his engagement. Thinking all about this without looking at Calcel Alyssa said.

" Stop the car ! " She said more like commanding him.

," Huh..? " Calcel asked as if not understanding what she said.

" I said stop the car right now ! " She said again this time looking at him.

Calcel wondered where she got the courage to say this. " But you are drunk , I can't leave you here alone. " He muttered.

" I know. But I will get a taxi. " She said.

Calcel was still driving so he decided to ignore her and continued driving.

" I said stop the car ! " This time she yelled.

" I am not stopping. " He said still driving.

Losing control , Alyssa moved closer and held the steering wheel to obstruct him. " Stop or else I am changing the direction of the car. " She said struggling with him to move the steering wheel and as she Calcel also fought back they ended up leading the car to another direction that it left the main road going to the bush.

" Alyssa stop this ! " Calcel yelled at her but she was drunk. She didn't listen and as she continued to struggle they drove deep inside the bush . Calcel Couldn't take this anymore so seeing that she was ready to insist he pushed her hard back into the seat and got the chance to stop the car and as if the God's were still on their side the car stopped just before a huge tree it was about to knock.

" Oh my God ! " He said thumping after the narrow escape and then looked back at Alyssa who was still struggling to attack again. The push had made her weak. They both released heavy breathes after this as Calcel leaned on his seat.

After them getting back to normal Calcel looked at Alyssa in disappointment. " Do you know that we almost got a car crush because of what you were doing ? " He asked angrily.

Alyssa chuckled. " What's the use of living now ? " She asked not looking at him.

Calcel was surprised to hear this again. " What the hell are you talking about ? " He asked eyes gawking her.

Alyssa smirked and looked at him . " I have already lost whatever I had. So even if I die now there's nothing to lose. " She said with a corner of a smile.

" What have you lost ? " He asked

" The people I loved most , My career and whatever I wanted by myside. " She said.

" But you have us . You have your mother too. " Calcel said .

Alyssa gave a fake smile on hearing this and tears started coming again .

" I also thought the same. Till today." She said.
