Chapter 5: Rise To The Top

After Chrollo accepted the three siblings, the system prompt immediately sounded.

With the three siblings joining the Phoenix Guild, Chrollo also received system rewards. While the exclusive rewards are gifts given to each new guild member by the system.

The first reward was for accepting Mirajane: Lost Magic: Lord of All Demons and the Blood Of The Demon.

The former is a power beyond this world. The Lord Of All Demons allows Chrollo to absorb any demon, gaining their spells and powers.

Though this power is not from the Fairy Tail world, the system converts it to Ancient/Lost Magic. Another reward is the Blood Of The Demon, exclusive to Mirajane. This enhances her magic and allows her to better grasp her magic.

Monster Affinity, rewarded for accepting Lisanna, enhances Chrollo's connection with monsters. Notably, all monsters will be exceptionally friendly towards him and may even offer assistance.

While this might seem useless, if the target is a monster comparable to an S-class mage, it becomes very powerful. Natural Gemstone has a similar but slightly weaker effect.

Beastmaster Deterrence, rewarded for accepting Elfman, allows Chrollo to master the aura deterrence of a Beastmaster.

This is different from the magical coercion of an S-class mage; Beastmaster's deterrence can also control herds.

Combined with Natural Affinity, if used properly, Chrollo can initiate a wave of monsters.

The Strong Heart Gemstone boosts character by removing fear, timidity, and weakness in challenging situations. Although it doesn't directly increase strength, it alters characteristics, making it ideal for Elfman. Despite his youth, having a mature and courageous mindset is beneficial, which the Strong Heart Gemstone provides.

Although the rewards are few, but they are all good shit. However, it's not the right time to redeem them, so Chrollo silently chooses "No."

After hearing Chrollo agree to her request, Lisanna jumps up excitedly.

"Thank you so much, Brother Chrollo!"

"T-thank you, s-sir!" Elfman added.

"Thank you for taking us in, Guildmaster Chrollo," Mirajane says, relieved.

"HAHAHAHA, no worries. The guild will become lively because of you three siblings." Chrollo laughs and waves his hand.

After chatting a bit more, Chrollo carries the completely dead giant tiger and leaves Mikage Forest with the three siblings, heading to the Phoenix Guild.

Along the way, the three siblings become more familiar with Chrollo. Chrollo also tells them about different types of magic and some basic information about mages. This gives the three siblings a basic understanding of the magical world.

As they enter the city, Lisanna gazes curiously at the bustling, crowded streets, while Mirajane and Elfman remain silent, but their eyes filled with wonder.

Chrollo smiles slightly as he watches the three and continues walking toward the guild's location.

Soon, they reach the center of Malba City.

"Is this the Phoenix Guild?" All three are surprised.

The Phoenix Guild looks more like a small forest than the surrounding landmark buildings. But it has an eye-catching, imposing, and mysterious aura, feeling entirely different.

"I'll say this again, kids, WELCOME TO THE PHOENIX GUILD!"

Then Chrollo opens the guild door and leads the three into the guild hall.

The original Phoenix Guild was very shabby, but after awakening the system, the guild was completely renovated.

The layout of the guild hall is somewhat similar to a tavern from an anime. Inside the guild hall, there's a magical feeling, as if the soul and body are being cleansed, creating a very comfortable atmosphere.

The three siblings look around at what will become their home. However, they soon notice that apart from Chrollo, there is no one else in the guild.

"Brother Chrollo, how many people are there in the Phoenix Guild now?" Lisanna asks curiously.

"Actually, I'm the only one left in this guild," Chrollo replies casually while taking out a rum from the cabinet.

"Brother Chrollo is alone?" Lisanna is surprised.

Along the way, Chrollo had told her that a Magic Guild is a gathering place for mages. But the situation of the Phoenix Guild surprises her.

Scratching her head, Lisanna doesn't know what to say.

However, Mirajane steps forward, declaring, "Not anymore! The Phoenix Guild now has four people!" She then smiles brightly at Chrollo.

Four people: Chrollo and the three siblings.

Chrollo was stunned for a moment as he saw Elfman also step forward and Lisanna smiling again.

"HAHAHAHA, you three siblings are really interesting! You're right, the Phoenix Guild now has four people!"

"As the Guildmaster, I promise to protect everyone in the guild with my life on the line." Chrollo earnestly makes a promise.

Then, Mirajane extends her fist, followed by Lisanna and Elfman.

Seeing them, Chrollo also stretches out his hand, clenches his fist, and touches theirs.

"PHOENIX GUILD, RISE TO THE TOP!"
