Chapter 79: The party ( 3 ).

The two women looked at Alyssa with smirks on their faces.

" Don't worry , Once May gets there , Everything will become easy for us. " Cynthia assured as they both smiled.

After talking like over five glasses of the whiskey , Alyssa felt dizzy and decided to leave the hall. She was still stable on walking outside. May was still with Calcel when he noticed Alyssa get out , He had been stealing glances from her while she drunk. He was sure she had taken alot out of thoughts.

" Excuse me.! " He said and left the hall before May could say anything. She had not seen Alyssa good enough so she thought he was going for the washroom.

Alyssa was staggering to the car when Calcel came running. On seeing her , He rushed and grabbed her by the hand making her to turn to look at him.

" What are you doing outside ? " He said

Alyssa gave him an evil look and freed her a from his grip.

" I am the one who should be asking the question. What are you doing here ? Your fiance is inside. " She said a little in a tipsy voice.

" Aly , You are drunk ? " He asked getting worried about her.

" Who said I am ? " She asked.

Calcel shook his head in disbelief. " Let me call the driver to come and pick you before Dad sees you. Otherwise he won't be happy to see you in this situation ." He said and picked his phone to ring when Alyssa stopped him.

" No need for that. " She spoke still in a tipsy voice and she looked at him.

" I am very sober. And besides that you shouldn't sorry about me , Go inside . Your fiance is waiting . "

She said and turned to leave but when she made a step she staggered but before she could fall onto the ground Calcel was first enough to grab her by the waist. Alyssa immediately held his shoulders for support. They stared at each other , Their lips were just a short distance away from each other and they could feel their breathes. Alyssa looked at him with many thoughts running in her mind.

" May is so lucky , I wish I were the one whom you just got engaged to today. " She thought inside and a tear rolled from her eye.

" Aly , Are you alright ? " Calcel asked on seeing the tear. She had assured him that she felt nothing towards him so there was no where he would know why she was crying at the moment. Realising what she had done she quickly fled away from his grip and rubbed of the tear her palm.

" I am alright. Go back to the hall , Tell your father that I have gone. " She said she turned to leave when Calcel grabbed her hand again and this time carried her in his arms.

" What are u..."

" I will take you home. You can't drive now You are so drunk. " He said to hed and dragged her tohis car this time. Reaching before that he put her down and opened the door for her.

" Get inside ! " He spoke more like in a commanding tone. " Alyssa obeyed and entered the car.

He walked to the other side of the car and also entered. He soon started the car and begun driving. It was getting dark slowly .

May had been in the hall for sometime when she realised that Calcel had taken over thirty minutes without returning back. The guests were starting to depart and she had been busy seeing them off.

She went to David and asked. " Have you seen Calcel around ? " David looked around. " I thought he were with you. " He said.

" Ah..he excused himself for the washroom but he hasn't returned. " She said. " Then wait for him , Be patient. " David said and continued talking to the guests.

May knew this wasn't going to work her so she got her phone and went to the washroom to ring him. She called several times but he wasn't picking.

' What's wrong with him ? " She asked innery before getting out of the washroom .

When she went back to the hall she walked to where Juliana and Cynthia were.

" Mom , Ms Juliana . How are you ? " She greeted them with a smile and a bow.

" Oh my beautiful daughter. Come closer. " Juliana said hugging her. " Congs upon this. " She said.

" Thank Ms Juliana. " She said. " You are already my daughter in.law so feel free to call me Mother " Juliana spoke with a grin.

" Really ? " May asked.

" Why not ? " Cynthia asked smiling too.
